Good afternoon losers.

I went to church and the grocery store afterwards. I haven't done anything since then. I was going to take a nap. My DH put in a movie for the boys and is now sleeping. I am awake, I am a loser but, not stupid.

DS5 is going to have to go to the pediatrician tomorrow. I was such a loser last week that when I took him in I didn't have them grow the culture. I should have because I know he has strep throat. They took a preliminary one and it came back negative, so I thought I was safe. Poor guy he hasn't eaten hardly anything in 2 days.

I was such a loser last night that I watched Prettty Woman. It must have been shown with some extra parts because I don't remember her putting ketchup on her steak at the fancy restaurant. Did I forget that part? The outfits were funny to look back on though. Gotta love the big hair, and Jason Alexander was somewhat skinny.

My husband last night kept asking me about the "chat" site. Funny. I tried to explain that it was a message board. I had to explain to him that you were all girls, and moms. We have been together for almost 17 years, we have been married for 12. Yes honey, I would love to start all over again. NOT!!!!

This board, and I don't just mean this thread, but the whole board seems to lean heavily to the northeast. I'm always a long way from everyone. :headache:
You're not alone. I'm waaay over here on the West Coast. I'll be avoiding the DIS all Thurs, so I don't hear what happens on Lost before I watch it. Oh, and by the way, kids aren't the only ones who play the fart game. Yesterday I was kneeling on the bathroom floor, leaning a wallpaper book against the wall to look at a sample. My black Lab walks in, farts in my face and immediately leaves. I guess it was his contribution to stripping what remained of the original wallpaper. Gee, thanks.

hey loser pals of mine,
What is going on. It is snowing here a little. DH John wants to know what is for supper. I thinking what ever he feels like driving to get. I had a qiute morning until his mother of all mothers showed up. She goes from being on what she thinks is her death bed to being full of pi-- and vinager. I swear they cast the mother on two and half men with her in mind. But they had to tone down the one on tv.:lmao: :lmao:

Hey Losers, I am at my parents house doing laundry and waiting for my dad to return with my mom and grandma. They flew in this afternoon from visiting my grandma's sisters in CA and HI. I am mad at my dad though...I asked him if I had enough time to run to Target for laundry soap and he said yes and when I got back he was gone. So I missed out of lunch with my grandma. I am so ticked off at him.

So last night I went to a Pampered Chef party and spent money. But I got kitchen stuff I know I will use. Like a cheese knife. Then I went to a friend's house and we watched Phantom of the Opera. And I don't care what they do to Gerard Butler...the man is hot.

So yeah that was my day.

Gotta figure out what to do for dinner.

I came home from work, sent my hubby to a watermans thing in Ocean City, DIS'ed for a while, then sent my kids upstairs to play quietly while I took a nap on the couch.

I was napping pretty good, until I awoke to a huge BOOM! Turns out DS8 was trying to plug something into his TV, and caused it to fall on the floor. UH-OH!!

I tried to pick it up, so DH won't kill DS, but I'm much too weak to pick that thing up. So there it lays, in the floor til DH gets home.

DS is busy whining that "Daddy will never let me watch TV again!!"

Hey, I try to do the good Mommy thing and hide whatever the kids tear up, but that ain't gonna happen with this one.

TFS....glad to see you survived your last night at work....on the TV thing :lmao: "you just wait til you FATHER gets home"

I don't hide things the kids do, but DH does, he's the softy.

First, glad to know I'm not alone... but we are still way far away from each other as well as everyone else. Sigh. All those talks of mini meets and whatnot on threads? Yeah, I'm never close enough.

Second, :lmao: I can SO picture the dog fart. My dog will fart, look over her back at whomever is closest with a look on her face like, "Why did YOU do that?" Then she will get up, shake, and leave. :snooty:

DH is the disciplinarian, I'm the "Aw, honey, come and cuddle with Mommy and it'll be alright" softy.

DH and I look at things differently most of the time. Like this TV thing, for example. He will probably ground DS from watching TV until he can "learn to take care of his stuff" whereas I know he didn't mean to do it, it's not like he threw it on the floor.

I think we both have valid points. I mean, how far do you have to push the TV before you knock it off? DS should have been paying more attention. But it was still an accident. He didn't do it on purpose.

My DH is not a stupid man.

I thought I should get that out of the way. He is grilling steaks on our gas grill for dinner. Woo hoo, less work for me.

DS2 decides to "share" his Gogurt and DH has to go wash up at the exact moment that he feels the steaks need to be turned, so he asked me to go turn them.

I did. What did I happen to see sitting on the shelf right beside the hot-to-the-touch dome of the grill? The can of Pam he used to spray the grill so the steaks won't stick. Helllloooo? Ever heard of keeping aerosol away from high heat or open flame? Apparently not!

I find that I'm harder on the girl and he's harder on the boy...I wonder if that's normal?

That is how it goes at my house. Not sure if it's normal though.

I am the softy that hides some of the stuff from him. I think he helps them hide stuff from me too. I know 20 minutes before he comes home we clean like mad. You know, so we don't look like complete losers.

I love Pampered Chef. I have a bunch of their stuff. I think my favorite is the cookie scoop, and we also have the pitcher that stirs itself.

I love the adjustable measuring spoons....less dishes!

our DD nows dad is the easy one. I am tuffer on her. So when she want anything that she knows is in doubt of getting she goes to dad. If there is a chance he says no. (not that he does that to often) all she has to say is but Dad. And it is hers.

Maybe it has something to do with Daddy's Little Girls and Momma's Boys? Cuz you never hear of Momma's Girls and Daddy's Boys.

The pitcher that stirs itself?!?!?!

Yeah, it has this stirring thing in the bottom of it that is attached to a handle on the top. You grab the handle and pull it up and down and your stuff stirs. It's called a quick stir pitcher if you want to google it.

hmmmm.....sounds like a thread topic...maybe I'll post it after I get dinner started....

Marinaded meat tonight....with rice and broccoli. I use London Broil....
