Morning....

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: OMG! The waxing story is fantastic!

Off to work...I'm now officially coughing up blood...it's not much, but I'm thinking that's a bad thing. Maybe I'll call the doctor.

My rule of thumb: Blood coming out of either end=not good.

Call the doctor and I hope you feel better:hug:

:yay: :yay: All the kids slept thru the night :yay: :yay:
Crud that means I have no excuse to not do anything around the house today:headache:

Hope you feel better soon Lara

Morning everybody!!

I love the waxing story!! It's certainly something that only a LOSER could do.

So, here I am, sick as a dog, and leaving for Florida in two days.

I've decided that even though I hate doctors, I have to go. I call up my doctors office and tell them I reaaaaaaaally need an appointment.

She asks if this is a regular visit or if I'm having problems. I tell her that I have a fever, cough, I'm weezing, lightheaded, and I'm leaving for Florida in two days, so I really need to see him ASAP.

She's clicking on her little computer forever and doesn't say anything. She then tells me that my doc is triple booked, but the other doctor could see me.

Well, I nearly have a heart attack, and I tell her that the last time I saw the OTHER doctor, I had pneumonia, he never diagnosed it, he never even listened to my lungs, and sent me on my way. So I really didn't want to see him.

She said that there's nothing she can do, except take my phone number.

Looks like I'll be miserable in Florida!!

Do you have a Patient First near you?

Working in a hospital has it's advantages....just got an appointment with my doc for this afternoon.:headache:

Sorry so many of you are feeling like the weather around here today.....

dreary and icky! Hopefully those docs give you guys some good drugs ;)

I was about to say huh? or say maybe you're hungry & you thought someone said it. Then I scrolled up the page :lmao:

I never miss cake or pie..so where is it..did I miss out?

LaraK and Thats_For_Shore and everyone else who is sick..I'm so sorry. I hope you can get to a DR. TFS..can you go to another one at another office? anything would be better than what you are going thru. We have after hours clinics here, but I think our insurance only covers if you actually go after hours. You should see someone before you go, get some meds and start feeling better..No one should be sick at WDW..

Fingers crossed..I am now in my 4th day of a slightly sore throat, after 2 weeks of creeping crud. I am thinking of seeing a DR, too. We have a Nurse Practioner at our DRs office if the DR can't see you..

OK, I have high hopes again today. I didn't even try to finish my list yesterday..

let me see if I can remember what was left.

1) did it

2) Clean Kitchen

3) Sweep Floors

4) Wash floor of slobbermouth

5) Hem 4 pair of jeans so I can wear something besides the one pair I have for volunteering at school..

6) Stuff candy bags for Valentines' parties at school-50 of em

7) Sew/attach badges, pins, belt thingies on DS's Cubscout uniforms. I have had the new one(DS8's first) for 5 months and havent' attached a single thing to it. I don't know how we managed to not need it before now.

That's enough to get me started..I'll check in after every task as my reward..you guys be good, don't get me sucked into another "interesting" thread...you know who I'm talking to, don't you Lintasare??

IAHD- That wax story makes me laugh every single time I read it. :lmao: Thanks for reposting it.

Maybe? Lara, Lara, Lara. CALL THE DAMN DOCTOR.

My rule of thumb: Blood coming out of either end=not good.

I wish I was a tag fairy. :rotfl:

That's ambitious. I love stuffing bags. I'd do that for you!

I miss that my oldest is too old for holiday parties at school. Oh, well... just another year, and my middle one will be in Pre-K, and I can stuff to my heart's content.

My baby will be starting school.

Wait... my baby will be starting school. :yay: :yay:

Oh man! That waxing story was hilarious! I scared the cat laughing so loud.
:lmao:
But he stuck around knowing there was cereal milk to be had.

Good Morning LOSERS! I regret to inform you that I am not allowed to have anymore LOSER days until next Saturday. That bites. ;) Between the party this Sat (of which I officially have 63 people confirmed to descend upon my house at one time :scared1: ) and a whole passle of relatives (not mine, hubbys, w/the extra added bonus of 6 kids :scared1: )being here all of next week, there will be no rest for the weary in this house. I promise not to make anything from scratch or serve 4 course home-cooked meals. I just have to make sure there are clean sheets & towels, some basic food necessities & that the litterbox doesn't smell. I can guarantee nothing crafty will be going on. I already waged the never-ending war against the ants in the yard & will be continuing the fight against weeds. Not to mention the constant battle of the dust & dirty finger prints. At this rate I may not live to see Sat.

I will not be waxing anything in the meantime.
I would also like to place my order for an extra large mixed drink & a giant slice of cake. That just may help me get through it. Thanks! :)

Everybody get well. I can't stand to hear that everyone is so sick. I hate this time of year!
Shore, is there a walk in clinic you could go to? Or how about the emergency room. I hope you feel better soon!

Makes me glad that we get snow! It at least COVERS the yard and makes it LOOK presentable.

I don't have cake but I DO have a Mrs. Smiths Cinabon Apple Pie

Ooops, I slipped up, you guys are supposed to be thinking I am working....bye..

Morning Losers,

Yesterday was the dentist day. It was DS3 first visit ever. He did pretty well, except for he kept spitting out the film to take his x-rays. I think I had to put it in his mouth about 7 times. No cavaties.:thumbsup2

DS5 did great, until DH decided to put sealants on his teeth. He was freaking. They were jamming all kinds of stuff in his mouth and he was crying. DH of course didn't explain to them he has a disability. The girls were really manhandling him and telling him it wasn't that bad. I went in to help after I was done with DS3. He did a little better. I explained to the girls what the deal was and they were much nicer. Poor guy, never wants to go to the dentist again.

Just in case you are wondering, nothing says 'Let's have more kids' like a blow out in the middle of the night. Actually I think it's more like, "Thank God we aren't having more kids". Laundry at 2:30am does that to a girl. DH was nice enough to get up and help too. Awww, I really do love him.

It's a late start for DD7 and I have no plans for the day. The roads are super slick, and wind blown. Hopefully we won't be doing any off roading today.

Lara and TFS: Get thee to a Doctor! I hope you guys feel better soon.

Cinderellerbelle: Good luck with all of the company.:thumbsup2
