The Lesser Known Eighth Dwarf, Dumpy, Comes to Disney Aug '11 **NEW 2/20 TR link!!!

Had to go back and catch up on all your Epcot updates. Looks like a great day! How nice of that couple to include you so you guys got the fastpass too.

That retro Epcot shirt is pretty cool! Don't you hate it when you see something and regret not getting it? :sad2:

Wow, those Brazilians sure look bored out of their minds. The little one in front looks a little bit scared-maybe she thought the door wouldn't open?

Mmm, those pretzel breadsticks from Le Cellier look really good.

I now have Barenaked Ladies stuck in my head....

Like Kurasawa I make mad films
Okay, I don't make films
But if I did they'd have a Samurai

And no, I didn't have to look up those lyrics.

Do you know that song or do you think I'm just some crazy lady now? :rotfl2:

I hope Stitch's ankle holds up! Eeeeek.

Well of course Stitch hurt her ankle -- she was trying to keep up with Jenbear at Disney. It was bound to happen sooner or later, I'm surprised she hadn't pulled a hamstring already! ;)

Voices of Liberty too patriotic??? If they sang "O Canada" you'd be sobbing into your tuque, eh.

Wow, that's a lot of walking! I wouldn't want to travel all the way around WS over and over again, even with good ankles. I sure hope Stitch's ankle holds up! I know there has to be a TSMM mad dash at DHS somewhere in your future! No way you take Stitch to WDW and not take her on TSMM!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Oh dear, I hope the ankle holds up! Poor Stitch!
I heard the English Channel a bit too. They sounded pretty good!
I understand what you mean about the Voices of Liberty... I guess maybe you have to be American to properly get the right feeling? :confused3

Maybe. I'm not sure what it was. Maybe the last song they sang which was the most patriotic. It wasn't the national anthem I don't think. Oh well, I can't remember

Oh no!! I hope your friend was able to hold up :( I love the epcot ball pic, so cool!!

I can thank Stitch and her good eye on the picture. She was the one who stopped to take a picture. Then I followed suit LOL.

I didn't know The Beatles had been replaced !!!Can't wait to hear the English Channel !!! Hope they are not as ROUGH as the real Channel !!!

Where have you been Rosie?! :rotfl: And no, I don't think they are as rough as the real one. There's only one way to find out.....:lmao:

Great update Jen.:thumbsup2 Though I'm a little worried about Stitch's ability to keep up with you since she has a bum ankle! Yikes. I hope it didn't bother her greatly. Come to think of it, didn't Bubba have a lame foot too on one of your trips? You need sturdier travel companions!

You're right. Bubba did have problems at one point. I can't remember what body part it was...no wait! It was a blister on her foot :rotfl: I really run people to the ground don't I? I wonder what I'll do to DBF? :rolleyes1

You know, I love Epcot but my favorite section is actually Future World. Though I do love Maelstrom! Apparently you did not! That's ok, I won't think badly of you now.

But I like Maelstrom!

Man, that caramel apple would have been calling my name till I snatched it up. However did you manage to NOT buy one? You must be made of steel.

It was very hard let me tell you. Although we did buy a few Werther's candies to tie us over.

I hope you made it on to Spaceship Earth before you left. That should have been ok for Stitch since you sit for so long, right?

You will see.

And yes, you should've just bought that crystal Bambi. It's so cute!

Maybe that will be my first (and only) purchase next trip.

Yes, and where have you been? J/K :rotfl2:

That retro Epcot shirt is pretty cool! Don't you hate it when you see something and regret not getting it? :sad2:

It's super annoying. I really need to stop doing that.

Wow, those Brazilians sure look bored out of their minds. The little one in front looks a little bit scared-maybe she thought the door wouldn't open?

If she was scared, she really kept it to herself.

Mmm, those pretzel breadsticks from Le Cellier look really good.

I wish they sold them in bulk!

I now have Barenaked Ladies stuck in my head....

Like Kurasawa I make mad films
Okay, I don't make films
But if I did they'd have a Samurai

I don't think you're crazy! I think it's awesome you know that reference to Barenaked Ladies :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Anyone who was growing up in the 90s knows the lyrics to that song.

Well of course Stitch hurt her ankle -- she was trying to keep up with Jenbear at Disney. It was bound to happen sooner or later, I'm surprised she hadn't pulled a hamstring already! ;)

I tend to have that effect on people

Voices of Liberty too patriotic??? If they sang "O Canada" you'd be sobbing into your tuque, eh.

