Oh my GOD I have been thinking about MNSSHP all day so I'm so glad you posted this. I MISS IT SO MUCH. I went 3 times and yet it was just not enough.

Aww, I'm happy you got to fufill your princess dream with Elizabeth. That's soooo sweet. I took pictures with some kids too! I really didn't expect people to love my costume so much, so I was really flattered!

I know exactly how you feel with everyone calling you Belle, cause everyone was calling me Mickey! It was so funny, sometimes the CMs wouldn't even make a big deal about it, they would just say it like they were talking to their friend. Like "You can come into this line, Mickey." SO CASUAL. Ahhhh MNSSHP is the best.

hahaha I can just perfectly picture Gaston saying all that and acting like Belle is finally going to take his hand in marriage. SORRY Gaston.

The lighting blew my MIND! Everything looked so amazing and so different. The Kingdom really was transformed.

Jack came out at 8 o'clock! He was a little scraggly, tall, and had a bit of a long face for his character... but he acted and sounded JUST like the real Jack Sparrow.

He said I was very beautiful and asked why I was named Belle. He asked if I was named after a "bell" and if I ring bells all of the time. In that case I could be very useful on the ship! I wish I remembered more details from this conversation because it was just hilarious. But basically I got hit on by Captain Jack Sparrow. It was my 7th grade dream come true!

Gotta love him.

Oh my God, reading that was pretty hilarious! Ya just gotta love Jack. I am so glad he'll be out at the Christmas Party when I go in just a few short days!

Then Gaston came marching over and he saw me waiting for him. He was like, "AH she's waiting for me! Just like it should be!" (Riiiight Gaston. )

He said to me, "I knew you'd be back! I've been waiting for you all night." And he told his photopass photographer, "She's finally come to her senses!"

Clearly he was very happy to see me. But I mean, I wasn't amused because I just don't deserve him! Obviously.

Sorry Gaston, I'm not coming back to you. But it was wonderful and hilarious to meet you! The character interactions on this night were GOLD.

Gaston may be the size of a barge, but as for his brain, well...not so much. I can't believe he thought you were actually Belle! As soon as this TR started, I thought "I wonder what Gaston's gonna think of Jess' costume?" Again, another hilarious character interaction!

I have to agree with you, the character interactions that evening were truly outstanding!

Totally unrelated, but I was looking through some old pictures and found something that made me think of you:

A DEER!!!!!

I was talking a walk through a park nearby where I used to live and came across a deer. Actually it happened several times in that park, but this was the only time I had a camera with me. It just crossed the path about 20 feet in front of us.

They really were! I was beyond impressed. All of the best characters were out!

Thank you so much! My aunt's mom made it for me actually. I hope you get to go soon! And yes, Disney costumes make the experience SO much better. My friend went as Mary Poppins and her boyfriend went as Bert and they had an amazing time as well!

Chapter 6: Mickey and Minnie TIMES TWO!
October 5th, 2012

Since it's Mickey and Minnie's Birthday today... I thought it would be appropriate to post an update all about them. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICKEY AND MINNIE! I can't wait until you guys are my bosses!

We made our way up Main Street USA and went into Town Square Theatre. The line for Mickey and Minnie was only 5 minutes, so we hopped right in!

I took this picture with a book because, since I am Belle, I OBVIOUSLY love books! And we didn't know it at the time, but it serves as a great example of foreshadowing...

We got in the pre-loading room and the character attendant in the asked me, "So.. how was Gaston?"

I was like "Oh he was good! That's so funny - I just met him! How'd you know that?"

And he was like "I follow you on twitter!"

Hahaha it was too funny! His name on twitter is Crushinat0r. I had no idea he was a Character Attendant! I knew he worked at Disney but I didn't know where.

All of the other cast members were all confused about how we knew each other. They just didn't understand. The Disney twitter community is pretty close-knit, so it's really cool that we could meet and just become friends on the spot! The whole situation was hilarious and it was great to meet so unexpectedly!

He brought us to meet Mickey and Minnie, and right before we went in the room, he asked me "Do you want to meet Mickey and Minnie in their other costumes, too?" Ummm... YES! ABSOLUTELY! He told us to wait at the exit when we were done.

ANOTHER INSTANCE OF PERFECTION!

The first Mickey and Minnie we met were in their witch and magician costumes. They were both precious and they told me I looked very pretty. How sweet!

We took some pictures and waited at the exit. Then our new character attendant friend took us backstage and we were put at the end of the line to meet Pirate Mickey and Princess Minnie!

I am so incredibly grateful that we had to meet both sets of Mickey and Minnie's because this was one of the most incredible character interactions of my entire life.

Mickey and Minnie LOVED me. Mickey walked me over to this big story book and pointed to it, telling me to read it out loud.

Minnie sat on the floor and Mickey joined her.

They listened to me read them all about magician assistant qualifications and magic spells. Very important stuff! They were so cute and every time I read off a bullet point they reacted. AHHH it was the most adorable thing.

They clapped at the end. It was SUCH a magical moment!!!

After the interaction, Crushinat0r messaged me on twitter and he said that Mickey and Minnie were wondering if I could send the pictures to them. Absolutely!! I was so flattered that Mickey and Minnie wanted pictures with ME! It clearly was a fantastic character interaction for all of us.

After that presh-fest, I did some pin trading in the dump shop and ran outside to see HalloWishes!

I LOVED that the Haunted Mansion narrator narrated the whole thing. What a BRILLIANT idea on Disney's part. He's the voice of anything spooky, let's be honest.

I was loving this!

The fireworks were just AWESOME. They surrounded us. And there was hardly anyone there - Main Street seemed so empty!

That is really really funny that the CM not only follows you but checked Twitter right before you ran into him. LOL.

How did Mickey & Minnie tell you that you were pretty? I love their adorable little gestures! Sometimes it takes me a second to figure out what they mean though hahaha. Frump.

OMG I'm so happy to read about this for two reasons 1. As soon as I saw your pics on FB and I saw you reading to them I was like THIS IS GOING TO BE THE CUTEST STORY EVER, and 2. When I was 5, the first time I met Mickey, my parents and I were guided into a totally separate area that was supposed to be like Mickey's dressing room, and it was a special, private M&G... and for years I could not figure out how we got to do that! My parents didn't remember either, but I guess it was just a bit of pixie dust! Is it supposed to be like a CM-only M&G or a VIP experience or something? I'm still confused as to why there's a secret M&G area. DISNEY UNDERCOVER. lol.
