Morning everyone. Yesterday was a busy day for me at work. Had to make up a new employee mailing list, that took awhile. Then I had to stuff 401k letters for our LANL people. And then I had the large payroll to run. So I was a Winner at work.

At home...not so much. I havn't been grocery shopping in weeks and we are getting down to the bare bones in the pantry. So I made a package of pasta and mixed in a jar of pasta sauce. For 2 bucks I got at least 6 meals. Can't beat that.

I've been riding the Loser train for a few days now. No Winner moments to share.

I've contemplated getting off my butt and cleaning. And by cleaning, I mean the bare minimal. But I just can't get motivated.

I did some laundry a few days ago -- but it was just enough so that my DS8 would have clothes to wear to school til today. He has off tomorrow, so I guess he'll just have to run around nekkid.

Good thing I don't have plans on leaving the house tomorrow!!

All 3 of the kiddos are doing better today. How do I know, you ask? They were fighting & whining (DD) earlier this morning.
I told DD she needed to clean her room today and she asked me, "Do I need to clean it for the Easter Bunny?"
I said yeah that right he wants it to be cleaned for when he visits.
I'll have to go back and check to see if she is still cleaning or if she blew off the Easter Bunny and is staring at her tv.

DH looked (for all of 2 seconds) and then declared that I was in need of some form of medication.

Hisser is probably still here, probably laying baby snake eggs. Maybe the kids will find them when they do the easter egg hunt.

I have to work on the house today. Looks like a couple of kids may show up for the birthday party, so now it's like...a birthday party, but a lame one. Maybe I can just shove everything into the spare bedroom, I dunno if there's room from the last shoving..I can close the door pretty quick if necessary..I will update with progress reports...

Mornin' Losers!

I have to go get groceries today. I'm not looking forward to the Commissary but I gotta go--the kids have been home all week and are eating everything! At least I'm not going on payday. I am not crowd person.
LMT--glad the kids are better, but sorry they are fighting. WIsh I could convince my kids the Easter Bunny won't come if their rooms aren't clean. MK--I hated it when DH coached BBall and everyone would call all day to ask if there would be practice. First, they know he is at work and second, if it's cancelled we'll let you know!
DDM--I love Mimi's for lunch! Was it yummy?

I will boil my eggs tomorrow and dye them Saturday. My kids love love love deviled eggs and potato salad with lots of hb eggs so I am spared the blowing. I also have to make a bday cake for DD's bday. She wants chocolate so I think I can handle that. I just use box mix but I make my own frosting.

DH is talking about leaving work early because his hip hurts from last night's fall off the countertop....and he's thinking of heading downtown to see if he can get tickets (that don't cost $500) for some of the NCAA Basketball games here in Omaha.
