The NCIS Official Thread

I have always loved Gibbs (still do), but I must say that Tony is aging well!

In white, in case some haven't seen the show yet....

When the show started, the first thing I thought about was True Lies! When Tony brought it up at the end of the show, I was laughing out loud. And of course, it was Gibbs to the rescue!

OK I don't think these count as spoilers...

Does Tony look like he has put on weight? And did you guys catch the "Some idiot tried to smuggle a koala in a submarine"?

I did!:rotfl: I'm glad I taped it-I plan to watch again this weekend.

That was funny! :rotfl:

i ended up about 15 minutes behind because i kept rewinding and rewatching parts

laughing at the bear on the sub

and the true lies reference

i rewound the end with the you've got 30 seconds part - WOW - that was a good shot

At first, I wasn't sure I was going to like this episode--I'm not much on shows where one character does all of the talking and has flashbacks--but OMG, I loved it!

Does Tony's remark to Ziva "I couldn't live without you" signal the start of something between them or just more of the same "its there, but we're not going to admit it"?

Not feelin' it for NCIS:LA, though

i'll give ncis la a couple of weeks but it's not clicking with me

i hope that ziva and tony don't hook up - that always spells the end of a show.

who's the boss
JAG
to name but two that ended after the mains got together

you need that sexual tension to make it work

Ah JAG was over for me b4 they got together. Just ran its course 4 me. I think Tony and Ziva and Ziva and Gibbs are gonna have such interesting conversations next week.
In white:i knew it was gonna be Gibbs at the end with the sniping. But just what is that code he has going on with Vance? Like the whole thing was planned between them.

NCIS:LA....definitely works 4 me. I think Callen's history is just gonna break my heart.....BUt who is the OPs director? I know her from somewhere and can't figure it out. Driving me crazy:rotfl:

Tonight's epi had a great WOW factor I thought.

Oct bride, if its the short one, she was in Kindergarten Cop. Or, if you think of her from a cartoon stand point, she reminds me of Edna from the Incredibles (putting together outfits, critiquing this and that).

That's Linda Hunt, she's been in a lot of things including Kindergarten Cop. In this show she looks kind of like Edna from The Incredibles. :rotfl:

I'm with you. I don't like commentary through a show, but tonight was just wow. I'm still speachless (in a good way) .

Yeah, I had the Incredibles in my head every time she came on screen:lmao: I can't remember if she did the voice or not, but no way was Edna not based on her. So I guess I've seen her in a million things. I swear there's 1 show in particular though. Off to IMDB I guess.

Especially when she stepped up on the step stool! :rotfl:

Not sure who Edna was based on but she was voiced by Brad Bird who was the movie director.

Love the original dont care for NCIS LA

Yeah, I just found that on IMDB. Judging from her list I have either heard or seen her in a LOT!. I think I remember her most from the Practice since she was listed as a judge. I definitely would have seen her there, that was an obsession in my house too.

3 minutes and counting can't wait to see it I have been waiting the whole summer and counting down the days. I am so glad it's back on....I am jumping for joy:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

I too loved tonights show!

NCIS:LA was pretty good. Keep in mind that they have to set up all the characters for the benefit of anyone who did not see the Two parter NCIS where they were introduced. I think once that is done and the actors get less nervous or start to gel, then the show will move more smoothly.

I absolutely loved the Hetty character!

POSSIBLE SPOILER As for the "Tiva" thing, Shane Brennen has basically said that they will toy with it but he knows that it would be the end of the show. He isn't ready to "jump the shark." The UST keeps things going.

What happened to the character Macy that was the team leader for NCIS LA - the blonde that buried Gibbs evidence that he shot his family's killer???
