I was just curious because my SIL who is a DIS'er is a teacher...and my MIL works in the office at the high school where I live...my DREAM job is to be a school nurse, but those jobs are few and far between here...

Yeah, I can see how school nursing would be tough to get into. Those that get into it don't leave often. At our school she has been there 20 yrs or so.

Last year there were three! school nurse jobs - but my DD was born on the 16th and most were interviewing that week. I wasn't sure if they would appreciate me coming in for an interview on painkillers (c-section)! This year there was one, but it was about 45 min drive from here and I didn't want to do the commute. I'm spoiled as we haven't put DD in daycare at all. At 6 weeks the doc heard a heart murmur, and though it is innocent I'm a big over protective mommy! She is either home with her dad or me... I LOVE IT! DS goes to school 2 days a week, but then he is home with me too.

My poor DS - we didn't do his 4yr pics yet because about 2 months before his birthday they did pics at school....I'm planning on taking them to get their pics done together soon.

Hello, ladies! This is gonna be a drive by post.

I slept in until 10:30, just cause I only have 2 more days to be able to do that before I start work on Monday! Now the girls and I are off to lunch at Olive Garden, the bank, and the park. I'm going to read while they have fun playing.
