Okay, I'm not sure I want to be associated in general with THAT trip. What does it mean that I am badly in need of new glasses and was actually considering those similar to Lisa Loeb's? Now I can't - what have you done to me?

I had my good cry (Thanks Mark! I needed that!), thanked God for all of you, and got busy for a while. After three solid hours of ACTUAL WORK, I'm back for a little fun.

What kind of punishment should I devise for a colleague who went out of town (to WDW no less!) without telling me, then advised the government agency for which he works that I, since I work for a companion government agency, would be happy to take on anything that came up in his absence? Am I allowed to pull his fingernails out? The end result of my getting volunteered is that I have to get all gussied up tomorrow and go to Court. Drat! It's enough to at least pull ONE fingernail out, dontcha think? He didn't even ask me if I needed anything from the World. Like a new outfit for my Pal Mickey. Or a postcard to my Princess.

And about all you December trippers - I think there are at least a few of us going in October also. Now I am going to have to go cross-reference my list with the posters on this board.

BTW Maelstromers, I did work on those Maelstrom T-shirt designs last night while Marky Mark had insomnia and was up waaaay too late on the CB, again. Perhaps I will go try to post them in the Art Section or wherever. I could also email or PM them.

Here's a brief description (front): picture a set of viking hat horns as the backdrop, superimposed is Maelstrom in DIS green with black outline. The Maelstrom is on a curve, just like in the real sign with a similar font.

On the back in reverse black font with DIS green outline are the words: Is A
atop a DIS green FASTPASS logo with Donald, followed by a large ?! at the end.

All mirror imaged and ready to go for either real screen printing or do-it yourself iron-on transfer film from WallyWorld (aka Walmart).

Now the colors and viking horns and all are optional. It's really just a matter of preference.

I am laughing about the pet rock....I had one and I painted him like a rainbow and glued jiggly eyes to it. Made mine at Church camp.

I'm 34....and I'm proud I've made it this far! Speaking of working out...my friend is a personal trainer so I have been getting killed by her (it isn't any fun) since October. It would probably work a lot better if I wouldn't do things like I did today....I worked out, got in my car and drove straight to BoJangles and got a big buttery sausage biscuit. As I was eating it, I thought of Mel's size 4 white bikini. I need to hang one from my rear view mirror for a little more inspiration!!!! My husband kept taking pictures of my bootie on our trip to the World in December. For some reason my cute little j.crew sweatpants I had bought for the trip kept riding up into my hind end. After seeing those pics, I haven't worn those pants any more! If any of you were there in Dec and saw a girl who had a constant wedgie...that was me.

Mark I liked hearing how you got your screen name! Now I understand! Mine came from my 6 year old son who told me he was getting "frickles" on his face.

Tink: so sorry for your loss. We've had our dog for 8 years and when he goes I'll be devastated. I sincerely hurt for you and your little boy.

Mel and LaLa: church on Sunday was actually very good. It was helpful to be with our brothers and sisters and be so lovingly ministered to. God has given us real peace and we're doing pretty well all things considered. I appreciate that you are still thinking about us and praying for us.

ZZUB!! I can't BELIEVE I forgot you were a Bama fan!! How did I forget that?? Well, I do have a confession to make. I did not attend the University of Alabama. But I am DEEPLY attached to Alabama football. Long live Mike Shula!! (And no, we have NOT fully accepted that Bear is dead.) My dad, who is from Alabama, attended that fine University. However, my dad moved to Georgia and married my mother, and they then had me. Which made me a Georgia resident, not an Alabama resident. Which meant that, even with a scholarship, I could not afford the out of state tuition to attend that very fine institution. So I went to Troy State (oh excuse me, it's now simply "Troy University") on a full academic scholarship. Ask Mark what kind of scholarship he had. Oh, that's right, he didn't have one. He was too busy doing all the things he did BEFORE he became a preacher. Which, incidentally, I believe makes him a better preacher. And I know he's my husband and all, and of course I'm supposed to say nice things about him, but he is a GOOD preacher. So y'all plan a road trip. We'll reserve some pews and have a covered dish lunch. My talent is cooking. I'm pretty darn good at it. So you can come get some preachin' and I'll fatten you up. AND~we're on your way to Disney!! We'll be expecting lots of visitors!

Might I mention that while I was in school at Florida State, 89-94, we played Nebraska 3 times.
