Hey, any chatters around? Steph, I hope you're around tonight...I need to chat with you.
Am I in trouble? I didn't do it.
I liked Devil in the White City. My family is originally from Chicago (and most of them still live there).
you wanna visit Chicago because I'm here, right Stephie?![]()
I loved Devil in the WHite City. I'm a sucker for books based on historical events and thought the detail fascinating. I live just a couple blocks where the faire was. Its now the University of Chicago. The Museum of Science and Industry here is the only building left standing from that World's fair. Cool huh?
Currently I am reading Eldest, sequel to Eragon. It is WAY better than the movie. This kid is pretty darn talented. Hes probably Tolkein reincarnated or something. The third book comes out in August I think
Next up is, like everyone else, to re-read all six HP books in time for the big finale. It will be tough, but I'm up to the challenge methinks

the Museum of Science and Industry. It's a must-see almost every time I visit. The statue of The Republic that's behind it (is that the name of it?) - that's the creepiest looking thing I ever saw! One of my cousins works at the University of Chicago. And if you should happen to visit Jackson Park, say hello to my grandfather for me - one of my uncles scattered some of his ashes there last summer (don't tell!)

Hey Liz!
What's up???![]()
Not my spirits...my ex-husband had a ton of nasty things to say to me again tonight. He hates me. He's made it perfectly clear that I'm a terrible person.
Sorry to be such a downer.

I'm here enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee.
