The Most Expensive Free Trip Ever - TR Link is Up! Pg. 164

30 days! Wowzers! You know I've never seen Yee-haw Bob?

Bob's show is so much fun....you have to catch it sometime!

Me? Unsubscribe from your PTR?! Are you kidding me?! I'm ALWAYS reading. You can count on that :thumbsup2

That's good to know! But I've almost accidentally hit "unsubscribe" when I meant to click on "last page" from my User CP page. I don't know why...I guess because they're kind of close together.

This means only 30 days until he has a chance to nudge up that 167,600 score, right?? I'm skerred!! ;)

Yes, and I'd like to know what I need to nudge it to. Jenbear?

30 day!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Time has flown fast! How exciting! :goodvibes

There's so much going on on the homefront that I haven't been thinking too much about what I need to get done for the trip. Although I did arrange for Magical Express yesterday.

And since you put 3 scared smilies up, I wasn't going to share this but....

and Liesa will love this,

last weekend I dreamt that I was at Disney and I forgot to print out my Master Plan spreadsheet, so I had nothing to go by. I woke up and was thinking about what I'd do. Well, I pretty much have memorized what parks each day, so no biggee. The bigger issue was I didn't know my ADR times, but I thought I could call WDW Dining and get my times and ADR numbers.

But why am I even thinking through this scenario?? Must be the one-month-out panic. :scared1:

Wow, 30 days. So do we talk about bags and shoes yet?:rotfl2:

Actually I bought a new camera bag that is part camera bag and part backpack. I'm not sure that I like it because the backpack portion is kind of small and the camera portion doesn't fit my camera very well -- at least I haven't figured a good way to configure the dividers. I was thinking about returning it but I may be running out of time for that.

30 days - yahooo!

Yep! :cool1: Thanks for the dancing banana V!

And we will be running, running, running right up to the moment we leave.

Aww, what a great update! I'm really impressed that you stayed through three shows, that's a good dad! Those pictures you got were pretty good, shutter lag be darned.

Hey, why don't you go ahead and get all girly on us and post a pic of your new bag - I'm looking for one for my camera, too.

Okay, I'm off to lunch. Thinking about having a bowl of Lucky Charms for some reason;)

It's easy to make that mistake. JUST DON'T WITH MY THREADS!

Yes, yes I know I haven't revealed whether or not I've raised the bar on my most recent play of TSM. The big reveal is coming... I promise. Hopefully before you leave, Glen. I'm trying to make the reveal in my next TR. If I don't get to it, you'll be sure to know it before you leave.. just in case there's an untouchable high score to beat :rolleyes1

Thanks Rebecca. So when does that "Dad of the year" ballot happen? It's been like 5 years and I still haven't heard anything about my award.

Well I don't know about a picture....I think it'd be more manly to just post a link ---> here. I got a Tamrac Adventure 7, in red.

Okay, I'm off to lunch. Thinking about having a bowl of Lucky Charms for some reason;)

Sounds good to me!

Never!

Yes, you better at least PM me before I leave if you don't get to it on your TR. Gotta have a target! :3dglasses

CAN.NOT. WAIT for Bob's show!!! What a fun time it promises to be!

Secondly, you're saying that I've been having the one month panic for like 10 months?? Am I really THAT neurotic??!!!

You're gonna love it.

Well....if the shoe fits. :confused3 Have you had more than one dream?

You have NO idea! Seems like every night, some attaction is closed or we miss an ADR, or ..... you name it.

By the way, I just found out IaSW will be closed for my trip!! :scared1: For real. Are they ALL going to come true?

I saw that. (Wouldn't bother me though....no flames please.) However Captain EO will be open in place of Honey I Shrunk the Audience, but maybe that's a dream in itself.

OK, I won't flame you, but I was sad. I can't resist those evil little dancing dolls at least once in a trip. I mean they ARE a trip!!

As is MJ. That is the stuff nightmares are made of.

Yes, they are a trip. Sorry you won't get to see them this time.

From MGM we headed over to Downtown Disney in order to do a little shopping and to get some dinner. On the bus, James asked a lady sitting nearby if she had had her Jedi training yet. She said, “What?” :confused3, and we had to explain to her what he was talking about.

