The Mad Chatters thread Part 17

Sarah: My advice is usually to go to Disney any chance you can. However, if you are going to go and really not enjoy it because you are missing your dh, then just wait.

I love to go to Disney and going for a long weekend is great, but when you get into a longer timeframe, it is really hard to leave my family behind. This is a choice only you can make.

I doubt would not enjoy it. I might miss him a little. ;) If we had kids I definitely wouldn't go, but I keep thinking it might be my last chance for WDW let alone WDW in October since we are planning to get preggers next year.

I can think of a great argument for everything anyone says about not going. lol

It's definitely my choice, I keep trying to get someone to take the burden off me, but it's not happening! :teeth: lol

Sarah, I was going to sign in with all my different screen names and have them all tell you to just go to WDW! But the DIS is so slow for me, I'd only get frustrated. Then I'd have to smack Squiddy out of frustration. But you get the picture! ;)

My kids are going to Chuck E Cheese tonight with my brother! So I think Brent and I might go to dinner, if I feel up to it. There is a distinct possibility that I could end up yakking it up. But hey, as long as it tastes good going down, that's all I care about! :teeth:

Squiddy, you are always missing my secret messages! :sad2: You know, a person takes the time to write them, you could at least read them. ;)

Hey Hags!

Bonnie I'm so sad you're not feeling well again! :sad1:
We gotta get you well chick!
Feel better soon, ok!
:flower3:

Squid dear, it's no use...we all know you love Bonnie!

Love your siggy Rella! It's very good! :teeth:

So when are you guys chatting tonight?

Hi Jay! You'll probably never see this, but I'll say thanks anyways! I probably wouldn't be too thrilled if he went somewhere without me, but if I couldn't go, I wouldn't want him to say no just on my account.

Yeah, I know I would have fun. Man I'm having such a hard time with this and DH is no help at all.

Okay, so everyone that is on right now. I need advice.

I was invited to go to WDW next month with DAunt, Duncle and Dcousin. I get along great with all of them. I know it'll be a blast and I'll get to go to MNSSHP and the F&WF which I'll never have the chance to go to with DH. But that's the problem. DH is teaching so he can't go and I guess I'm still in the honeymoon stage, cuz a week without him sounds horrible still.

I CAN'T DECIDE!!! I'm going nuts!!!:scared:

Remember the old adage... "Absence make the heart grow fonder."
Yes you'll miss him, but take your cell and you can chat several times a day!
The good part is that he will miss you too... and appreciate all you do even more when you get back!
IMHO, it's good for hubby's to be on their own for a bit from time to time. :laundy:

The relationships with your Aunt, Uncle & Cousin are important too and you'll be making a wonderful memory with them in a way you'd never be able to otherwise.

If it was me, (and it's obviously not -- just saying)
I'd rather make the mistake of going --
even if it means suffering through missing him more than I thought I would-- than to stay home and realize after they've gone that I wish I'd gone along and have to think about all the fun I was missing.
Thus my motto: When in doubt... go for the unrepeatable adventure!

Life is shorter than you think, find a party!!!

Love your siggy Rella! It's very good! :teeth:

So when are you guys chatting tonight?

Well... now there's the million dollar question!!! :rotfl:

I'll probably start checking in between 7:30 & 8:00.
We'll see when the rest of thier rosey faces appear. :rolleyes1

Come join us!!

Glad you like the siggy... I probably won't be able to keep it for long cuz I'm not sure it's legal.
:ssst:

Rella: I'm not sure which one of those in your siggy is me. :confused3 ;)

I probably won't show up until about 9:00 because of soccer. Lisa said she was going to show up about 10:00, but in Lisa time that means 1:00 a.m. - I didn't realize we had such a huge time difference!

Which program are you'll using? MSN?

I don't miss your secret messages. Especially because when I quote you, the white type comes out. I just have NO fear of you and your threats! Besides, I don't get it. My star's are grass? * is grass? I know you weren't cussing here on the DIS missy! :sad2:

Besides - just keep in mind. Just because it tastes good going down, does not guarantee that it will be good coming back up. I'm just sayin...:rolleyes1

Well, really, who does know what time it is in Indiana? At least you all finally got the whole state to decide to observe daylight savings time (instead of just those few advanced counties that were observing it) but you still have two time zones in your state so us "outsiders" are still all confused! :rotfl2:

You think you are confused - try living here! I have just decided that the counties that are not on EST like me don't count. It makes things easier for my life.

Hey, hags! Just waiting for DH to come home and take me to dinner. The girls and Branson are already gone to Chuck's.

WWWAAAAAZZZZZZUUUUUUPPPPPPP??????

Hi Friends!!! I'm on MSN right now and intend to stick around for a while tonight to catch up with everyone! Things are starting to slow down here ( I'm finally getting adjusted to everything..heehee) so I'm going to try to be around way more!! I miss you guys!

hey chicks!

Sarah I think you should go. I know what you mean when you say you miss him, but think about it this way-now you can get him an awesome Christmas present without him looking over your shoulder. It can be a real surprise! Plus its Disney man! Disney! Just go-your welcome back reception will be worth the time away ;)

DBF is here. His flight got in a little early and we came straight home. He is now catching some big z's. Poor little guy is tuckered out. Well it is around 8am in Taiwan now, so that means he was up almost all night! Well he'll adjust back soon hopefully!

hope you lovely hags are having a happy happy.

Bon, if you need to revisit your dinner, please try to aim for a place where no one is sitting. Common courtesy lesson hag! Have a great time.

Squid I wuv you too! :D

Hiya Stephie and T! How YOU doin?

Rella I am most certainly thinking about the exchange. After all even if my gift sucks you will (hopefully) still be my friends!

TTFN!

The MSN chat is underway. Sarah, are you still coming? Minty?
