The NCIS Official Thread

I just want to make it clear that tonights NCIS episode introduces "NCIS Los Angeles".

Oops! thanks for the clarification. I did misunderstand you. I thought you were talking about the USA episodes. Darn.

Tonight on NCIS is the repeat of the first of two episodes introducing the NCIS spin off, just in case anyone missed it.

Can't wait for the new season!!!

I am glad you said something, I forgot tonight was Tuesday, it has been a long week so far.:headache:

Anyone seen the new commercial with Chris O'Donnel and LL Cool J following "Abbey" down the street?

AND I JUST SAW A COMMERCIAL FOR THE NEW SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

OK, we're watching it on DVD - so we won't see the current season for quite some time. On about episode 5 or 6 in season 2. I have to say the writing on this show is way too good for a TV show (we just watched the epoisode with the Medal of Honor Recipient and Iwo Jima). Incredible stuff.

I have seen that episode so many times, but every time I see it, I get choked up when he dances with Kate. Just a great episode.

This year's press release listed him as a series regular (though of course that doesn't mean he's contracted to appear in all the episodes); I don't recall him being listed that way last year, but I'm not really sure about that.

Okay, just checked.... yes, Brian Dietzen was a recurring character last season, and it does look like he's a series regular this season. We won't know for sure until we see the opening credits for this season though. While they're usually very careful with things like that in press releases (there are legal/union/contractual ramifications), sometimes they goof.

Okay, checking more sources, it does look like they did goof in the press release (from May, which is the one I was talking about in the message above). The press release for the season premiere makes it clear that Brian Dietzen is not only not a series regular, but he's not even in the premiere episode.

So we haven't gotten to the end of season 2 yet - but obviously there is bit of a blockbuster coming. So does anybody know why they wrote the Kate character out of the show? Did Sasha Alexander get "fired" or want to "quit" the show? Just curious.

She quit.

Look what I saw on Facebook:

The cast of NCIS will be on The Early Show tomorrow morning taking questions from YOU! Submit your question on TV.com that includes your first name, your hometown, and the burning question you're dying to have answered!!

I got one...I want to see if they can make my paycheck match theirs..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just bumping this up so we can all get ready for the new season. In case anyone forgot it starts tonight!!!!!!!!!!

Is Ziva now off the show? The only thing I saw of the last episode was her on a ship being tortured.
tigercat

I don't know for sure, but she was on the morning show with the rest of the cast. So.... I'm guessing she will be on it at some point. :)

Spoiler:
Cote de Pablo has been appearing all week, along with the rest of the featured cast of NCIS, on the talk show circuit. When that question was posed to her/them, them simply alluded to the fact that she was there, with the rest of the cast, promoting the new season.

I can't wait for tonight's premier. :hyper: The Love taps footage was cute.

If a new thread is started for the new season coming up, could some one leave a link here? I'd like to follow it. Thanks.
