I just finished watching this movie with my almost-15 year old daughter. I think every parent with teen girls should watch this movie with them. It gave me the opportunity to really thank my daughter for being such a good kid.

Even when she has her "teen moments", they're not even close to what the girl in the movie was.

I watch this with my 17 yr old dd last week, I think every parents of a teen dd should watch this also. I thanked my dd for being such a good and sweet girl.

DH and I watched it awhile back and it made us scared to have children =)

Really. It made us think and really discuss alot of things that we know we'll face in the future as parents... it was very eye-opening and an incredibly well done movie.

I think anyone with a GOOD teenager should always thank them!! AND Thank God!

I don't blame you for being afraid. I think sometimes we'd like to believe that our kids will be little copies of ourselves - that they will think the way we do, etc. But they don't. They're separate people who have separate minds, and there's only so much we can do as parents to guide them the right way.

:D Glad to hear the movie is good. I just got it in today from Netflix and plan to watch it tonight ::yes:: .

I really liked the movie too. Definite see for those with teenagers. Could open up some good discussion.

Did you know, the supporting actress wrote the screenplay? It was based on her life.

Glad to hear its good I have been wanting to rent it. It is a good idea to tell your teens you are proud of them. I do often with my 2.
