The MCLOVINS Hit the World - HARD!!!!! *COMPLETED*

Yep, it's overpriced but I mean, it's Disney food. We're used to it. To me it's more paying for the overall experience than like individual pot stickers.

Your grandparents' place sounds awesome! I want to visit China so bad. My friend's aunt goes there all the time and brings back the coolest things for him and the most delicious tea.

Well the thing with Chinese places in America is that a lot of them use this food additive called MSG that is supposed to add flavor but really it just adds disgustingness. And if your food is good naturally, you don't NEED to add some chemicals to it to make it taste good. It makes a lot of people sick and you don't know if they use it until you actually try the food. Hence why it is hard to find a good Chinese place. Hope that cleared it up a bit for ya ;)

Ok, I still haven't seen last night's episode caused I rented Orphan. GREAT MOVIE, btw!! Superb acting and not bad directing. Well, superb by the the main little orphan girl. Just incredible. Andrew and I fell for that character.

Ohhhh, MSG. I've heard of it. My friend says it stands for "MMmm, so good". Yeah, I hear it's really bad for you though. I guess you have to watch out for that.

I know, it's so awesome like how quickly we just clicked b/c of our mutual love for Disney, and just think, if it wasn't for the DIS, we probably would never even meet in our entire lives. So weird.

If I ever have enough money that I can book 17 nights at the Grand Floridian, i'll be inviting every person I know, so don't you worry about that! ;)

I'll PM you a picture :)

YAY!! Boardwalk Empire!!! I'm so glad you are taking time to watch it. And yes it is very UNDisneyish. Unless Disney is taking a new direction that involves the mafia. Which I think I'd like actually.

OK OMG GLEEGLEE. Well actually I was underwhelmed by the Season 2 premiere. For anyone reading this, Glee spoilers are coming!!! So stop reading!! Ok. Was it necessary for Artie to rap, not once but twice. Why use crappy songs like Billionaire and Telephone!!?!?!?!? Ahhhhhh. Thank GOD there was a Rachel solo at the end or I would have died. Lea Michele has a FLAWLESS voice and she is my favorite part of the show besides the HBIC Sue who by the way did not have enough good lines. She still was the best thing though. AND WHERE THE F IS EMMA. I live for Emma and Will!! As far as the new kids go, not crazy about the girl that was sent to the crackhouse, but the blond football player I enjoy. Just wish he'd sing something better than BILLIONAIRE. I think my favorite part of the episode was Quinn outsmarting Sue and walking down the hallway like the fierce head cheerleader she IS, omg. But way to show teens that having a baby in high school will not affect your life in any way. LOL what an example. Oh and the whole thing with the manly football coach is not funny.

OMG THOUGH. THE NEXT EPISODE. BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY BRITNEY OH MY GOD THAT LIKE 10 SECONDS THEY SHOWED WAS SO EPIC, ALREADY MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF ALL TIME.

Anyway back to Disney. God, I can't believe I've never been to Ohana. That's actually where I *wanted* to get pot stickers, but we couldn't get an ADR and I didn't know anyone there to weasel us in like at Le Cellier ;)

Oh man, I hate when people can't resist the urge to make out with their S.O. while at Disney. If I wanted to see that kind of thing I would go to Universal or something.
I actually just posted my big, long review on my Tumblr here and yeah, I pretty much felt the same way you did. The whole Will and Sue do stupid stuff to make Coach Bieste feel bad storyline was dumb. I did like Coach Bieste though. Althought that might just be because she was the gym teacher on Lizzie McGuire so I'm predisposed to like her. I mean, Lizzie McGuire is one of my favorite shows ever. But yeah, what was up with no Emma? I missed her. And Finn's Cheerios try-out was one of my favorite scenes ever. Obviously.

OMG. I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR TUESDAY!!! AHHHHHH!!! I just hope that we don't have another city-wide power outage, because if I don't get to watch that episode live I will flip my...um...pancake.

Girl, you must eat at 'Ohana. Must. It is too good to be missed. And now I'm craving a big hunk of steak served to me off of a skewer. Why can't I hire the chefs from 'Ohana to come cook at my house?

Ohhhh, that sounds so good! Makes me really want to try it for next time now. MMMmmm, steak.

