So I know this is the CBR thread! For those of you who are madly and love! Where else have you stayed? What about CBR trumps that/those resorts?

Last stay was at POR (loved it) and now booked at CBR. I was originally very nervous about booking here because I have read a lot of negative reviews. It's nice to read some good ones on this forum. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that most of the upgrades are done by mid November so there's a better chance of getting a refurbished room. I have a son with some muscular issues so if anyone that has stayed at CBR has any suggestions on room/location requests I would love to hear from you!

We are staying here from the 4th Nov 2015 to 18th Nov 2015 as part of our honeymoon trip to Orlando. This will be the first time we have stayed on property and are super excited.

Thank you all for the amazing and helpful information in this thread as I have learned so much since we started reading it.

We have a couple "resort" days planned so we are looking for things to do around the resort other than just swimming. I definitely plan on renting the bikes to ride around the resort - I can't wait to do that! I know they have gotten rid of the docks at the resort, but do they still have paddle boats available?

That I am not sure of. Hopefully somebody going soon can check.

Our first stay at CBR will be Oct 31-Nov 8th. I'm really excited to stay here. We've stayed at POR many times and love it there, but no FD, but that's ok since I've wanted to stay at CBR many times.

Great news! I spoke with a cast member today. She confirmed me CBR ia getting queen bed and pretty much everything in the room is new... Starting tomorrow, people will be able to check-in in jamaica 41 in a refurbished room....

Welcome! We were POR fans until our first stay at CBR and now we can't stay anywhere else.

That's good to know! I'm a big fan of POR but,we will be staying at CBR for our 1st time Sept.13-21.
We have also stayed at Wilderness lodge and LOVED it!!! But can only afford the moderate resorts now,

Hello everyone! We just booked CBR for Dec 13-20!! It'll be our first stay here. Since it's me, DH, DD5 and DS2 I'm going to hope for a refurbed room for the bigger beds to share I look forward to trying a new resort !

PS...anyone know if Lactaid is sold in the shop here? My son is lactose intolerant and will not drink soy. Wondering if we should do a grocery stop first or if we can just grab it at the resort!!

Just booked a Thanksgiving trip (11/22 - 11/29) at CBR for DH, DD, DS, and me! It's our first time at CBR and a surprise trip for the kids. We weren't planning another Disney trip until 2015, but received a pin code for free dining and couldn't pass it up. I'm so excited!!!!

My DD (14) and I will be staying at CBR for 3 nights prior to our stay at WLV. Can someone recommend a nice section or Standard room to request? Thanks!

Our favorite is Jamaica 45. It is around 4-5 minute stroll across the bridge to OPR and the Main Pool. Aruba 51 is also about the same. We just happen to prefer the bright yellow buildings of Jamaica.

We will be there Sept. 13th-21st 2014. Anyone maybe interested in meeting after chating on here?
