A quick rundown, From the Desk of Shannon:

• Squiddy drinks too much and forgets her pants, yet is still innocent.
• Wish peeps are gullible, and Wendy is a beggar.
• Kristi is making no promises because she just can't be good.
• Diets are fun.
• Red boots = magic money, but only earn a ten-spot from el cheapo Rob.
• S is the new F, but only if you spelll liike thisz. Otherwise, F is just plain old F.
• Kim is hoocked on phonicks.
• All-day rehearsals, posting on the wrong threads, and reneging DHs are all offensive, and all offending parties should be flogged with a wet noodle. (I may have made up that last part. Squiddy made me do it.) However, go carts are most definitely NOT offensive, unless being driven past on the way to school.

Did I miss anything pertinent? Or impertinent?

OMGosh, I love the breadbowls of broccoli and cheese soup at Pacific Wharf. In fact, I love everything about DCA! I can't miss that and the Monte Cristo sammies in New Orleans Land. And, of course, the corndogs (shaaaame!).

That one bakery in Critter Land (I butcher the land-names on purpose) in the Pooh dump shop is my Happy Place!!!

Wendy, I know not of this rope you speak of????? Oblige me and I will PULL it for sure the NEXT time!!! Critter Land, okay let's see, do you mean Harbour Galley or Hungry Bear Restaurant....not sure if there is a Bakery in Critter Land....

Glad you had a fun time Kar. I loved DLR, and I'm slightly envious you are so close! I'm desperately trying to figure out how I can go back soon. Must. Earn. Money. I MAY have to break out the red boots. Yes-- I am that desperate!

RB, one DS lives here in CA with us!!! He grad college in May and worked all summer as a Ranger at Philmont (Boy) Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM!!! He then secured a fab job here in SoCal and is loving the OC!!!! My other DS is getting married in June and will not be able to make a trip here before we head back to Boston for the wedding. They have a two week DisneyMoon all planned out!!!

Hey Kar: We went last year at Christmas time and we leave again in 25 days!! The girls are very excited. Taylor started Middle School this year and she is trying very hard to grow up all too fast. We finally got Emily on an anti-seizure drug that isn't interfering with academics and she is making great grades for the 1st since she started school. So, all in all we are doing great!!! And You?

Awesome news, Mar!!! So glad everything is good with Emily. I love the WORLD at Xmas !!! So festive!!! Where are you all staying??

In the queue area for the IJ ride, there is a covered pit with a rope and a sign that says not to pull the rope because an archaelogical dig is in progress. I won't tell you what happens if you pull it (but prepared to surrender your annual passes if you get caught ).

Both of my DDs love GoCarts Plus. We have to drive by it to get to school every day!!!! Its quite tempting for the kiddos in spring!!

I love go carts! But I tend to not notice the posted signs about not bumping the slow people in my way. Lot's of fun!

YUP, RB, a big wedding all in the planning stages...actually almost all done with the planning. Kiddos are getting married on the campus of their college where they both met!!!

FYI - they have the same rope at DHS. I innocently asked Bonnie to pull it at a meet once. From the look on her face, I personally believe that she was "Pleasantly" surprised by what happened!

I'm glad you joined over there too. Now I know more peeps than just Wendy & Squid! Don't fret-- 3 yrs ago I was thinking exactly what you are-- I would've given a leg to be a size 12. Tons of exercise & hard work later... I'm almost a 10. We can do it together! And then you can join Wendy & I in our smexy red boot club. Maybe Rob McScrooge would even slip us an extra 50 pesos.