When we got to Downtown Disney, the kids enjoyed the fountains.

We ate dinner at Earl of Sandwich, walked around Downtown Disney, did a little shopping, and then went back to MGM to catch Fantasmic!

Sorry, these pictures are pretty poor, but they’re the best I could do with that camera.

100_0563.jpg

It’d be neat to see how they create and control this fire on the water. I assume it’s propane?

This camera just can’t quite get a good picture of victorious Mickey on top of the mountain, but at least we tried.

This is another great show at Disney and is a “must” if you’ve never seen it. I’ll always remember being amazed at watching moving pictures projected onto a water fountain when I saw it for the first time in 2001. Disney magic at its best!

After Fantasmic! we went back to the resort to hit the hay.

Thus endeth day 7 of the Flashback 2005 PChef WDW trip.

That's a sweet innocent, child-like question- LOVE IT!

We ate dinner at Earl of Sandwich
Your receipt doesn't tell you what KIND of sandwiches you ate?? :confused3

Sorry, these pictures are pretty poor, but they’re the best I could do with that camera.

Another POC tragedy. With a camera that's only like 4 square inches how could anyone do any better?

It’d be neat to see how they create and control this fire on the water. I assume it’s propane?

Hmmmm... I wonder...

Don't they do something like that at LMA!? Any hints from that show?

Still waffling on whether to see it or not. I basically have one shot - the night of the 2nd (arrival). We'll see...

Thus endeth day 7 of the Flashback 2005 PChef WDW trip.

That sounds downright Biblical.

i do love the fantasmic show, great when the boat at the end comes out thats my favorite.

That's a sweet innocent, child-like question- LOVE IT!

It was. He was eager to talk to anyone and everyone about his Jedi training.

I have no receipts for a 3-day span here. ( I'm flyin' blind!) I remember eating at EoS before our trip last year, and it was most likely this trip rather than 2001, and this was our only time at Downtown Disney this trip, so....it had to be.

Another POC tragedy. With a camera that's only like 4 square inches how could anyone do any better?

Exactly. It was doing the best it could.

Hmmmm... I wonder...

Don't they do something like that at LMA!? Any hints from that show?

Yes, although I don't remember if they say how they do it.

Still waffling on whether to see it or not. I basically have one shot - the night of the 2nd (arrival). We'll see...

Which side of the fence are you straddling?

Have you seen it before? If not, you must. If you have....well, maybe not.

That sounds downright Biblical.

Good, you read it with the proper amount of reverence.

You are the king of the ninja-poster's Faunt!

That is a great part of the show. I also love Mickey on top of the mountain with fireworks shooting out of his hands.

Well, he has the moves! We've seen it more than once this trip!

Better than flying by the seat of your pants.

Exactly. It was doing the best it could.

Consider yourself lucky for getting what you got.

Yes, although I don't remember if they say how they do it.

I'm skipping it (again), so you'll have to go back and find out yourself.

Which side of the fence are you straddling?

Have you seen it before? If not, you must. If you have....well, maybe not.

Squarely in the middle. Haven't seen it, and probably should, but if I"m too tired from travel, I'll skip it. Besides I only have a POC too.

Good, you read it with the proper amount of reverence.

:worship::worship: It was awe-inspiring at the very least.

Great updates!! DS thought the pics of your kids getting Jedi training were "awesome".

We STILL have never been able to catch a Fantasmic show. This trip is THE ONE. We can't miss it again!

Okay, you're laying it on pretty thick.

Great updates!! DS thought the pics of your kids getting Jedi training were "awesome".

That's great! Your little padawan is at just the right age, and they do it all the time now, not just for Star Wars Weekends. I think they use a standby line now -- you don't have to get picked out of the crowd (but you have to wait in line).

We STILL have never been able to catch a Fantasmic show. This trip is THE ONE. We can't miss it again!

Yep. You gotta go.

I always wondered that, too. I s'pose we could ask BP...

:rotfl2: Oh that's bad! Why is "Smoke on the Water" playing in my head?