Before I do my replies, oh my god you guys. I know there are Gilmore Girls fans on my TR b/c we have discussed it in the past so I must share the adventures/misadventures of moi. Today I was on set with Rory's rich blonde BF Logan. His name is Matt in real life. Anyway, even though he was my least favorite of Rory's boyfriends (Favorite order is 1. ***JESS*** BEST EVER 2. Dean 3. Logan), I still love him and I was a bit giggly. I'm working on the same show the rest of this week and part of next so hopefully I can seduce him. Any ideas? Let me know.

Ok let's move on.

Yak and Yeti. It's on my short list pf places to try next time around (which, at this point, might not be until 2035).

I love reading your updates each time. I usually read them when I'm at work and it helps break up the monotony that is my day.

Oh and I don't like Glee or Jane Lynch.

There, I said it.

:rolleyes1

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words. It really makes me happy that my TR makes a difference in people's days, no matter how small. (:

Glee is not for everyone. I understand this because sometimes it is so horrible that I can't believe they get away with it. But there are these, moments where they get it completely right and magic happens. That's my opinion, anyway. ;)

Ok, I still haven't seen last night's episode caused I rented Orphan. GREAT MOVIE, btw!! Superb acting and not bad directing. Well, superb by the the main little orphan girl. Just incredible. Andrew and I fell for that character.

Oh God, my mom made me go see that with her last summer. Wasn't crazy about it. But I agree, the little girl who played the orphan was fantastic. There are good child actors and then there are good actors who just happen to be children, and she's definitely the latter.

I actually just posted my big, long review on my Tumblr here and yeah, I pretty much felt the same way you did. True story: I still watch Lizzie McGuire, not that infrequently either. God I used to be obsessed with it though. Finn's Cheerios try out was epic and made me crack up out loud, which didn't happen much on this episode, sadly.

If I don't get to Ohana soon I will probably die and that is a cold hard FACT. We're so going there like every weekend when you're a famous journalist and i'm a famous singer and dancer and actress. It is going to rock so just brace yourself now in preparation for the awesomeness. :cool2:

Just a little sidenote.

GreatBiscuit PM'd me and let me know ZZUB has started a new Trip Report!!! THANK THE HEAVENS!!!

It is here: http://zzubworld.blogspot.com/

If you like trip reports AT ALL... check it out.

ZZUB is one of the best trip reporters EVER. He and Mel (1000thHappyHaunt) are/were my FAVORITES. Since like.. 2005. The trip reporting days of yore. They both disappeared, though, sadly. But now ZZUB is BACK! I hope Mel gets her butt back here too. Cause i'm sure she and her crazy awesome clan have had like 239840984 amazing adventures since she was last here. Anyway you should look up her TRs too cause they are MINT, baby.

Oh and one more!!! Hucifer's TR from.. god, 2005 again? Maybe 06? Is one of my favorites and she recently completed another fantastic one here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=37846761 She kind of writes like me in that there are a lot of details and a lot of silly situations that somehow occur. Very very very funny lady and talented writer.

Check out all these TRs. You will not be disappointed.

And stay tuned to mine cause some major animal fun coming up. Since it IS, after all, called Animal Kingdom, and not Stuff-Your-Face-Like-An-Animal Kingdom.

That is all.

Over and out.

And all that.

:moped::moped::moped:

That's ok. We'll TRY not to hold it against you. No promises.

That's good to know. I'll just sleep with one eye open.

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words. It really makes me happy that my TR makes a difference in people's days, no matter how small. (:

I have watched it. I'm not one of those guys that doesn't like something with never having encountered it. It's just...I don't know. I'm not gonna hijack with my feelings on it. I will say, however, that I didn't much like Jane Lynch even when she was on Two and a Half Men, but I did enjoy her in Julie and Julia and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, so I'm not a true hater.

i just have to say you are hysterical. i read everything so far and i cant tell you how many times i have actually laughed out loud. especially the phoebe phalange comment because that is one of my favorite quotes from friends, which by the way i am equally obsessed with. i cant wait for more! hurry up!

Hmmmm...seducing Logan Huntzberger....you could always try stealing a yacht. I hear he likes that. ;)

I totally still watch Lizzie McGuire too! And whenever the movie is on the Disney Channel, I make sure to watch it. And sing along. HEY NOW! HEY NOW! THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF!

