Special Ed....my undergrad is Early Childhood Ed. :thumbsup2

What does he want to do when he's done?

Well this is the situation, he has worked at our company as Field Operations Manager since graduation 2004. He really wanted to get his Masters but in the meantime loves his job with us..engineering/land surveying...so upon grad he will look into getting himself certified by the state of MA as a registered/licensed land surveyor!!! Seems like allot of schooling left for him.

Anyone can do land surveying and anyone can do engineering BUT the money lies in the CERTIFICATION, who is the one that STAMPS the PLANS...which is my DH and so Chris knows there is good money in that and will pursue that...He was offered a teaching job (history) at our high school upon graduation in 2004 but turned it down.

That sounds great, Kar!!!

I tried a new drink recipe tonight that I think I'll serve on Chrismtas morning. I usually serve mimosas (champagne and OJ), but I wanted to try something new.

It's called Frosty OJ.....it was soooo good!

1 cup OJ
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 t vanilla extract
5-6 ice cubes

Add all ingredients to blender and mix!
I am going to quadruple to recipe to make more, but I wanted to try it out first tonight. :thumbsup2

So, T, you and DH talked last night or tonight (was it) and you are going to go to WDW for Halloween and for free dining???
We talked about it over dinner tonight. I could tell he was in a good mood, so I thought it was the perfect time to broach the subject. ;)
If I get a job offer, we'll probably bump it back and do a Disney cruise for Christmas.

I will still have 2 classes that I will be taking in the fall, so I won't be considered "highly qualified" in terms of being a special ed teacher. I am a highly qualified reg ed teacher, but job openings for reg ed teachers are far and few between around here. However, many schools need special ed teachers and may hire me even though I'm not completely done with my master's. It just all depends on if they're more qualified applicants. If I don't get hired, I will have to student teach in the spring....if I do get hired, I can use my own classroom as my student teaching experience. Clear as mud??
