I spent the morning at church helping with the Christmas program rehearsal. Now I'm gonna relax with a jigsaw puzzle.

I'll tell ya how I got that grand piano now. Some Linnie Family History: (I'm bored-Buzz is gone. I have no one to play with).

What a wonderful story.

I piano, too. I never went beyond the beginner lessons, though I used to play a lot. We had one when I was growing up, but it was always "my brother's". In fact, when my folks sold their house, they gave it to him. I was so upset about that.

Then about 2 years ago, DH and I had a opportunity to get a baby grand in OK shape for the cost of moving it from the people who gave it to us's house to ours. Well, I jumped on that like a ton of bricks....a baby grand for $175? SOLD!

Now, unfortunately, I hadn't played it in over 6 months....until I read this story and immediately went downstairs and started playing christmas carols. So, THANK YOU LINNIE for getting me back on the piano.

It's weird because after reading that story yesterday, I played some Christmas carols with my daughter today. She played the melody and I played the duet parts. Very fun! Can't wait for next weekend when the family comes over for a concert!
