That definitely could be, I've never had the issue where it just wouldn't stay connected. Normally when there's a lot of usage it's just slow, but we couldn't even stay connected.

There does seem to be more variety here. This morning when we arrived to check in I noticed they had several different muffin, pastry, and breakfast bread selections, including white bread to make toast. This afternoon there were 4 varieties of cookies, goldfish, chips, gummi bears, etc. I actually haven't been down there yet, but the kids reported back to me.

The construction at the Poly are the over-water bungalows for DVC 2 bedroom villas. I wanted to go over there and check out the GCH, I hear Captain Cooks is closed and construction to remove the waterfall begins soon. Huge changes coming to the Poly over the next year or so.

We were delayed getting to MK and missed our FP time by about 20 minutes. They were very backed up here on the 12th floor, the family ahead of us was having major check-in problems, different names on their reservation, some people that came that weren't supposed to come and others who were on the reservation who didn't come, etc. They were nice enough to give us a pass to enter Mermaid late.

We have arrived to our room at the CR and we love it! What a view!!!!! I was worried we weren't going to enjoy it because last time we had an MK view, but this view is really great. The pool, the lake, Epcot in the distance. My husband was actually just pointing out that in many ways it's better than overlooking the parking lot. We can hear the music coming from the pool, watch the boats, this is perfect!

I agree; we had a Bay Lake view at CR last month, and the view was absolutely gorgeous! Much prettier than the basically parking-lot view you get on the other side. Hope the crowds at MK weren't too insane while you were there. Just saw some pics taken by others this week and ... yikes!

We went down to the lounge to check out the snacks. They had crab cakes and spring rolls for the two hot appetizers. Then they had some little lobster rolls and various vegetables and dips. 3 wines (chardonnay, white zin, merlot) and the beers were Bud light, Sam Adams boston lager, Yingling, and Heineken. A nice selection of things to munch on.

Originally we were supposed to eat at Cape May tonight, but we canceled it since we aren't over there anymore. We might head over to Kona Cafe and see if we can get in without a reservation.

Forgot to mention, we went over to BLT and did laundry. According to the information in our room it was either there or in the South wing. The washer and dryers at BLT were both free. So that was nice!

Definitely walk It's not far at all, plus the monorail from here goes all the way around so it takes quite a long time.

Glad CR is working out so well. We love the bay lake view for CR CL - peaceful view from the room with a fun theme park view from the lounge. We did a BC/CR split a couple years ago and enjoyed switching it up during the trip!

And I agree - walk to MK! The walk is so quick and convenient - one of the best things about staying at CR!

Good luck with Olaf!!! Our youngest used his own money to buy one at the NYC Disney Store at the beginning of October and we thought it was an odd purchase at the time. We had no idea who Olaf was then! Turns out it was a great buy.

So sad to hear about Captain Cooks. Tikiman reported the rehab was delayed until April 9, so I was hopeful it would be open when we arrive on Monday.

It was definitely open tonight. I had heard April 9th and 20th. Not sure which is correct. I took a bunch of pics over there tonight as we walked around and checked everything out.

If we ever find an Olaf we will guard him with our lives!!!!
