WAHOO!!!! So excited to once again be entering the "Pink Kingdom of Princesshood"! I'm afraid my tiara from last WBTA is looking a little sad, so guess I will have to drag myself to the mall, and make myself shop for another tiara! What a woman will do for a couple of glasses of champagne and a chance to mingle with ladies in pink boas and tiaras! *sigh* Looking forward to another good time ladies! So glad I made the list Mary!!!

Thanks for the offer but I agree that it is too structured for my taste as well. I didn't realize that until after I posted that. I know Manda will enjoy it. Champagne gives me a horrible headache.

Here’s an opportunity for us girls to meet on our own for a few glasses of champagne and a chat. I know that this has been a very popular event in the past on many cruises so, come on girls, dust down your pink clothes, tiara and pink feather boa and get ready for a treat. The boys tried to gatecrash on the last WBTA, but were promptly removed

The format used on WBTA 2011 was very popular and an excellent afternoon so we are using the same format this year. A great time was had by all

Please note that there will be a charge to your room for this event, previously it was $20 (hoping it will still be the same this time, as there was a LOT of champagne for the price) and DCL provided glasses of a few different types of champagne, they classed it as a tasting event, but we asked DCL not to do any formalities or floor show, as it was an informal lighthearted gathering.

From memory DCL provided 5 different types of champagne to try and it was really lovely chatting and circulating and a waiter just appeared with a fresh tray of drinks, it was delightful being served and not having to get up and refill your own glass, especially when we were all looking so fabulous!

We are hoping that DCL will assign Sessions again, if you are not familiar, this is the piano bar on Deck 3 Forward in the adult bar area. It was an amazing venue because everyone had a seat and mingling was very easy moving from table to table.

If you are interested, you must PM me with your details, as it’s easy to miss a post on the main thread.

I will obtain full names and reservations numbers from everyone nearer the time, when DCL confirms the event. On embarkation/prior to the event, you will receive a ticket from DCL left in your stateroom (similar to an excursion ticket) and the price will be charged to your room bill. If you change your mind whilst onboard or cannot make it on the day, your room bill will still be charged.

This event is strictly limited to 49 people and people will be added to the list on a first come, first served basis.

I can imagine sharing the cabin with my MIL. I can not share with my own father though. He will be with us, in his own cabin down the hall.

Yay, I've finally been able to get on the DIS on my phone, don't know for how long though. Hopefully I will be back up and running on the weekend and catch up on everything.

Claire has changed the name of the Tequila Tasting on the front page to Tequila and Margarita tasting, I apologise I realise I may have made people think that we would be just necking tequila shots! When we took part in this on the Wonder there were margaritas as well as tastes of tequila. One lucky person, namely DH Ian, was chose to have a margarita mixed in their mouth!