Mmmmm...weekend trips to 'Ohana sound wonderful. :thumbsup2

Glee is not for everyone. I understand this because sometimes it is so horrible that I can't believe they get away with it. But there are these, moments where they get it completely right and magic happens. That's my opinion, anyway. ;)
That is probably the greatest description of Glee I've ever read. Sometimes it's just downright bad and you're like "Ugh. Why the F do I watch this show?" and then the next scene/episode/storyline is pure magic and it's like, "And *that's* why I'm watching."

Two things just got me excited while reading your update..1) Yak & Yeti! You know I love it there. The pot stickers are yummy! 2) ZZUB started a new TR?! Have to go there. NOW.

YAY!! :welcome: :dance3:

Thank you SO much for all your kind words. It really means a lot to me that you guys love my report so much b/c I have such a good time re-living my trip while I write. I especially smiled big when you said it's like you're watching a sitcom... that is so awesome. THANK YOU.

You have raised your kids well! I love when kids say ma'am and sir. I NEVER say those things, but I wish I did. Here in NY/NJ we just yell "AY, YOU!" and maybe throw something to get the attention of others.

Oh dear. If I asked my dad about the truck thing not only would he have absolutely no idea what I was talking about, he'd be annoyed at me for even asking.

I'm so happy for you that you are going this fall!! I wish I knew for sure if I was, but it's still fun to share in the excitement of others.

Thanks again for all your awesome comments and :welcome: !!!!

Yay! Cause I hate when people just judge things without seeing it. I'm happy you see the light with Jane even if only in a few things. I think she's brilliantly funny and very talented.

i just have to say you are hysterical. i read everything so far and i cant tell you how many times i have actually laughed out loud. especially the phoebe phalange comment because that is one of my favorite quotes from friends, which by the way i am equally obsessed with. i cant wait for more! hurry up!

Hi! :welcome: Thanks for joining the party. Thanks for your sweet comments, I really appreciate it :goodvibes

Obviously, Friends is the best show ever, like that even needs to be said.

HAHAHA omg. About stealing a yacht... that is what I posted on my Twitter, as soon as he walked in the room. Cause I tooootally forgot that he was on the show i'm working on, and I was like sitting...bored...waiting for direction...yawn...bored...LOGAN F-ING HUNTZBURGER IS HERE?!?!?!??!?!!?

You have absolutely no idea how much I LOVE the Lizzie McGuire Movie. Like as much as I love the show...the movie... omg. I like, cry at the end of it. I could watch it over and over. It reminds me of being like 13 and going to see it at the movies with a bunch of friends. And then they all told me I looked like Hilary Duff and I was like ~omg~... even though I do not look like her. I think. Anyway besides the nostalgia I still reallyreally enjoy it so much and I LOVE the soundtrack too. I still listen to Hilary's music and watch her movies and I know so many people think she isn't talented, and yeah she isn't Judy Garland...like I give a crap. Still love her.

Yeah, Glee is like a see-saw. I mean moments like Somebody To Love, Don't Stop Believing, Vogue, Don't Rain On My Parade... all that stuff gives me chills. And even when it's so bad, the overall message is to be yourself and not let others bring you down which is why it will always be good as long as that doesn't disappear.

Two things just got me excited while reading your update..1) Yak & Yeti! You know I love it there. The pot stickers are yummy! 2) ZZUB started a new TR?! Have to go there. NOW.

THANK YOU.

p.s. DID YOU WATCH 30 ROCK. Because I loved it so much, especially hairy vacation Jack and SEXY JACK TRYING TO TURN ON THAT GAY GUY OMG but you know that's me. I cracked up during the entire thing minus the whole Pete and his wife sex joke. Usually I die laughing at Pete's comments on his pathetic life but that was just...icky.

Also, one of my friends worked on 30 Rock the other day and I was burning with jealousy. She did a plane scene at JFK with Alec and "the lady with the brown hair and glasses." :headache: I was like, THAT LADY'S NAME IS TINA FREAKING FEY AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT!!. Honestly I don't get excited to be with celebrities on set for the most part, like I just act like I don't care at all when I'm around them, but sitting on a plane with Alec and Tina? Maybe it's better that I don't get cast for these things. I would just die. DIE.

TOXIC

EVERYTHING ELSE

Toxic is just...gah. Quite possibly one of my favorite things Glee has ever done. And I LOVE the Brittany/Santana Me Against the Music. WHY ISN'T IT TUESDAY??????????

