I had to work until about 6 today. I am kinda beat now. But DBF said hes making curry tonight so I am very happy about that! yum yum

oh please pass me one of those Mike's hard lemonades. I could use it right now!

Everyone knows that the lemonade and cranberry are good. But do try a lime or an ice tea....they are even better if you can believe that. Haven't had the lite one yet

I can't find a single picture of a hard lime by itself.....too bad I don't have my digital camera and take a pic of the one in my hand....

Okay, so I made the quiche. My little one is standing there singing the whole time, "I don't liiiiiikkke quiche, I don't liiiiikkke quiche" and my older is saying "Why are you putting in onions? We don't need onions, do we?" That's when I sent him to the neighbors' to borrow milk and mortally embarassed him!

But, when I served it, they were thrilled with their "pie" and gobbled it down.

Here are dh's responses, in order:
"Where are the tortillas?"
"Pass the salsa."
"No biscuits?"
"This might be good at breakfast."

To which I responded: "You uncultured swine" in my best Mr. Potatohead voice.

However, he did eat 3 pieces!

It took forever to upload, photobucket kept saying it didn't like the ending.... it was a jpeg but I ended up resaving it to my computer as a bitmap so we will see how it works....

Well I'm gonna go eat. Supper is done and DH is home...Yes I've been cooking and dising this whole time....Talented!!

Tonight for supper:
Grilled porkchops with BBQ seasoning (Dry not sauce)
pan fried potatoes with onions and garlic
baked beans (bushes maple )
salad with the works and your choice of dressing (blue cheese, ranch, dorthy lynch, or 1000 island)
and the Milk or cholocate milk
and for dessert

Okay not really but I wish, just chocolate pudding

Hi Minty, how are you? Dinner for me sucked. I had big plans to make fajitas for dinner. So I go to make it a while ago and guess which dork forgot to thaw out the meat?

So I made my family tuna sandwiches and myself ham&cheese, since I hate tuna.

Did you eat something yummy?

I'm starting to worry. Pour on the deodorant and load up on the perfume and breath mints. Everytime I make it over here, I'm all alone and I have to go feed the kids. If anyone is around later, I'll share my Walmart story.

It seems like I"m always just missing you! You don't smell, and if I were on when you were I promise I wouldn't ignore you! I wanna hear the walmart story, sister!

Dinner for me is still cooking. We are having sausage curry (the very spicy kind! I love spicy food) on top of rice. It is DBF's special recipe and tastes so good. I am so hungry! I had a crappy bagel for lunch and that did not go far.
Sorry your plans for dinner didn't work out. I personally would be thrilled with tuna. I love that stuff

Hello all! Dinner tonight was very tasty!! Our neighbors had a wedding for their daughter last night at their house. They had the event catered...Ooh La Laaaaaa! YUMMY! We had shrimp cocktail, talipia with lemon basil sauce and some yummy spiced steak!! Nothing like having neighbors who know how to butter you up (and they were going out of town tomorrow morning and didn't want the food to go to waste). WOO HOO!! No cooking, good eats...totally free! You cannot beat that!!

Yep, that is all chocolate. One of the Great Hotels with Samantha Brown episodes that featured a Disney resort mentioned those exact goodies and said they are all edible.