Actually I find our anthem pretty dull and monotone. I wish they'd bring back God save the Queen yet it's probably too politically incorrect. At least I think that's why we don't use it anymore :confused3

I need to start splitting up WS into two days. No matter what I do, we always end up doing the whole thing. The TSMM dash is coming :thumbsup2

Great update, Jen. We have tried to do WS in one day...it just doesn't work for us. Unfortunately, this trip we missed a couple of movies (we had rain one night) and lots of the shops (trying to get as much in as we could with our son with us). I hope Stitch's ankle holds up.

Yay World Showcase! I really must spend more time in there, it just seems like I'm missing so much. The English Channel sounds really cool. I never got to see The British Invasion perform, though I love the Beatles, but it seems there are just too many cheesy tribute groups, so I think The English Channel is a good change in my opinion, but that's just me (:

Love the picture of the fountain in front of France, it is just so pretty. No wonder they sometimes have a Photopass out near there. And I really must see Impressions de France, sounds like a great show and France is one country I don't know too much about so it'd be cool to see a snapshot into the place.

Glad to hear you ran into the nice British people again, so great when you meet nice people like that in Disney. And I totally agree about Morocco, it really isn't a great pavilion, unless Aladdin and Jasmine are out or you like places like Morocco... very unique taste.

Love the Voices of Liberty! I can see where you aren't in favor of them being so patriotic, but I don't care so much about lyrics when it comes to amazing singing. I personally think they are the best singing group in Disney, though I still have yet to listen to the Dapper Dans, which sound great but Voices of Liberty, oh, FANTASTIC! :teeth:

Those little glass figurines in the Germany shop are so pretty. I want one! If only I could be that rich to buy one every trip :cloud9: Oh well, maybe once every so often lol I also need to make note of the Caramel shop, YUM!

So glad I found someone who isn't crazy about Maelstrom. It totally isn't worth a huge wait. There are so many better rides in EPCOT, though it is sorta fun at night. I think if they maybe updated it or something it would be better, but for now, not that good.

Can't wait to hear more (hopefully your friend did survive through the night. IllumiNations )! :mickeyjum

Great update! We changed our plans on our last day to head to Epcot so we could get the caramel apple (we got the one that was caramel, then chocolate with the big W on it) one more time before heading home....my absolute favorite treat of our trip!

I sure hope that ankle holds up...but it's not sounded good:confused3

We didn't make it back to the Carmel Shop unfortunately !!Judy had her eye on at least one of the cookies and me on a cupcake !!!Maybe this trip!!!

I have sat and read this in one go and am now waiting for an update!! Sounds like you had ana amzing trip and you have been very lucky with missing crowds so far.

Poor Stitch...I hope she makes it through the rest of the night.

Yum, treats around the world:thumbsup2 That caramel apple looks so good.

Nice that you got to see a lot of shows while walking World Showcase.

I agree with you about Voices of Liberty. I like their voices very much, but for me too they're a little on the patriotic side. Just not quite my style.

MMM Treats around the World is SUCH a great idea! I love World Showcase.

I hope Stitch holds out!! Poor girl.

It's really hard to do WS in one day. It seems like you can at first until you start walking

I'd have to agree with you on that.

It's a great video. Makes you want to get on a plane on go straight there!

It is unique and I don't think I'd ever want to visit the real country unless I had someone like Liesa (All7OfUs) escorting me :rotfl:

It must be a jealousy thing since I cannot sing at. all.

Oh, I've never ridden it at night! Must be so cool.

That carmel apple looks so delicious! How much is the Bambi roughly?

Hmmm well I think (and this is going to be a big guess) it's around $40.

I gotta try the caramel/chocolate apple. I've heard such good things about it.

We didn't make it back to the Carmel Shop unfortunately !!Judy had her eye on at least one of the cookies and me on a cupcake !!!Maybe this trip!!!

You must get something!!! :cloud9:

:welcome: You are quite the trooper to read it all in one go. I'm glad you've liked it so far :goodvibes

I was hoping the same thing! Treats around the world was awesome!

Nice that you got to see a lot of shows while walking World Showcase.

Yes, that must be it. Just not my style either! Some people love them though which is totally cool too.

MMM Treats around the World is SUCH a great idea! I love World Showcase.

I hope Stitch holds out!! Poor girl.

It was so much fun! Especially if you have a big sweet tooth like me :teeth:

I love the store in Japan, I spent a lot of time in there on my recent trip, and I really fell in love with it! :thumbsup2

I'm glad you got to see the Voices of Liberty, I've only seen them once, and really loved them, but I like patriotic stuff! :) I can see how they're not for everyone, though!

Mmmm those caramel apples in Germany look SO good! I can seriously never decide what to get in Karamel Kuche, it's a problem! :rotfl:

I love Maelstrom, I'd totally wait 20 minutes for it!

It's very hard to decide in Karamel Kuche. I seriously want to buy the whole store. My hat goes off to you in being willing to wait 20 min for Maelstrom!