OMG. No joke, I still cry at the end of the Lizzie McGuire Movie too. I swear, we are long lost sisters or something. And I totally still listen to Hilary Duff's music. Just last night I was having a dance party by myself to Sweet Sixteen. :rotfl:

Of course I watched 30 Rock and it was AMAZING. :upsidedow Jack trying to turn on the gay guy made my life. I was dying. I also laugh hysterically anytime someone mentions Kabletown. It's really lame, but I always think about how it starts with a "K" and then I start crying from laughing so hard. I'm so weird. BUT OMG. YOUR FRIEND DIDN'T KNOW TINA FEY'S NAME???? HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THE NAME OF THE MOST AMAZINGLY AWESOME WOMAN IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE??? Gosh.

Ok, I just skimmed the above parts and saw "jack seducing gay guy", full britney songs, and lizzie mcguire movie.

I really need to watch more 30 rock. It's such a great show!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Britney. I've never not loved her. I can't wait for tuesday, omg!

I'm a huge Lizzie fan too! Still watch it when I catch it on tv. And the movie was SOOO good. Gordo and Lizzie are finally together! <3

OK I love how my TR has become TV fan central.. :happytv: I just watched the Grey's Anatomy premiere I missed last night cause of work, and I loved it. I think my favorite part was Lexie telling off Alex b/c I hate how cool he thinks he is. Lexie totally belongs with Mark. And I loved Meredith leaving Derek at jail. Strong women on that show.

GIRL. I COME BEARING GIFTS.

LOL omg you are not the only person to send me these, and I appreciate it so much, but I want to wait til after I see the episode!!!! But thanks!

I love Hilary's first album but I think I love her second the most.

Kabletown cracks me up too!! It always reminds me of Jack's idea for women's version of porn.

Video preview of next week's epsiode- john stamos! ahhH! http://tv.yahoo.com/blog/first-look-glee-does-britneys-me-against-the-music--1583

But anyway, back to your TR...Lia, I totally understand how you feel. I've been planning for a November trip that might not even end up happening. Sigh. Too bad all the DIS girls can't go on a trip together!

OMG thanks for posting!! It's almost too much for me that John Stamos is on the same episode as Britney. I am too excited for this, I just can't stand it!!!

Oh no, you're in the same boat as me :headache: I know it sucks, but all we can do is keep hoping and praying and who knows...maybe the dream that we wish will come true. :wizard: Sounds cheesy but ya never know.

We WILL make that girls trip happen someday!!

Ok, I just skimmed the above parts and saw "jack seducing gay guy", full britney songs, and lizzie mcguire movie.

Everyone needs to watch more 30 Rock. It hasn't even been 24 hours since the episode aired, and I've already seen it twice, and even I need to watch more 30 Rock!

I have been obsessed with her for the past 12 years and will never not be. (: Even when she was going through her rough times I never ever ever had a bad thought about her and I never will, she's really my idol. MTV even picked me as one of her biggest fans talk about her on Britney's Fans: For the Record which was so awesome =)

I totally believe Gordo and Lizzie are like married by now. They need to do a Lizzie McGuire movie part 2.

I KNOW YOU GUYS SAW GLEE. And omigawd, I DIED.

Seriously, I think they took my soul. I love Britney Spears so much! I need the CD NOW.

Britney(Glee one) is actually not a bad singer! And SUCH a great dancer too! Wow....blew my mind for reals. I love everything they did on this show.

I KNOW YOU GUYS SAW GLEE. And omigawd, I DIED.

Girl I don't know. Like I've said, I am the biggest Britney fan ever and her appearances were completely flawless and angelic and I screamed when I saw her and so on but I really didn't like the covers at all with the exception of Toxic. Don't like Heather Morris' voice at all and normally I find Lea Michele's performances to be drop dead amazing but I hated how she sang Baby One More Time. I also hated how the episode seemed rushed and stapled together so awkwardly. You guys couldn't come up with an actual storyline as opposed to people just getting drugged and dreaming about Britney? Sheesh.

The best part for me was, as usual, Sue Slyvester. Not sure if you heard, Will, but my spinal column was injured in a sex riot. Perfection.

The other thing I liked: THE RETURN OF EMMA!! I live for Emma/Will.

