Well, dh has a fever of 101.3. Now we have a conundrum. Either he takes something and has to put off his biopsy, or he doesn't take anything and suffers through it and hope it doesn't go up. I think he should take something, then take his biopsy later. He makes his own decisions, so we'll see what he does..........right now he's just lying in bed...................

Good Lord I hope not............I am hoping a mild bug..................he's still on his immuno-suppressors so the flu is dangerous for him.

Well, no point in looking for twisters in January.................I'm sure it's just a mild bug.....................thanks for the hugs, though.

I know he probably doesn't feel like it...but maybe a cool shower or bath will help bring the fever down a bit.

I found this on a medical site:

Take a lukewarm shower or bath for 10 minutes. Lukewarm water should be warm enough that it does not make you shiver, but cold enough that it helps cool you off and reduce your temperature. Do not sponge yourself with rubbing alcohol.

We decided not to go to Cici's cause it was getting late and the shindig ended at 8:00. Heather was chapped!! So we stopped and got KFC. That place was FILTHY, in the lobby and in the kitchen. The service was bad, the cashier was snotty and not very competent, and the manager was talking bad about a customer in the drive through. Refered to her as a "dumb *ss" and we could all hear her.

Plus, when I got home, I found that my chicken strips were old and rubbery. I hope I didn't contract the deadly E Coli bacteria.

I am boycotting KFC. The last time we got take-out there, they didn't put the lid on the gravy very well, and I cleaned up gravy for an hour. Never again.
