Well..just finished watching The Middle. Little disappointed that they didn't showcase the rides more. Also surprised that Fast Pass+ wasn't highlighted. Great new commercial for 7DM. I think my family will use the code word when we lose sight that we are supposed to be having fun.

Totally bummed I missed it. Hopefully it will be On Demand later. Love that show. :happytv:

I did notice that the Magic Bnds always seemed to be in frame. ;)

Yup me too! I liked the episode, just wish there was less going on in the beginning at home and more wdw and more rides. But the daughter totally reminded me of myself with the counting down the days and planning! Lol It was refreshing to see a new wdw sitcom episode and not the same Full House one every week lol.

I had never watched this show but DVR'd this episode and loved it. I thought it was hilarious they spoofed over planning, shopping, lines, etc.

Ironically even though everything that could go wrong went wrong for them it really made me want to plan another WDW trip!

My DH and I enjoyed the episodes. I felt it was one big commercial for WDW, but I was expecting that! I liked the still shots they showed at the end of the show - would've liked to have seen more of the rides myself.

Loved how she was planned like that. I felt like I was watching a real life version of these boards. :rotfl:

Weak, surprised that Disney Parks approved the script. I expected and don't mind the marketing tie in if done correctly.

They had plenty of opportunity to highlight the park, resort, MB's but instead 3 trips to first aid, fighting for a day, and showing long standby lines isn't something that Disney would like highlighted. :confused3

Agree - and if I recall, Space Mountain had a 50 minute wait for standby, but the line was way out the entrance to the attraction.

Overall, typical script for the show. Good show, always filled with mayhem. I enjoyed it.

Loved it! Anyone figure out what resort/suite they were in? Great line, "Sir, we have a garden view room booked, I would like nothing more than look out from my room see a garden" Brick: How lucky I'm I, I found a gift shop!

My family kept saying I am just like Sue!

My thoughts:

  • Definitely promoting Magic Bands
  • Surprised they showed such long lines
  • Got people excited about possibility of "watching fireworks from the window"
  • Could have used Cinderella's suite but intentionally chose an actual room that could be reserved
  • Seemed like the parks were a little busy compared to when they film other shows there
  • Good at showing that parents and kids can enjoy Disney separately or together

We only DVR 3 tv shows and The Middle is the fav of the whole fam.
Watch it every Wed.
We loved it.
(But the "role playing" scene in Paris was weird).

Do you normally watch the show? I don't know think the show would of worked at all, especially as a season finale had they just done it as a wonderfully happy commercial for the resort. That is not the Heck family and it's the reason that I believe so many regular families can relate to them in some way every week. What family hasn't been to "the happiest place on Earth" with a meltdown of kids, adults or a combination of the two?! Even though we have never (yet, thankfully) had a visit to the first aid we have had fighting and long standby lines. Thankfully every time it works out wonderfully though! Disney magic at it's best! :goodvibes

It made me laugh out loud, but I found myself giving them advice from my living room. It was the Heck Family, they couldn't do it any other way.
Brick is starting to get on my nerves and I do watch the show every week.
It was fun.
