Hi Paige
Hi Jay
Hi Cy
Nice to meet you, I'm Mary. How is everyone tonight? Paige, did you post on that Working moms vs. SAHM thread. I did stating that I saw both sides of the issue. Except mine took the line that there are moms out there who have to work, it is not a choice. My two cents.

That's just outside..................................it actually gives me trouble, people won't think twice about doing something that might upset others to me, as they think I don't mind anything...............they get caught off guard if they see me upset.

I have never been to California Grill. Run down your itinerary real quick again? That way we can imagine where you are and what you're doing..........

Okay...you asked...

Sat.9/16 check in and spend the day at MK (Griffin's choice and it will be his birthday...so that's where we go;)). Eat lunch/dinner at cs places.

Sun. 9/17 Breakfast with the grumpy duck himself over at AK. Spend the day there and then head over to MK for the EMH. Have dinner with Pooh and the gang at the Crystal Palace. YUMMY...I hope it's all I remember!!

Mon. 9/18 EPCOT This is the day I am most excited about. We have lunch ressies at the Coral Reef. I have planned for a diver to hold up a happy anniversary sign as a celebration of our 11 year anniversary (was Sept.3). They are also doing personalized menus...FOR FREE...go figure. Dinner that night will be at the Garden Grill.

Tues. 9/19 MK Breakfast at the Crystal Palace at 8:00 AM. CS lunch. Dinner at LTT (a huge family favorite cause we love history).

Wednesday MK for the Little Ones hour only. We figure we should be out of there by 11:00 AM at the latest. After that we are going back and having LUNCH with Chef Mickey...they have character lunch there through the end of free dining. After that we will hang out and relax for the afternoon and then have dinner at the Cali. Grill. YUMMY.

Thursday Epcot again...we LOVE Epcot. A very late lunch at Le Cellier. And then just grab and go for dinner at some counter somewhere:)

Friday MGM Lunch at Sci-Fi and dinner at Hollywood and Vine.

Sat.Embark on the Western route of the Disney Magic!! pirate: We will go to Grand Cayman, Key West, Cozumel and Castaway Cay.

Sat. 9/30 check into the Poly. Lunch at Whispering Canyon at WL. Dinner at Ohana's. Just a relax at the resort day.

Sun. 10/1 AK again. Once again breakfast with the grumpy duck before the park opens. lunch at a CS place. Dinner over at AKL...Boma...yum.

Mon. 10/2 Ohana character breakfast. Crystal Palace at 5:00PM before MNSSHP (our first time there).

Tues 10/3 Breakfast at the Kona Cafe and then home... :( AHHHH...we have to leave???!!!!!

No, I didn't post Mary. I've posted on a lot of those threads and talked a lot, too.............you just won't change people's minds. I get tired of trying.

Me too. Jay is trying to talk me into doing a trip report. I do not think I am a good enough writer to do one, so I am thinking about it.

Don't think....just write...I bet you surprise yourself with how it turns out!! You could always do it in Word first and then if you like what you come up with, post it and if not, then at least you have something to save forever to chronicle your time special trip with dw (even though you did have to work;)).

Of course, I am still very much interested in the results of your report...;)

I will work on it. I'll have something together by the time you get back.

I just think that is frustrating that there are all kinds of people, with all kinds of situations and we all need to respect each others choices. The ones I make may not be what you make, and vice versa. We should each just accept each other and not pass judgment unless you've walked a mile in their shoes. I get on my soapbox on Teacher vents too!!!!

Hiya Mary. I avoid threads that are loaded and where nobody will really care what I say anyway. I figure why load an already loaded gun...and for me, it would be a headache waiting to happen...

That's why I hang out here...it's safer :rotfl: :cloud9:

I do get sucked in sometimes..........especially teacher threads, immigration threads, and ADHD threads..............all very touchy subjects with me!

That's why I spoke my WOTH mom piece on here.........that way my friends know how I feel.........and the rest of the world can believe what they want..............

Good Advice......but I couldn't let it go with why I made the choices I made and why others make the choices they make. What bothered me the most was the opinion that all people who worked were doing it to have more material things. I know plenty who work to keep a roof and food and electricity. I think some people get very arrogant in their decisions when they don't agree, they see it as a personal attack. It isn't easy for a mom to leave their child and go to work, I don't know any who does it easily.

We have switched a few things (when lunch opened up at Chef Mickey's we bumped to lunch and I called and called to get in at the Cali. Grill. Finally an opening!! :)

Those choices may change slightly if we get there and feel worn out trying to keep up or something. But for us, we do pretty well using our meals as down time...which is why we will end up paying for a bunch of ts meals...but in the end...the family time with no outside "stuff" (phones, friends, puters, tvs, school work, house work, etc) will be priceless. Also, I have heard we can use our left over cs meals to get stuff like two pastries and a drink at the bakeries...YUMMY!

And if we end up leaving credits, well, it was included in the cost of the room anyway...so no big loss.

We use meals as breaks too. And no-line character meetings. We've never done the dining plans.
