Ok, so on USA the other night they played the Season 5 finale where Jenny is shot. Did we ever really find out what she was sick from? I remember Ducky saying something...or was it Tony? I don't remember but I *think* I remember something about her being sick.

No they didn't. Ducky told Gibbs she was dying after she had been killed. Mike Franks knew because he went thru Jenny's stuff when they were together. I think it may have been something like ALS or MS because Ducky mentioned it would be a slow death.

i love this show too - didn't watch it in the beginning but my parents did - they would talk about it and eventually i asked when it was on.

once i saw it i was hooked. i'm glad the brought it onto DIVA channel and started from the beginning so i could get all caught up.

i can't wait until it starts up again in the autumn.

I was browsing a smidge through the Entertainment Weekly this afternoon and happened to flip to the correct page. A small teaser for the season opener

Be ADVISED:

We ARE NOT allowed to miss the very beginning. That 1 minute b4 the theme plays is apparently of utmost importance. Supposedly we're going to be very shocked puppies when we see it.

Consider yourselves warned. 9/22/09 8pm.

Well, I can get a little busy..you guys have to keep me posted. I'm currently deployed to Iraq---yes NCIS Agents do deploy to Iraq, for four months at a time--so we don't get network TV. We get the shows, but AFN is hard to explain unless you've experienced it...

Just once I'd like to see them do paperwork on one of the cases---and I'm a firearms instructor, and I want to see an "after action" darn it...

Oh that's funny. I remember 1 show a few seasons ago where they were going over the office tapes. Was that the YPestis ep? Might have been, pretty sure it was a Kate ep. It showed DiNozzo coming in round about the middle of the night to do paperwork. Gibbs said he always did his best work at night

We will keep you updated. Some of us are kind of obsessed when the season rolls around.

i really have stuff to do so i have to get off my duff.

I like Chris O'donnell, but I wasn't that impressed with that 2 parter. I'll probably watch to give it another chance.
