Since when do they take school pictures 2x a year Do the kids really change all that much in 6 months Both of mine have 2nd pictures at the end of next week. I know we don't have to purchase them but I remember once a year in the fall we got our pictures done and my kids get them 2x - Fall and then Spring. For the price I pay I should dress them up in Christmas attire & Easter attite and leave out the family pictures

Ya know...if I even suspected there was a snake in my house...I would be at the nearest hotel.

Though at my parents house they once found a RATTLESNAKE in MY bathtub. They think it slithered up the willow tree on the side of the house to the roof and got in through a vent. So it is possible that the hisser is the one that did the deed in your bathtub.

I can hardly take the kids to the movies anymore. DD always rats me out to the ticket takers "Mommy has candy in her purse" Gee, thanks kid.

I pack stuff in my purse and take it to the movies too. Bottled water, whatever! I don't even care if the workers know it!

I have to continue my "oh crap people are coming for Easter" cleaning today.

I have to clean the boys bathroom. I'm thinking of medicating myself first.

I've been riding the Loser train for a few days now. No Winner moments to share.

I've contemplated getting off my butt and cleaning. And by cleaning, I mean the bare minimal. But I just can't get motivated.

I did some laundry a few days ago -- but it was just enough so that my DS8 would have clothes to wear to school til today. He has off tomorrow, so I guess he'll just have to run around nekkid.

Good thing I don't have plans on leaving the house tomorrow!!

DH was complaining last night he didn't have underwear and I had to correct him....Ah yes dear you do have underwear.....it is in the pile of clean clothes that we are calling Mount Loveseat that the kids believe is really a pile of leaves to jump in

Hi everyone. I should be fixing lunch, but I missed it over here. So I got caught up. We have already been to speech & cleaned some, more to do today though
Has anyone gone to see Horton? My 4 yo's have never been to the movies so I wondered if that would be one that would keep their attention. Maybe take all 4 kids at some point soon.

About snacks at the movies, for the last several years it has been my dd sneaking in the snacks for them in her purse as I am usually at home w/ the little ones!

I jsut told DS10 that yes he can invite a friend over but it ahs to eb a friend who "gets" that I am in the process of cleaning and wont be freaked out that I havent swept the Fruit Loops off the floor yet. He chose wisely

He is now downstairs straightneing up the basement. I figured I will DIS fo a little while longer bc when the kid gets here they will either play in here where the video games are or downstairs so I may be bansished from my computer for awhile.

Hello, everyone!!!! Supposed to be working at home today, but you can see what I'm managing to get accomplished! I have, however, managed to convince the DB (we live together) to go to the grocery store after work (he's RIGHT THERE, after all), and run errands to pick up a part from the parts store and wash the truck. Now, if I can only convince him to clean the house, do the dishes and the laundry (since HE DID help make the mess) then I'd be doing good!! We do have a kid free night as we are both off tomorrow and the kids are with friends. Sent him a message and told him since we were child free we were dating tonight and he found that funny. I'm definitely going out somewhere ---with or without him!!! Hope you all have a great day!!!!!

Our mall has an indoor playground. We got there an hour before the mall opened so there were only two other kids there when we got there...by the time the mall opens, the place is like the lord of the flies for toddlers and they're all screaching at once, but if you go early it's a good way for the kids to let off steam.

Yup, we saw Horton...the place was packed with kids, which was great...I didn't care if mine were loud. I went with a friend and her two kids (one of which is my daughter's age). She and I lead the Daisy troup together and she's a Disney nut. She's a Diser, but doesn't post.

Hmm. I can cop to A. I can't cop to D because that would imply that I actually put stuff away when people come over. C I disavow all knowledge of because Christmas lights are not in my job description. The exterior of the mansion and grounds is DH's domain.

I told my kids that if Santa broke his leg on the toys the left on the living room floor that he'd sue mommy and daddy and we'd have to sell them as elves to pay off the debt.
