oh and we're all sorted with the MIL sharing thingy.we were in an oceanview, not got two insides. more room, and more importantly, we all get our privacy back!

we are right down on deck one though, but hey, its better than nothing!

That must be a huge relief!!! My DH couldn't share the ship with his mum let alone a cabin!!! :eek:

Alright we have a theme... Now it is time to get working on lanyards and name tags!

:yay::yay:

:cool1: I was hoping we'd see you back again!! :cool1:

And if I had to share a cabin with my MIL, one of us definitely would not make it across. :scared: :crazy2: Hell, if we were on the same boat one of us would still be a goner.

Dennis's MIL, on the other hand, is a sweetie! :rotfl: But I'd still get her a separate cabin. Dennis and I can barely manage not to throw each other overboard in that space.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I just went back to page one and looked at all the tastings I have signed Joe and I up for I think we are going to be drinking our way across the Atlantic!! O this is going to so much fun!! Party time!:dance3::dance3:

:drinking1 and you've got Champagne Girls now too :cheer2:

yay, was wondering last night whether you and dennis would be cruising. it just wouldnt be the same without the pink flamingo hat :lmao:

definately turning into a reunion! will be great to see everyone again :)

It was the sailaway party that got me, we were up on deck 10 and saw the pink flamingo hat dancing away on deck 9 and we thought ..... we know who that is :lmao:

Ditto !!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Glad you got sorted with different cabins. You never know nearer the PIF date you may be able to progress further up the ship.

yeah will keep an eye out, we can only end up on deck one or two due to the category we're in, but would prefer two if possible. but hey, deck one is better than not being on at all :)

Dennis likes to be there, but won't get up and dance. So I'm glad the rest of you will be out there with me! :dance3:

Now, for something completely off topic (because we never, ever do that here)...

A group of women and I are performing "The Va*ina Monologues" at our local community theater tonight. (DIS blanked it out. It's not as trashy as it sounds.) We had our final dress rehearsal last night, with a small audience, and I absolutely froze mid-monologue! :eek: I've never done that before, in all my years of doing theatre, so I'm really nervous about our opening night. They say, "bad dress rehearsal, good opening night." I hope that's right!

My birthday is Aug 30, and our anniversary is Sept 19... I foresee lots of celebrating!!!party:party:party:

same here, we're birthday buddies! will have to celebrate again exactly one week later on embarkation day!

I need a vacation and this cruise cannot come soon enough. I looked at other cruises in 2013 and didn't see anything that got my attention or fit my schedule. Luckily Aulani was available so I booked it for May.

Good luck with your play .... that play is popular in the UK ... often has famous actresses playing the roles on tour. I am sure you will be brilliant especially as you had your hiccup in the dress rehearsal.

at least dennis likes being there, gary doesnt even like being there given the option....

finally caught up on all 99 pages that i've missed. so up to speed on everything now

joining in on the introductions for those who don't already know all of this from last time lol:

i'm karen (32 at the mo), cruising with DH gary (31), and for the first time, also cruising with MIL mima.
this will be our fourth cruise, all DCL, but have been to WDW 11 times, four times in the last 10 months. we got married in disney in 2005 at the wedding pavilion and never looked back lol.
we have done two 3 nights on the wonder, the 7 night repo in 2010 and the 2011 WBTA, so will be nice to see everyone again, as well as meeting new people!
i'm one of the managers at the disney store at lakeside in essex (get to see hazel and annie every so often, as well as dan and bruce from the last WBTA), and gary runs his own company fixing and supplying gym equipment.
We've got no kids, but one very spoilt german shepherd, my avatar is him 8 years ago.
At the mo we're booked on deck one, but hoping to make it out of steerage if more cabins open back up closer to sail date
will be joining in some of the activities closer to the time, I ran the secret mickey and the meet threads last time, so at the moment feeling a bit out of the loop not having anything to organise :( (choccy tasting doesnt really appeal to me as i dont drink any of the adult bevvies they serve with the chocolate)

Dennis will go pretty much anywhere... if you give him a beer (or three).

Thanks! I've got the longest monologue, because it's supposed to be done with an English accent and mine is the most passable of the group.

Good luck with the play, I'm sure you'll do a grand job especially with your English Accent :) x x x

Break a leg Pat! :goodvibes You will be fine.

I am going to make you talk in your English accent on the cruise ;)

If you need to practise, don't forget that the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.... ;)

Same with gary. Dangle a bud light in front of him and he'll follow :)

We visited the Aulani last month. You'll have a great time.
