What has kept you all busy today?

Other than the unexpected free feast my day was pretty boring. I cut my son's hair, we went swimming out in the pool, I cleaned up my family room (BOY OH BOY, even AFTER my boys cleaned it, it was still needing a good cleaning...enter super mom aka ME). After dinner we went to my eldest's indoor soccer game, added some pool chemicals and swept off the deck.

What an interesting day, hey?!

I had to go to my DDs' new school and get them registered. I also had to go pick up DH from the train station. My mom sent us a $50 gift card to Chilis, all right!! We probably will use it this weekend. I also DISed a lot too.

Gift cards are AWESOME!! I love the feeling of not having to pay for something and being able to shop for it/ eat it anyway! It's a lot of fun! What are you gonna have at Chili's?

I haven't been there in a long time, but I always get chicken enchilada soup! Yum! I even have the recipe to make it at home, but I rarely do.

As for the job, they want me to go in on Wednesday and teach a mini lesson to see how I interract with kids. However, in talking with DH, I"m not sure I even want that job. I didn't like how their kindergarten room/program was set up. At all. DH saw it too, and he understands what I mean. I dont' think I want Ainslee doing Kindergarten there. So I"ll probably call the lady on Monday and tell her I'm not interested in the job.

The recipe is still packed in one of the boxes, (we are still getting unpacked from our move). I'll have to dig it out tomorrow and type it up for ya. It is yummy though! Have you had it at Chili's?

Yes, I have had the soup at Chili's. We haven't gone in way too long though. It seems like we never get to anywhere but the local Mexican place, Don Pablo's and Outback since they are the three closest.

Las Vegas--bad, Northern Virginia--great! I love the new area, it is beautiful and green and is way more family friendly. The weather is way better (not as hot and it rains more). Of course, I haven't been here for Winter, and I have no idea how to deal with snow, but for now it gets a

Ainslee is an excellent name. I have never heard of having anyone teach a lesson as part of a job interview. You are right not to take a job where you don't agree with the philosophy, BB.........that's just something it would be hard to work through day in and day out.

We love KY. We lived in WI prior to this and for us the mild winters and long summers are wonderful!!
