Yeah. You have to distance as much as you can....................that's what my counselor says, anyway, I still get blindsided at times by emotions rising up so quickly over seemingly innocuous things others will say................
It doesn't change, but it helps if you've got somebody to lay it on the table with..............
There's lots of us out there. And my in-laws oh Lord don't get me started on them. I keep thinking our poor kids won't have any normal grandparents. But I guess most people don't.
See my in-laws are GREAT.............the only thing is, they don't talk..........I mean really, no one in that family talks to each other.........you can't get information. And then, dh didn't grow up so nice either, they had him very young..............it was better with the youngers....... but now, they don't give us a bit of trouble.willis37862 said:Yeah.
