It's so nice and quiet right now. I have the Christmas tree lit, the kids are still sleeping, I'm having my coffee while catching up on my DISing. It's pure heaven I tell you.

Sorry, Triica! I'm checking out the links to the WPASADI cruise ship entries. They are pretty neat!

Yes, Paige is still planning her trip, I asked her yesterday.

So Bon, how long are you off? My kids go back to school on January 2nd.

I go back on the 2nd as well. But for now I'm going to enjoy my time off! Yesterday I stayed home and did nothing all day long!! Today I'm going to take the girls to the library. Tomorrow we are taking the metro into D.C. and meeting up with Brent (at a stop in Alexandria, where he works). We're going to tour the National Cathedral and if there is time, maybe do a Smithsonian Museum. We always do the Smithsonian when we go into D.C. Those museums are awesome!!

What is the weather like there in LA?

It's a dreary cold day here. No sunshine yet.
Bon I love D.C. I've only been once and would love to go back one day. The Smithsonian was awesome. We did get to tour the White House. They was cool. So much to do there and we had so little time to try and squeeze it all in.

I toured the white house when I was 14. But right now it is closed because it is considered war time and they only do tours right now wtih big, organized groups. So my girls are going to have to wait!

I know, I'm so happy to live near cool stuff finally! We have nothing historical in Vegas! My kids used to have lame field trips to redrock or the old mormon fort.

Now, Caitlin's 4th grade class went to Jamestown (historical town near Williamsburg) and Heather's 7th grade field trip was to D.C. landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, etc. What a difference!

Bonnie I have to run. I'm not sure if I mentioned or not that today is my DS's Birthday. I'm off to make cake.

everyone. Hope everybody had a great Christmas. I have to take ds-8 to doctor today (he had tubes put in his ears a few months ago). Then we are taking kids to see the movie "Night at the Museum"
