The Most Expensive Free Trip Ever - TR Link is Up! Pg. 164

I just loved that last update! James' mind is obviously somewhere in a galaxy far, far away! How totally fun for all three of them! Those little special things stay with them forever. My 2 little ones asked to be the conductor's helper on the train and got to say, "All aboard!". They talked about it for days, and in fact, Anara brought it up just the other day again.

I wonder if James was borrowing some of his moves from his video game technique he used in Innoventions. :confused3

and my personal favorite....

Heh Heh! I'm going to have to use that one every so often. :thumbsup2

Oh, no....I just made the mistake of showing my DH your Star Wars Weekend posts. I scrolled down and he saw your smilies...I think he's googling "Jedi smilies" as we speak. I need to check your report when he's not around from now on!;)

Sorry about that.....but what's so bad about "Jedi smilies"? Your DH is welcome here any time.

I couldn't wait to post this installment! As I've said before, it was the highlight of the trip. (Which is another way of saying "I hope you enjoyed it -- it's all downhill from here".) :rotfl:

You are so right, it's those little things where the kids get to feel special. And somehow Disney finds a way to work a lot of them in, here and there. That's what it's all about. That's great that your kids have such a fond memory of that.

Who knows. He was supposed to be following the script of when to block, when to duck, and when to swing.....but then he dropped his light saber. :rolleyes1

Glad you like it! It should come in handy sometime. :thumbsup2

Nah, it's all about style. And he had it. He was lookin' guuuuuuuuuuuuud. :cool2:

I won't confirm or deny that perhaps a little Jedi mind trick might have been involved. "These are the kids you're looking for."

Oh I see! It took a little bit but it worked wonderfully :rolleyes1

Oh I forgot to add something... Am I the only one who finds the Ewoks a little more intimidating and scary than Darth Maul and Darth Vader together? :rotfl:

Ok, I see your point. They do look frightening like Care Bears- but, at least they aren't like Teletubbies, right?

Yep, a variation on a quote from Obi Wan in the first Star Wars movie, which was really Episode 4 but we didn't know it at the time, oh it's so confusing! :confused3

You didn't really think it was going to "take" did you?

But they are lovely and timeless Disney characters! Not extra-saccharin flavored characters from those silly 80's-90's cartoon shows! :rotfl:

And if you don't find them scary... Just imagine if I create an amusement park with characters from "Lidsville" and "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters"... Would you go in? Hehehe!

Fine! So they can make Mickey talk but they can't put marshmallows in my Dole Whip! Unbelievable! :lmao:

Those are after my time, although "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters" rings a bell. In my day it was the "Banana Splits" and it was set in an amusement park.

Then whatever you do don't google them! "Banana Splits" customs were cute! "Lidsville" and "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters" were only watchable by kids high on whatever chemical the Cocoa puffs and Rice Krispie had in the 70's!

You want marshmallows in your Dole Whip??
Of course! :woohoo:
.... You don't? :scared:

Um, no.

I am SOOO impressed that James spoke up, stood his ground and wanted to keep waiting without throwing a fit. And then the bonus prize of all 3 kids getting chosen!

What a magical moment.

Time delays on the camera suck. And to make it worse, you get (I mean I get) so busy trying to take the picture and worrying about the delay, I'm not actually watching. I've moved to video for stuff like that and just let the camera run...if it turns out great, I can always pull a still out of it but that way I'm not missing stuff.

Well, it took James' little foot-stomping speech on the way to The Little Mermaid for me to realize how important it was to him. And to borrow an expression from GreatBiscuit, "I'm trainable".

Isn't it a gift when you can collect yourself enough to step back and allow yourself to be trained? I think that's the hardest part. Kudo's to you for listening.

What about the Sleestacks from Land of the Lost. My personal favorite!
Remember Will and HOlly?

I was high on Capt. Crunch and Lucky Charms. My other (still) personal favorites. although, now I feel like a wise switch would be to Raisin Bran. :lmao:

Tribilín, I think you need to be aware that DHS has become a danger zone for you, Lotso is the newest Toy Story character:

I think he is pretty cute, but he does look like a teletubby... :lmao:
