The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

I'm not very good at the multiple quoting - but I am pretty good at random rambling - so here goes....

:rotfl2: Just a little work on that multiple quoting and you'll make a great DISer.

My youngest picked only mildest options available to us. So we waited in line for our turn to ride the roller coaster we built, crawled into our capsule and sat...... every once in a while we might tilt forward or backwards ever so slightly - but we didn't twist or roll or spin......we sat :rolleyes1 Even he was disappointed in it. Fortunately we had a nice CM at our door and he let us go again and plugged in one of the pre-made choices for us.

That's pretty funny. How nice that a CM let you go again, with a little better ride.

Mission Space - before we started bringing a friend along with the boys (so we would have even numbers) I would ride the Orange side with them while DH would go get fastpasses somewhere. He rode Orange once (I think back when that was the only option there was). I discovered I can ride Orange once in any given day. If I try to ride it a 2nd time in a 24 hour period there will be some sitting down and re-grouping afterwards. Now we bring a 4th kid and I go on the Green side. (Which it really should be the other way around - because more people turn green  after the Orange side than they do the Green side)

Yes, orange is once only, even for me.

Yeah, maybe they do have those colors backwards!

Leaving Magic Kingdom before opening.....It would be my luck that that would be the day that I hustle everybody out the door to make it to MK by rope drop so we can get a lot done before the fastpasses are gone, and a lot of people get there - only to find the park already full....and people leaving already

I hear you. But...the one thing on the side of all of those unsuspecting people was that the fastpass machines didn't start until park opening.

And as for the dip - thanks for your research. If Mark (otherwise known as "youngest son") insists on me making it, I will send him on the mission to get a more accurate recipe than the original answer that he got.:thumbsup2

No problem. Let me know if you get more info. and want to try again.

Loving your report - sounds like you all have a lot of fun together (minus Judy's yucky MS after-effects)

Thanks. We do have fun. :grouphug:

I know, I know. I blame the whole "going to Disney" thing and the "3rd Birthday" dealy-o. My priorities are way outta wack. ;)

Okay, those are pretty good excuses. This time.

I missed Marv's case for a 3rd. I think he's just making it up, jealous. ;)

I haven't heard where that third one is hiding yet.

I also felt sick after the orange side of mission space. Then the next time we went I did the green side and was fine.
DH loves Biergarten. I mean really loves it. When you ask him about his favorite things at WDW are the first thing he says is Biergarten. He thinks its an attraction unto itself. :)

First of all, GREAT meet photo's! I saw them the other day but realized I forgot to comment!

That picture of you LEAVING MK is wild, kind of a cool opening show photo though!

We had the same question, east or west on our trip for Sum of all Thrills, annoyed me to no end that things aren't called out without having to go all the way in and ask.

Poor Judy! That's such a bummer. We have a very similar pic from our trip though, Evan wanted to do it again but I think we were on the move for some reason.

it still cracks me up

It really does look like she is picking his nose!

what is it with being stranded on water rides....

Sorry I haven't been able to post much lately. I feel like I've gotten so far behind. I'm really envious you got to meet so many great DISers at the DC meet and I couldn't make it. Things have really picked up at work, and it appears that will continue into the spring with a huge project I'm working on. If I were the kind of person who would post messages while at work, there wouldn't be very much time anymore to do that. Of course, that isn't the reason my posts have dropped off considerably lately. :rolleyes1

With school back in full swing, and sports the same, my evenings have gotten tied up quite a bit too. Andrew is playing REC soccer (his club team doesn't have a team his age this fall) and running Cross Country for his school. Even though he is still in Middle School, his times have been good enough that he is the first alternate for the HS varsity team. He ran his first 5k Monday because one of the varsity runners was hurt. Although he is much smaller than most of the runners he is going against, and has to overcome having the shorter stride, he did pretty well Monday and came in 56th out of 100 runners. He gets to run his second meet this Saturday in a really large event that draws teams from all over the state, and other states, along with competitions for many college teams also.

Okay, so much for the fatherly bragging....now on to the TR responses.

Marvin, Marvin, Marvin. :sad2:
Hey, I saw the TR update and nobody had posted yet, so I took a quick look and wanted to get in a guess before somebody else had a chance. Alison needed to get on the computer and record grades for her students, so I didn't get but one quick shot at it....... (yeah I know, weak....very weak)
Believe me, I rolled that piece of information around in my head and decided that less is more.
Wise choice! :thumbsup2
I believe 2 is the correct answer, although I see that Marvin is making a case for a third. I'm not sure where that might be, but I could have missed one. Right now, you're the winner of this round's points, pending Marvin's appeal.
I thought there was 2, which were Judy's shoes while she and James were on "Sum of All Thrills", but I could be wrong...where do you think the third one is? I see a red-shirted person in a reflection in one of the "Sum" pictures, but it's not her....I took all of those pictures while we were waiting for her and James to go through the line and design their coaster ride.
I haven't heard where that third one is hiding yet.
Okay, the third one I was referring to was indeed the reflection in the glass. There were already others who had guessed two, so there wasn't much point in repeating that guess. It looked enough like her that I figured I would give it a shot. Obviously you have already addressed that this was yet another wasted guess in this round for me!:sad2:
Good job! You get the runner-up to Honerable Mention award. :rotfl:
This is why I took the shot on there being three Judy's in this round. I could have also said two and been what, the "Distant third to the runner up of the honorable mention..." :confused3 Hollow victory at best.....
mmm so did yours have a little bit of liesas armpit hair in yours.
:lmao:
Actually, Liesa is her own woman and uses her feet instead of her armpits, so Glenn can only find "foot hair."
I missed Marv's case for a 3rd. I think he's just making it up, jealous. ;)
:worship: No, not jealous......just sadly pathetic. :sad1:

BTW Glenn, after stating that searching for Judy parts wasn't somewhere you wanted to go, I think it is safe to say this round of Where is Judy-do has followed that very path......

I also felt sick after the orange side of mission space. Then the next time we went I did the green side and was fine.

Well, that's good that you were okay with the Green side. Isn't it funny how just a little bit more intensity can affect you?

We love Biergarten too. We went last year and it was one we wanted to repeat! I like that: "an attraction unto itself". :rotfl2:

First of all, GREAT meet photo's! I saw them the other day but realized I forgot to comment!

No problem...I do that too. Sometimes I just have time to look, but not comment, and then forget to go back and comment. Oh, and thanks!

That picture of you LEAVING MK is wild, kind of a cool opening show photo though!

Not something you see everyday.

We had the same question, east or west on our trip for Sum of all Thrills, annoyed me to no end that things aren't called out without having to go all the way in and ask.

Preach it! I'm with you.

We have a very similar pic from our trip though, Evan wanted to do it again but I think we were on the move for some reason.

Oh yes! I forgot about it, but I've definitely seen that before. So funny!

It really does look like she is picking his nose!

It's been done a million times but it's still funny.

what is it with being stranded on water rides....

I don't know what it is with our luck on those little boat rides.

Sorry I haven't been able to post much lately. I feel like I've gotten so far behind. I'm really envious you got to meet so many great DISers at the DC meet and I couldn't make it. I know what you mean. No problem, post when you can. And read when you can't. ;) Good luck with the project.

Congrats to your son! It sounds like he's an awesome Cross Country runner!

Hey, one paragraph isn't too bad. I know you could have gone on longer.

I actually get that! First post, speed is of the essence. A quick glance showed no Judy's -- quick post "Zero". Makes sense.

Then, when you find that's wrong, why post the same answer as has already been posted? You can't win that way.

You can play it safe, or you can go for the win. In earlier rounds you tasted "the thrill of victory". In this one however, it was the other half of that famous saying from "Wide World of Sports": "the agony of defeat". <picture Marv as a ski jumper in a horrific wipe-out>

Actually, Liesa is her own woman and uses her feet instead of her armpits, so Glenn can only find "foot hair."

In her defense, she did not make this batch of it. So if I find any, it's somebody else's.

BTW Glenn, after stating that searching for Judy parts wasn't somewhere you wanted to go, I think it is safe to say this round of Where is Judy-do has followed that very path......

I know, but it was just parts of her foot. Let's keep it that innocuous.

Hey, I've been there, but luckily you weren't around to get a picture.....:rotfl2:

Yeah, I can't imagine the look on her face at the next DIS meet when Rosie asks her how she feels about people checking out her body parts, or at least some of them....:scared1:

Hi Glennbo! I've been lurking on your a few of your tr's and I thought it's finally time to say hello! You guys are a great family and always look like you're having so much fun! What part of PA are you guys from? I'm originally from the Poconos and currently living in PA.

Who, me???:guilty:

I meant that you have lots of reason to brag.

Hey, I've been there, but luckily you weren't around to get a picture.....:rotfl2:

Dang.

Yeah, I can't imagine the look on her face at the next DIS meet when Rosie asks her how she feels about people checking out her body parts, or at least some of them....:scared1:

Oh, let's not.

Hi disneyj914! And :welcome: I thought I sensed a lurker. <-- aw, don't mind that, it was just a lame attempt at humor.

I'm glad you said hello and joined in. We're probably not too far from you; we're southwest of Philly, down in the corner near Maryland and Delaware.

Hey, Glenn! All caught up...school cuts into my DIS time WAAAAYYYY to much. ;) I'm pretty much at the rate of getting caught up on one thread about every other day. :scared1: But it's better than last week, when I wasn't on the DIS at all.

You guys look great in all of your red t-shirts. I still think the pictures in front of the castle look great. What a bummer that you didn't get to ride much, but I agree that it would've been great to walk out of the park and see all those people lined up for rope drop staring at you! :rotfl:

The D.C. meet looked like a ton of fun! We have an Indy meet this weekend and are excited about it. This is the third one we've had, and it's always been a lot of fun. Great that you got to hit one of the Smithsonian museums, too.

Poor Judy on the orange side of Mission Space! I rode that one for the first time this summer, but it was the green side. Was that on Monday? I think we were there, too, but we hit mostly the little kid Future World rides - Soarin', Nemo, Journey to Imagination, etc. Ok, maybe Soarin' doesn't count as a little kid ride, but it's always on Mom's to-do list!

I know what you mean Jen; glad you found some time to get back on. Once you get behind on a bunch of DIS threads, it's so hard to get caught back up again.

Hey thanks! I've gotten enough response from people that they'd love to walk out of the park at rope drop that I've decided that it must be a "human nature" kind of thing.

Oh yeah, I looked in on some pictures of your Indy meet one time....I think it was months in the past by the time I saw them though. Will you be posting pictures of this weekend's meet on your TR thread?

ETA: No, I imagine they'll be posted on the "Indy Meet" thread that's linked in your signature. Duh.

She did the Green side just fine last year, but this year the Orange side turned her green. Yes, we were there on Monday. It's been a while since we've visited Nemo and those places. We even skipped Soarin' this year to visit some different things.

ahh very true, that might also explain the redness on her big two, all the foot squishy ness to make glenns "rock"
:rotfl:
In her defense, she did not make this batch of it. So if I find any, it's somebody else's.

hmm would that be better to have someone elses arm pit hair you have never met in your "rock"

or better to have the feet hair of someone you have met in your "rock"

this is quite a stumbling block.
:scratchin

That does seem a little too coincidental, doesn't it! :scared1:

And I thought "what's the sound of one hand clapping" was a difficult question! This is a real stumper.

Yes the rocks were quite the conversation piece as we all thought "poo" to begin with !!Not sure the armpits made us feel any better !!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Awww! Poor Judy! But that was a big mistake... a major thrill ride before lunch??? *tsk tsk* :sad2: Not good!

I mean you could have had lunch at the Biergarten and THEN go to “The Gran Fiesta Tour" LOL! :rotfl:

Don't encourage it!

And remember -- it had a funky smell, so poo seemed like a logical guess. And armpit wasn't far off either.
