The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Chroma Key rocks! There is so much you can do with it.

GB - AMAZING. Seriously amazing!!!! Would that certain vacation video happen to be on YouTube for viewing?

And here I thought that was another name for a colonoscopy.

Yep, that's just how I woulda dun it.

This reply had me laughing out loud!!! From the colonoscopy to the smileys. :rotfl:

I didn’t mind her screaming; it actually made it kind of fun.
For this time on the ride, I was determined to keep my camera out and try to get some pictures of the ghosts, and hopefully the picture of ourselves. While we were waiting to board our elevator, the elevator-operator cast member started looking at Lauren in a really creepy way and I quickly tried to capture it. I love this picture even though it’s blurry!

The shutter was open for over a second to get enough light for that photo. That guy held that creepy look that whole time, but Lauren was too creeped-out to hold still. I wish I could make out his name on his nametag. I’d send in a “thank you” comment.

Here are a couple of shots of the ghosts while on the ride.

I'm a screamer as well and Joe loves to ride with me because of this! :rotfl:
He said it makes it even more fun.

Awesome CM interaction! He's totally creepy looking!!! LOVE IT! And wow, those are crazy cool pictures of the ghosts. :thumbsup2

Woot for free swag!

3. that's my final answer. 3 shots of Judy.

You beat me. However....

There were FOUR Judy's!

I'm caught up...good thing you have an index!! :faint: I thoroughly enjoyed the Hoopla pictures...made me wish we were up to it that night! It wasn't happening, but I wish we'd had a bit more stamina. Maybe next time...though I swear I want to avoid the summer as much as possible for the next few trips! I also laughed when you were talking about the Jedi Academy master - he was the same one we had, and he used some of the same jokes. He was great.

I agree - ice cream as a meal is pretty awesome! I'm not surprised everyone was asleep quickly when you got back - you guys had a long, hot day! R&R is still on my list of things to do...I had a chance a few years back on the single rider line and opted out (don't know why - I enjoy roller coasters!).

Can't wait to see what your second full day brings...you've already done quite a lot!

I missed the update (Mark's company had an event last night). Love the "ghost" pics and the CM with your daughter -- very good. Ice cream is a great substitute for dinner. :)

And I love the family photopass pic.

I just hated the takeoff.

It is a wee bit faster than you'd like...which is a good thing in a thrill ride.

You break your days up into manageable bites. :thumbsup2 I do the same thing.

Yep. I don't think the remaining days will require 9 chapters per day to tell the story, but who knows, I haven't even started to think about the next one yet.

Haha, Hi there! Really enjoying your report.

Well hey there, FormerLumberjill and :welcome: Thank you!

...It might be creepy that I know this, but the bellhop in that photo's name is Darren. My friend and I used to ride Tower A LOT!

I don't think it's creepy at all that you know his name. If you rode it a lot, it makes perfect sense. Did he give you some good creepy looks too?

Thanks for letting me know his name!

GB - AMAZING. Seriously amazing!!!! Would that certain vacation video happen to be on YouTube for viewing?

I'd watch it. popcorn::

I believe it!

Awesome CM interaction! He's totally creepy looking!!! LOVE IT! And wow, those are crazy cool pictures of the ghosts. :thumbsup2

It was great! At Disney, the "ride" begins way back when you enter the queue.

Thanks!

Woot for free swag!

The only thing better than free swag is free food!

You beat me. However....

We're getting waaarrmer.....thanks for playing. Yes, I said "thanks for playing"! This game can get tricky; I don't think you were playing back during the Sci-Fi Dine-In chapter, but there's a lesson to be learned there.

I'm caught up...good thing you have an index!! :faint: I thoroughly enjoyed the Hoopla pictures...made me wish we were up to it that night! I think your kids would have enjoyed it, but it was an older, and taller crowd, so they may have had a hard time seeing. It was a lot of fun, but there was a price of inconvenience to be paid in the form of standing, getting squished, and sweating.

I also laughed when you were talking about the Jedi Academy master - he was the same one we had, and he used some of the same jokes. He was great.

They definitely had more, and better, jokes than when James did it back in '05.

Who doesn't like ice cream?

You definitely need to get on RnRC next time! It's a great ride.

Can't wait to see what your second full day brings...you've already done quite a lot!

Tell me about it, I'm tired just from writing about it. I didn't put "exhausting" in the title for nothing!

I missed the update (Mark's company had an event last night). Love the "ghost" pics and the CM with your daughter -- very good. Ice cream is a great substitute for dinner. :)

No problem...you are welcome to pop in/out whenever you can.

Thank you! I'm really happy with the ghost pictures, but I love the creepy CM picture...it's more of a captured memory for me.

Fabulous night at DHS. Trill rides and ice cream for dinner what could be better? Wonderful night photo pass pictures of the family. A nice did in the pool is the best way to get off the sweaty moist yuck you collect during the day. We used the showers down by the pool for the girls after our swims. Saved us on bathroom time. Lovely fountain shot.:thumbsup2

Hey Glenn!! sorry my reply was so short last night!! I had about 3 nanoseconds on the computer and needed to post and run.

That photo of the ToT guy and Lauren (?) was so creepy good! I wonder if acting needs to be on their CMs resumes when they hire???

