Query: When did the Mary Tyler Moore show air? Maybe I was in my footie jammies too. I have only seen a few episdoes. My brothers and I did like to watch the reruns of the Dick Van rhymes with Pike show. We used to emulate his trip over the foot stool thingy.

Rob, how bad was it your way? We got about 4 inches of ice and snow here, the kids got an extra day on Christmas vacation out of it.

Wendy, I have to confess that I went to Red Lobster last night and had grilled shrimp and salmon that was SO GOOD!!! I highly recommend this dinner, its delicious! We went out cause I didn't want to cook in the ice storm, better to drive accross town.

Shan, how's everything going out your way?? I don't think I noticed the hippo thing before either... though I would guess put enough mai tais in a person and they'll say anything, right??

Bright sun here in the OC but a cold 51 degrees!!!!

Well we have someone NEW..... bdg100!!!

Christmas will be OVER one week from today....do you freakin' believe that...all this planning, decorating, shopping, wrapping, mailing, baking, and then it is done just like that (except for the bills)!!!!!!!!!

And so much for any dieting...we have CINNABON SATURDAY, every weekend in December here at our complex....yup, all you can eat as the people from Cinnabons comes in and loads us all up with their FABULOUS treats!!!! So I am once again counting the minutes to all my cinnabon eating!!!

Kristi-- the hippo thing was b/c she likes the song "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas." I believe she actually asked Santa for one, despite being warned of the amount of poo one hippo produces.

Robster-- hope you get nothing but good weather for the rest of the holiday. And a winning Powerball ticket. And whatever else is on your List.

Kar-- I'll take sunny & 51 degrees! Sounds grrreeat.

Not too bad but it was slick on the drive home last night. I'm one of those people most of us hate who frequently likes to talk, socially, on the cell phone on my drive to and from work. Last night, I put the phone away (at the urging of my good friend) so I could concentrate on driving.

Well I knew it had something to do with Mary Tyler Moore....

Rob, would you mind giving me an update on KC weather? My DD is flying home from Hong Kong to O'Hare then KC on Sunday. (She goes to school in Lawrence.) Totally worried she is going to be snowed in somewhere before she drives home to OK on Wednesday. Thanks!
