A BC/CR split seems like the best of both worlds. We love both the BC and WL. There is something really nice about being on Bay Lake. It feels more relaxing there then anywhere else at WDW.

We were at the BC when you arrived on Monday and the wifi worked pretty well for us. I have a feeling that your room location and the dormer room was a big factor. We had a dormer room at the WL once and I really hate the closed in feeling, with the sloped ceiling and the closed balconies. It would be a lot worse with two teenagers.

Is the monorail back to normal yet? It was running fewer trains when we were there.

I always say book now! You can always cancel if needed later. Free Dining is tricky, you never really know for sure if you can get the resort you want if you wait until the discount is released.

We all slept fantastic last night! Lots of much needed space to stretch out.

We are headed to Epcot! Somehow we managed to change our Teppen Edo reservation to Le Cellier! There must have been a cancellation.

We've got FP's for Nemo, Soarin', and the Land. It rained this morning and might rain this afternoon, but tonight it's supposed to clear off.

This morning in the lounge they had tons of choices... cheese danish, chocolate croissant, these little muffins with apple centers, and all the regular cereals and oatmeal.

Raining at Epcot. We did nemo and now we are killing time in world showcase until our Soarin Fastpass.

The pineapple soft serve with coconut rum was good!!

We survived

It was a pretty bad storm. We ordered lunch at the bar at R&C. Fish and chips. Very good! But it was brutal to stand that whole time. There really wasn't any other choice with the storm.

Heading back to CR now for rest before dinner tonight at Le Cellier.

Finally made it back to CR after getting soaked! There's no way we can make it back to Epcot after showers and getting dressed for dinner. Luckily the CR CL was able to rebook us for Citrico's! Much closer and easier!

Am I the only one who is an epic fail at making dinner plans??? This is the 3rd night I've had to change our restaurant.

I find that a big smile and a love of Disney can accomplish just about anything while on vacation here.

The new changes are difficult for everyone. Heck I'm a veteran and even I'm having issues. A funny story... we were at AK walking towards DinoLand and I overheard a MyMagic+ castmember say she was ready to throw her iPad on the ground! This is a crazy time for everyone... guests and castmembers... all we can do is our best and be as flexible as possible. This entire system is going to go through a lot of changes this year. Inevitably anyone coming to WDW is going to run into an issue of some sort. I'm among the Keep Calm and Carry On crowd. Oh, speaking of, my youngest son is OBSESSED with the UK. He says he's moving to England as soon as possible. This isn't just a passing fancy, it's been going on for the last few years. Today while we were stuck in the UK during the storm he just about bought me out of UK souvenirs. What do you do with a kid who's ready to leave his country???

I love the YC! I checked availability there for 4 months, never could get an opening. When we checked in they said it was due to a huge conference that basically took over the entire resort. Stinks But we will be back there soon.

The CR has turned out to be great. I admit I was skeptical, we are Poly lovers, and we had stayed at the CR before, but things have been great here so far. DH and I were just saying we would definitely stay here at the Atrium Club again.