I didn't know about the rock star wigs!!! That seriously was the first time I'd ever seen that!! MUST.DO!

GREAT family picture! Do you guys ever take a bad photo togeter???

Thank you! You're exactly right, a quick dip in the pool gets off a lot of the yuck. I just try not to think about that when I'm in it.

Are you kidding? I was surprised you posted at all...you have a little bit on your plate right now.

I've wondered that too. How do they know who would be good for what?

Still jotting down ideas, huh? That's great! I suppose it's too big for Tate.

GREAT family picture! Do you guys ever take a bad photo togeter???

Thank you! Yes, of course we do. I don't post those!

Hi. I've been reading your updates. I read your last TR too. I just don't post much. But since Jordan's gone I thought I'd come over here for a minute. :bored:

I'm an addict; what can I say!?

I've wondered that too. How do they know who would be good for what?

When I was hired, they asked me about my hobbies. I told them I liked cooking, so they stuck me in working in a restaurant. In a job that required no cooking whatsoever. :confused3

always! I have another idea for Tate in this area. ;)

Thank you! Yes, of course we do. I don't post those!

We should have everyone post their worst morning picture. Then we could say we really know each other.

:goodvibes I am here and very late. Good read so far- I got through the Potato head chapter and now it's time for bed.

Oopsie, since no one has chimed in since my original answer, I need to revise my first one. I missed her in the RnRC photo. It's 4.

Brook, Marv,Trib. where are you guys?!! I"m on the road- and shouldn't even be playing! :lmao:

:welcome: orangecats2! Thanks for reading! I'm missing Jordan too. I wish I had a "moping" smiley.

I'm an addict; what can I say!?

I know. Me too.

When I was hired, they asked me about my hobbies. I told them I liked cooking, so they stuck me in working in a restaurant. In a job that required no cooking whatsoever. :confused3

That sounds almost smart.

always! I have another idea for Tate in this area. ;)

Hmmmm.

We should have everyone post their worst morning picture. Then we could say we really know each other.

Great idea! You go first.

:goodvibes I am here and very late. Good read so far- I got through the Potato head chapter and now it's time for bed.

Jenny!!! :welcome: I'm glad you're here! Feel free to comment even on the older chapters. (I think I'm a chapter behind on your TR also.)

My answer is 5 Judy's !!!!Do I win !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yep! Rosie's on the board!

Since you obviously know your stuff, and weren't just guessing, I'm surprised you didn't tell everyone that the one they missed was Judy's leg and foot which are visible on the right side of the PChef swag picture.

Oopsie, since no one has chimed in since my original answer, I need to revise my first one. I missed her in the RnRC photo. It's 4.

Your second guess is also incorrect. Rosie won this round!

Brook, Marv,Trib. where are you guys?!! I"m on the road- and shouldn't even be playing! :lmao:

You call that playing?

Those are some CREEPY pictures from ToT. Amazing how they turned out. Don't sweat the TSM score. I know it's a tough score to beat :p Did you get another chance after that to try again?

Once again I am too late for the game... :confused3 Congratulations to Rosie!! :flower3:

I am really not scared by rides anymore, but I used to be for a long time (about until I was 30 or so...). And I know exactly how one ride might be great one year and than be really scary next year!

I love the bellhops who are creepy! I think once I had one who, when he sent us off in the elevator, had this creepy laugh. It was so funny! I once read/heard (possibly on the Keys to the Kingdom tour) somewhere that places like HM and ToT aren't the place you start at, but that these are usually people who transfer there from another place. Might make sense since then they would already know you. But I have seen very uninspired CMs at both places as well.

I love the fact that the park was open so late! This might be really worth the crowds and heat... I would love to spend a long evening at DHS!

Day 2 - Part 9
81 pages and we're not even at day 3 yet. Dang!

Would I be able to beat jenbear’s 179,200?
Keep yanking, Glenn. You'll get there. It's just a matter of time now.

yank yank yank yank yank yank yank

Just before we took off she said, “Oh, I’m a screamer.”
So many jokes. But...this IS a family board, so I'll leave it alone.

She was. And I can tell you that she enjoyed the ride.
:rolleyes1

Not saying a word...nope. Not me.

I didn’t mind her screaming; it actually made it kind of fun.
Must....keep....lip....bitten...

We hadn’t had any dinner (I sure don’t let that happen very often), so figured that ice cream would be a good substitute.
Ice cream for dinner???? I don't know if you're the world's best father, or the worst.

Hi glennbo! Great TR so far, of course...I've been away from the DIS for ages, and it's so nice to see you and your family again! :goodvibes
It's good to see you hanging around the TR boards again!

Nice evening at HS! I like to sing with the music on RnR! It really helps me forget about the ride! :rotfl2:

Love some RnR & ToT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That night shot of CSR looks really pretty! Can't believe I will be there in 2 days! See link below in siggie if you are intrested! :teeth:

Actually Glen the leg was easy !!!It was spotting the outfit in the distance behind the fountains !!!:rotfl2:The leg was again from the outfit !!!So when 4 was wrong I searched again !!!:thumbsup2Sad isn't it that we are sooooo excited about spotting parts of Judy!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
