Anyone else NOT doing Marathon Weekend this year and starting to feel it?
We've done the last 4 years at WDW and the DL half marathon a couple months ago, but we need to take a year off to do other things. I knew I would feel sad as we got closer to January and everyone was ramping up their training.... but I didn't know it would start so early!
I need a support group to tell me that it's ok when I'm not getting on a plane to WDW come January! And I'm not even training for anything right now, and I feel like such a slacker!

I am hoping to do Goofy again in 13, so I'll be joining you, Kim. All the threads have started focusing on January, so I am avoiding most of them. My hubby just doesn't understand either.
Glad to know I'm not the only one feeling the Marathon Weekend "letdown". It seems like everyone is so excited about their training and... it's hard not to feel it. One thing that is making the "withdrawal" easier for me is that I'm currently having a pretty rough pregnancy (as-yet-undiagnosed autoimmune issues) and so I would likely have had to cancel anything longer than the 5K, if we had planned on going. Knowing that it's best for me to be taking it easier helps with not being registered for an event for the first time in almost 5 years.
