GoofyforDisney3, how did the Clinique Redness Sollution work out? I bought the cream cleanser last week when they had the bonus - the bonus was so good that I went back & got two Bamboo Pink lipsticks, one butter shine and the other long lasting.

Has anyone bought the Tarte Treasure Chest @ Sephora:

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P247380

I didn't see much of a difference in my redness. I don't know if it was because I used my makeup primer before the Clinque stuff, but I won't be dropping $30 plus dollars on it. Reminded me of just a mineral makeup so I'll just stick to my Everyday Minerals and my primer. It works just as well and is a lot cheaper.

I got the Tarte Treasure chest from Sephora and after having for almost two weeks and using it all of two times, I sent it back. The eye shadows were nice, but the whole thing was just to big and bulky for it to be my go to for my eye shadow. Also, I don't normally wear the shimmer shadows and half of what you get a more shimmer. (I would however buy some smaller pallets or singles of Tarte shadows. The pigment seemed very nice and they were pretty silky feeling and stayed nice.)

Also, the lip gloss just didn't do anything for me. It seemed more like a lipstick to me and it also wasn't portable, so if you found a color you liked and put it on in the morning, you didn't have it with you to touch up with later. :sad2:

Has anyone tried to send their wish to Sephora on twitter? I want to, but I don't know what to put. I have to many wishes. :rotfl:

Thanks for the feedback! I also like "on the go" products so was hesitant to get such a big set. Feel silly saying this on this thread but I rarely wear eyeshadow & that's a bulk of the sets.

Another question - my stylist put subtle dark blonde highlights in my medium brown hair. I had asked for more around my face & although she is very good, she didn't do any extra. A year ago she did them exactly as I liked so nut sure if I wasn't emphatic enough or what - DH says, switch to another person but she's been great for 4 years & good to fair for the last year. It's a big thing to commit to another salon/stylist.

So - do I go to another stylist & just ask for a half dozen face framing foils? It would give me a chance to try a new salon/stylist.
TIA for input.

Just an FYI, my December issue of Allure contained a $5 off $10 coupon. So if you see that issue in your Dr's office or lying around somewhere, you might want to give it a quick scan. :)

To all the Make-Up Queens:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone seen a lip gloss like this:

http://www.overstockdrugstore.com/p...ign=GoogleBase&cvsfa=1950&cvsfe=2&cvsfp=5719#

Sure - I could continue to use Lip Smackers brand, but it's gone within minutes, and I need something 'better' than 12 y/o tween lip gloss.

It's sheer wet pink, with a LOT of shimmer - But not really a color. It's not opaque. It's more of a jelly color type.

The shimmer just gives your lips extra wetness looking when it's on. Doesn't look shimmery, on.

Anyone?

ok I just took my first store trip to sephora and ulta and man was I overwhelmed and I got some new products and brushes and now I am officially addicted!!! I joined them on twitter :) hehe I just wanted to let you guys know I was excited!! :)

Hi, everyone!

I'm still making my way through the thread and don't know if this was mentioned in the 100+ pages ... but does anyone know a REALLY full coverage concealer, available in a variety of shades? I've been reading the reviews at Sephora's website but I'd also love your opinion.

I have hyperpigmentation that seems to take a long time to fade. Also, I have discoloration around my mouth/upper lip and it's extremely difficult to cover up (it's a bit darker than my skin color, nothing drastic, but noticeable enough if you're near me). No matter how much moisturizer I use, when I apply a makeup product in that area, it still looks gross and powdery/cakey! :scared1:

Anyone have a Clairsonic face brush? I've seen some good reviews on Sephora, but I'm wondering if it's really worth dropping $200-ish on??? Or, do any of you know of any decent knock-off's???

I've been using one for about 2 years and very happy with the result. I have very large pores on my T zone and chin and used to have loads of white and black heads. I still have some but not as much as I did. I got mine at Costco for about $150.

Am I the only one that got the 20.00 GC when you spend 50 at Sephora in the mail? I figured you guys would all be buzzing about it.

Thank you! I might get Santa to bring me one!!!:santa:

I JUST got a coupon online from Sephora. $15 off $35 online or in store. Good through December 14. Not bad! :thumbsup2

My Sephora coupon is $20 off of $35.

Ok I use Bare Minerals on the weekend when I have more time to put on makeup. During the week though, it just takes waaay too much time to put it on in the morning. I ended up getting Benefit's Hello Flawless pressed powder and while I like it, the color is a bit light for me (so when I do use it, I need to use some bronzer, which is fine for the weekends, but I need quick) and the next darkest one was too dark. It doesn't come in many colors. I also tried Makeup Forever pressed powder and it was way too orangey. I'm looking for a good pressed powder that has good coverage, shine control, and is easy to use.

I'm somewhat interested in Smashbox Halo, Laura Mercier, and maybe Guerlain?

Any other suggestions?

Grrrrrrrrrrr! Sure rub it in! ;)

I'm guessing it has something to do with how much you've spent with them. :)

Heh! I have an excuse, though. I bought a ton of makeup when I got married!

I'm wondering how many different coupons they're sending out?

Now that's a really good excuse! :thumbsup2 Congrats! :goodvibes

I know. I wonder how high the value of the coupons go up to!!

I got a coupon too. Does that mean you have to pay for a $35 purchase, and then you can use the coupon for something that's $15, or can the $15 be discounted off the $35? TIA

ETA: Never mind. I figured it out.

I got an email with the $15 dollar one and already used it. Bought a few I had been wanting to try, used my store credit from my return and another gift certificate I had and paid a whole .49 cents. Wish shopping was that cheap all of the time. LOL
