I made my first beauty cruch purchase today:grouphug: 3 items the too faced plastics set, smudge pot trio, and a lip thingy, can't remebr it was a gloss that is a lipstick?
Cat, you should be getting a serious kickback from them. I bet they had a sharp rise in hits and purchases because of you.

Ok, sounds like I need this. A question, does this Roc cause your face to look sunburned when you first use it, kind of like a peel would ( at least that is what I heard a peel does)? Do you use this just at night? Thanks!

Guys I will say it again go to www.cosmeticscop.com she has alpha and beta hydroxy that works great. Check out the skin product I would not steer you wrong.

Also I can tell this is going to turn into a fake tan thread pretty soon which is OKAY with me. I will say right now I HATE the Dove tanner/moistureizer. It makes you yellow. Jergens is okay. I usually just do my legs and NOT my face.

I got ANOTHER order last night. I wrote to them and asked if they were ever going to get the Stila Mega set in again but they did not write me back. HOnestly, I am like addicted to that site. I think at this time of the year TJ Maxx gets Stila they had it last year and someone mentioned they had it again this year.

TJ Maxx gets makeup? I don't know that I ever looked for stuff like that there. What about Marshal's? Were do you find it at? Oh, I can tell I am going to become addicted to buying makeup now. :rotfl2:

So it appears that there is only one tube of this Monistat product in existance in my town, and I am now it's proud owner to the tune of $7.99! You guys got some way better deals than that. Next time I go by Target.........

I gotta say, I had the day off today so I had makeup fun for about 30 minutes this morning. I was looking pretty good for a day when I'm staying home in jeans and a turtleneck sweater! But I can't be sure I can see a difference with the Monistat. I have to go to a meeting tonight, so by the time I get home from that I'll see how I look.

I will say though that my eyelashes look great. I am still using my old drug store product, haven't gotten the lash injection yet. But I did the heated curler and I applied the mascara to the top side of the lashes like Cat said. I like it!

Marshalls andTJ Maxx sell it at differnt times. Last year it was a few weeks before Mother's Day. It was Stila.

OMG what kind of a one Monostat Town do you live in ?:rotfl: Youare not going to see HUGE change but more it will not rub off or melt in your eye crease.

BTW who uses Mac Paint? How do you use it. I have a shopping bag filled on the Mac Website but I am thinking I am going to go to the outlet store and see what they have first. I want the paint I saw a YOUTUBe tutorial on Paint.

Remember that NO AD brand sunscreen? They USED to make a self tanner, and can I tell you how great it was??? Wonderful and CHEAP!

I wish I could still find it.

I'm Greek & Italian....so it's not hard for me to find a self tanner that doesnt work okay - since I'm already a bit darker.

But I like Loreal's Sublime Gel for my face and any kind of 'airbrush / spray' one, for my body. It's just easier - but Ill tell you, Ive gotten a couple duds that stop spraying and that irks the hell out of me.

So far Banana Boat's smells the best (doesnt smell starchy) BUT BUT BUT that one fizzled on me quick. ALmost a full can.

OH - and then I use that Jergens stuff on the back of my hands, cuz hands always seem to grab it more, and that way theyre not weird looking.

That's how I do my mascara! :thumbsup2

I paid about that much for mine at CVS. It's still worth it, though. :goodvibes

Well, if I get kick backs (who mentioned Monistat?) she should be getting mega kick backs!!!

Let us know what you think of everything. I'm always interested.

Monistat should be making cheermom1 rich!! She was the wonderful one who first mentioned Monistat on the thread.

I love our new thread title!! Glad to coin a new phrase- I feel like I'm part of something bigger than myself... :rotfl:

Well, I have to say I'm one of the few who is a bit underwhelmed with the monistat. I really couldn't tell a difference between that and my regular primer. I still had to touch-up throughout the day but that's probably because I have oily skin. Still, it did work AS WELL as my primer for a fraction of the cost, so that's good. All in all, I'm satisfied - but not blown away.

On another note, do any of you ladies use leg make-up in the summer? I've tried the Sally Hansen brand I picked up at Wall-Green's and it was just ok. I have veiny legs - not varicose veins, but a little more prominent than spider veins and I'm self-conscious when I wear shorts. I know there is a procedure that can get rid of them, but honestly, I hesitate to mention it to my doctor because I think he's about ready to have me committed. :lmao:

Well, I never used any primer - couldnt justify the cost. I thought my makeup help up just fine on it's own. So for me - I'm WOW'd.

Now you have used a primer, and you dont think Monistat is any better - but as good. For you - it should come down to price. $5 a tube versus $30-something. KWIM? :)

I dont use leg makeup - but I use self tanner. :beach:

OMG I go away for a couple weeks and we're talking about putting Monistat on our faces?! :rotfl:

I miss talking with you gals--just life got really, really crazy. And I've been spending a lot of time at Epcot. :goodvibes

I use the MAC Paint--someone just asked about it--I use it as an eyeshadow primer. I just put a tiny little bit on the tip of my finger and apply it to the lid. It evens out my skin tone there too, plus it makes the shadow stay on forever, and it really brings out the color. My tube has lasted me almost a year now--it goes a LONG way.

My sister just turned 50, she looks fabulous by the way. She had the surgey for the veins and was not happy with it. She says they came back worse. Why not give a try to the moisturizer with the self tan in it by Jergens? That is what I use, I am very fair skinned and just want to lose that shockingly white look with the visible blue from my veins. Try it now befor it is shorts time. I like it because it is fairly streek proof. I had the laser stuff done for my roseca(sp) it worked but came back after a few months so i would not do that again.

I think the big thing with monistat is that it is 5-8 dollars for the EXACT same thing as other primers that cost $50. I wish I had known about monistat before I bought Revlon's primer for $10. But then again, I didn't see a huge difference either. Then I read the ingredients and found that dimethicone is in my foundation. If I decide to switch foundations, I will buy the monistat when the revlon runs out.

CR, I never said THANK YOU for the recommendation of NARS "Outlaw" blush. I was scared to use it when I looked at it in the pan. But it's my favorite of all four that I have (Outlaw, Sin, Angelika, and "O" ). A little goes a loooonnnnng way. I want to try a cream blush for summer next. Any suggestions?

Well let me just tell you that twice this week I saw deer inside city limits. That should give you an idea. We did just get a Kohls and Home Depot though. We are really feeling big now!

I ended feeling like I looked pretty good all day. I didn't reapply any makeup and I felt that it was still on at time to wash face for bed.

I'm bad! I use the tanning bed!
