I just used my $20 off when you spend $35--though I spent over $100...**whistles**. I have a problem...

I got my Sephora order the other day and I am loving the new mascara I bought. I got the Buxom lip and mascara set and I am loving the mascara. I knew I would like the lip gloss so I figured it was a good way to try the mascara and I am so glad I tried it.

At first I was a little skepticle because the brush seemed so huge, but it goes on so nice, with NO clumps. There is only one little thing about the brush that I'm not sure I like or not. The end of the brush (the tip) does not have any bristles. In a way it is nice because that is often a clump waiting to happen; however, it is nice to have those to do the inner lashes on my left eye. I'm right handed and if I have to turn the brush to get the inner corner I often get mascara all over my lid. But that is a small trade off for the length and thickness I am getting from it.

Now I need to wait for another coupon code or something so I can get a full size one. :lmao:

My Sephora coupon is $20 off of $35.

Ok I use Bare Minerals on the weekend when I have more time to put on makeup. During the week though, it just takes waaay too much time to put it on in the morning. I ended up getting Benefit's Hello Flawless pressed powder and while I like it, the color is a bit light for me (so when I do use it, I need to use some bronzer, which is fine for the weekends, but I need quick) and the next darkest one was too dark. It doesn't come in many colors. I also tried Makeup Forever pressed powder and it was way too orangey. I'm looking for a good pressed powder that has good coverage, shine control, and is easy to use.

I'm somewhat interested in Smashbox Halo, Laura Mercier, and maybe Guerlain?

Any other suggestions?

That is better than my 20 off 50 BUT they had a one day ff on sunday so I got an extra 15% off. I paid 79 for my 110 order but that includes tax.

You and me and everyone else on this thread.

I bought some more Lip Fusion, as I was running low on my neutral (notice I said "low" not out. :sad2: ) Anyways....

HSN has quite a few sets of it, and I liked the one shade they had, and it came with the XL too. As well as a sample size of their mascara.

Their mascara is nice. I'm impressed. :thumbsup2 Anyone try Lash Fusion? Here's a bunch of before and afters:

And this is the set I got:

And - as you know - when you're already paying for shipping, you may as well get what you need. So I got this too:

My friend who gives me all the new expensive make up buys it at sephora, she spends literally thousands and she did not get a coupon plus they screwed up her bonus points. I told her to check into it but she did not .YOu can be sure if it were me I would be SURE I got my coupon and my bounus points. It said to be a very important beauty insider you needed to spend 350 in a year....lol...a year or a month or a week or a day or several days at a time.

I only spent $35 with my GC. I got the sinner/saint solid perfume ring-smells great and so cute! And the BE makeup remover qtips. I'm not in love with any insider prozes at the moment, so I'm letting mine build up.

Got my order today and in it was a code for 20% off sale items ...I am going to look now but the code if anyone is interested is EXTRA.

***MOMENT OF SILENCE, PLEASE....Bow your heads***

There was a fire this morning...at.... Sephora. :sad1:

It was the Mag Mile Sephora here in Chicago. A super snazzy one, with everything. :sad1:

It's my understanding if there is a fire, they can not salvage any products in the store, even if they seem to be untouched by the said fire, which means hoards of things are going to be TOSSED!! :sad1:

On a related note....who is near me, and interested in Dumpster Diving?

Sounds fun I'll be right over

I NEED HELP!!!

I'm desperately searching for new base & concealer. I've been using my "left-overs" as foundation for a couple of months now. (Old Arbonne, L'Oreal, etc...) I don't want to spend a fortune, so I'm looking for deals. (Hopefully I can find a concealer & base for under $50)

I'm 35 & have REALLY dark circles under my eyes. My eyes don't get puffy, but they sink in. I'm a very fair/freckled red-head with dry skin/semi oily t-zone.

I have coupons to Ulta & we have one nearby. That store overwhelms me b/c I have ADD. :rotfl: Any suggestions out there?? TIA!

I'm an Everyday Mineral girl, myself.

Before using EM - I really liked Revlon's Color Stay. But keep in mind, I've been out of the liquid makeup world for a while now. I won't be much help if that's the direction you intend on going.

TiGi makes a phenomenal base, but it's tough to find.

Thanks Cathryn! Where do you buy EM? How much does it cost? My worry w/ mineral powders is: do they enhance or hide your wrinkles?

I used to wear Arbonne's mineral powder & it seemed to put a spotlight on my fine lines. (And believe me, those lines aren't so fine, anymore!)

I use a moisturizer, as well as a primer before - so I don't see any enhancement of my lines.

www.everydayminerals.com 1-11 full size products is like 25% off - 12 and over is 55% off. You're better off buying more, once you decide to buy it.

However, you can try it for free. Check out their website. You'll only have to pay for shipping.

They come 4 formulas: Orginal Glo - Semi Matte - Matte and INtensive. Depending on how much coverage you like, is how you choose which one.

Okay, I'm digging around on the site now. What do you suggest for the circles under my eyes? Can EM only be purchased on their website? Ulta?

Only the website - the intensive concealer's are nice... as well as the sunlight one (off sets dark circles)

I'm an EM gal myself I LOVE this make up - before I switched it seemed as though anything and everything I put on my face made it itch or something - I use the Natural Reflects as a primer and finish powder and I don't have any lines that show ...I love this stuff it has the best finish I have ever seen ..it more of a trail and error for a while till you get what colors and finishes that work best for you ...I just realized I quote Cathryn sorry...

Hi Guys,

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Someone asked on another thread about this product so I figured I would ask here. It is called Eye Fix by Claudia Stevens. I had never heard of this cosmetics brand before or the product. anyone here know of it or what it does?

Also, I was all excited because I looked at Sephora and saw 20% off so I spent like an hour trying to maximize my 50.00 GC that I got for Christmas. I finally reconciled myself to spending 200 then getting 40 plus 50 GC to make it 110! I was excited since I had spent over an hour to find my products BUT Idid not read the ad correctly it was 20% off SALE items. Way to waste an hour of my life I cannot get back. LOL>

Just got my Everyday Minerals "try for free" in the mail. Also ordered the green concealer to try. Can't wait to try it tomorrow! Thanks for all the advice :goodvibes

ps i luv the chicago sephora it's my happy place there i live 2 1/s from the windy city. any chicago people here? let's meet there sometime
