I am SOOO impressed that James spoke up, stood his ground and wanted to keep waiting without throwing a fit. And then the bonus prize of all 3 kids getting chosen!

Yes, he did a good job in making his wants known, and no fit was involved! It was definitely a magical moment!

Time delays on the camera suck. And to make it worse, you get (I mean I get) so busy trying to take the picture and worrying about the delay, I'm not actually watching. I've moved to video for stuff like that and just let the camera run...if it turns out great, I can always pull a still out of it but that way I'm not missing stuff.

You are exactly right. I think the only way to stay "in the moment" is to stop trying to "capture the moment" every time. But this one was too good not to capture.

Isn't it a gift when you can collect yourself enough to step back and allow yourself to be trained? I think that's the hardest part. Kudo's to you for listening.

I remember the Sleestacks, but that's about it. I didn't watch that one too much.

I was high on Capt. Crunch and Lucky Charms. My other (still) personal favorites. although, now I feel like a wise switch would be to Raisin Bran.

I was hankering for some Apple Jacks a couple of months ago, so got a box for the first time in probably close to 30 years. Guess what....they are completely different than I remember. I think they went and changed the recipe to take all of the good-but-bad-for-you stuff out of them.

Yeah, sometimes the store brands are the exact same thing as the name brand, but just put into a different box when produced. And sometimes.....they're not.

Oh my. I was going to write that I had never heard of Lidsville. But I just went to wikipedia, and I do remember it. I didn't realize it was a follow-up to H.R. Pufnstuf. I recently saw a little bit of an old H.R. Pufnstuf episode, and those shows have not held up. I would be embarrassed to show those to my kids and tell them that I used to watch them. They would be like