And of course, my lover, John Stamos was amazing.

Now that I think of it, I think Dianna Agron (Quinn) would have really rocked a Britney number. I do have to say though, Heather's body is SICK. Love it, jealous. So that part was good but IDK the show just isn't cutting it for me like it used to!!

Don't mean to be Debbie Downer LOL. Just my opinion!!

So I totally haven't been around here a lot lately because I've been completely overwhelmed with life, but I figured I'd drop by to share my Britney thoughts and, of course, you guys have already started. :thumbsup2

Lia, I agree. I was really underwhelmed. Like REALLY underwhelmed. The lack of plot upset me way more than it should have. I miss the days when Glee picked music that fit the storyline, not picked the music and then made up a pointless storyline just so they could use the song. Plus, the whole re-creating the music videos frame for frame was a little weird. Like, if I wanted to watch the Baby One More Time video, I'd watch it. Not the TERRIBLE Lea Michele version. I mean that was just awful. I liked Artie's Stronger when I first listened to it because it kinda reminded me of NSYNC, but the performance was boring. I mean, we already saw the football team dance and Single Ladies was waaaaaaay funnier. Again, I LOVE the Toxic cover (I've been listening to it non-stop since it leaked), but the performance creeped me out. I don't need to see Mr. Schuester perform that FOR REAL with his students. I was hoping it would just be a fantasy. But nope, it was a Britney Spears sex riot.

Thank god for Sue. Her entire 1968 Democratic National Convention speech KILLED ME.

And can Emma and Uncle Jesse stay together forever just so John Stamos can stay on the show? I loved her story about how he convinced her to mix the red and green grapes together. Oh, Emma, I've missed you so much! And Uncle Jesse needs to sing, STAT!

Brittany had several funny lines. And even though she isn't the greatest singer, GOD CAN HEATHER MORRIS DANCE. I have such a girlcrush on her. OMG. I wanted nothing more than to put on a red, pleather jumpsuit and get up and dance right along with her. Except I'm currently RIDICULOUSLY sore from my dance class, so I don't know how that would work out.

As per usual, this episode had me falling even more in love with Finn. His face during The Only Exception turned me into a giant puddle of goo. And his "They're personifying you!" line made me laugh hysterically. Oh, Finn, you adorable little idiot. I love you. Anyway, Rachel's been driving me nuts lately, so Ryan Murphy, will you cast me as Finn's new love interest? I mean, I can't act very well, but all I'd really need to do is lust over Cory Monteith and I'm already doing that from home. I'd love to put my lusting to good use.

After seeing the preview, I have really high hopes for next weeks episode, and if that disappoints too, I am going to be REALLY upset. I hate when shows I love start to suck. But I don't think it will. I mean, Puck's singing Billy Joel and Finn makes a "Grilled Cheesus" (and I think he's singing REM next week too). What more could a girl want? Y'know, maybe that's what the first 2 episodes have been missing. There hasn't been enough of the boys and there definitely hasn't been enough Classic Rock. We need some more Journey up in here or something.

Yes Yes Yes!! To everything you said! This happens to so many shows. They get that big success and then they try and do all these out there things to keep people's attention when all they need to do is keep doing what they did at the beginning that GOT our attention. Even if it keeps sucking, I'll keep watching just because I love the characters so much, but I'm really disappointed in the music lately.

I'M SO MAD STAMOS DIDN'T SING. Helllllllllooooo, you have a gorgeous great actor who can also sing and you are GLEE and you don't let him sing?! For the love of crap.

I actually read that Heather Morris is a dancer more than an actress and that she got the role on Glee on a whim or by accident or something which PAINS ME!!! But you know. I heard she danced on Janet Jackson's tour so once I heard that I knew she would kick butt and she did really well. But it still wasn't good to me. I agree about them doing Britney videos frame for frame, I think that sucked. I mean... WHY? You're never gonna compare, so instead put your own spin on it. Which is what they did for Toxic, and that was the only song that worked for me.

Also *** at that Paramore song at the end. This is the Britney episode. *****es. Excuse me.

Next week looks good but I just hate how everything has to be THEMED now. Like this is the religion episode. They need more episodes where the focus is the STORY and whatever songs happen to fit into that fit and that's it.

Sheesh, Glee. Sheesh.
