I have to admire the dedication of our local TV meteorologists. They are sticking to the record highs they have been pitching for over a week. Weather Channel now says Christmas will be cloudy and 61. This will be fun to see who is the closest.

Jim, it's supposed to be 77F tomorrow and 75F on Christmas Day here in Titletown. I'm hosting 14 folks (including me) here on Thursday. Will I need to flip the thermostat to A/C to cool the house with all those people in it?

I think I'll have to wear shorts and a Mickey tee.

So Christmas turned out to be closer to the Weather Channel's prediction. Overcast and low 60s. Still much better than average. Yesterday was the crazy day (another one this season). Record high of 77 yesterday afternoon. 12 hours later, it was 17 and incredibly windy.
