The Lesser Known Eighth Dwarf, Dumpy, Comes to Disney Aug '11 **NEW 2/20 TR link!!!

:thumbsup2 I voted too Jen. Pixel really IS adorable and I loved your quote about how she belongs in the spotlight!:goodvibes How's that update coming?? Hmmm? :rolleyes1

Thank you to everyone who has voted so far. If you get an error message (which has happened to me a lot) it means the site is overloaded. Just keep on trying and it will work eventually. Remember you can vote once every day so keep on voting (if you remember of course.... I'm not forcing you or anything :rolleyes1 )

***Thanks again to everyone who continues to vote for my dog. I know I'm a long shot but hopefully Pixel will get in the top 10 :thumbsup2 Voting ends November 17th.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Life has been super busy lately. My next trip to the world is less than 2 weeks away. Our itinerary is set and we all have the time off work :thumbsup2 Other big news is I'm moving....again. I've moved way too many times in my life to count. This time it's moving in with the boyfriend. It's been quite stressful to say the least to figure out a moving day and getting everything ready in combination with working and going away at the end of this month. So please bear with me as I go through this transition.

Work has gotten a LOT busier with the winter season approaching so I have absolutely no time to read the DIS while at work. Darn. I can't slack off anymore  ***

After walking around the entire WS, we were back at the front of the park. Now was as good a time as any to ride Spaceship Earth.

I think Stitch was ecstatic to be off her feet for a bit. When we got on the ride, it stalled right at the point where you get your picture taken

At least it stopped taking pictures so we weren't blinded by the flash every 30 seconds.

With my new camera, I was able to get some great ride pics.

I told Stitch we could start heading towards Beaches & Cream for dinner. What she didn't know was that we'd have to walk back to the International Gateway. Big mistake. It was not going to happen. Stitch's ankle was at it's breaking point (almost literally) and there was no way she was going to be able to walk all that way. So we decided to walk towards the buses to grab one to Beach Club. I was pretty sure there weren't any buses to the Beach Club since it's right beside Epcot. Yup. I was right. There was no bus to the Beach/Yacht club. What I wonder is what do people do who stay there and have mobility issues or are just too tired to walk all the way back? Do they have to take a taxi too? Or bite the bullet and walk? The whole set up seemed odd to us. At that point I was prepared to do whatever I could to help Stitch so we hopped in a taxi and got to the Beach Club in 5 minutes. The taxi driver even said to us that we could have walked. We politely told him we knew that but our feet were tired

We waited about 10-15 min before we got a table at Beaches & Cream. It was now close to 8:30pm so we knew we wouldn't make it for Illuminations. We took our time and enjoyed ourselves at B&C.

We were both still pretty full from lunch so we decided ice cream for dinner was the best route to take. I knew exactly what we had to order.

The No Way Jose :thumbsup2 This was SO yummy. The only thing I would change is have it only with vanilla ice cream. The chocolate makes it a bit overkill.

While we were polishing off our huge pile of ice cream, a family sitting at a table beside us got the Kitchen Sink.

That's what we would've got if we had had a DIS meet with another certain family :rolleyes1

We headed back to the resort after B&C. For the life of me I can't remember how we got back to CSR. We either took the boat or bus to DHS and then transferred to a CSR bus. Or we can just say we sprinkled some pixie dust on ourselves and flew back. When we got back to CSR, we took a leisurely stroll around the lake to check out the Dig Site.

I was excited to see that Up was playing that night at the pool.

We decided that we'd have to look at the movie schedule and make sure we spend a night at the pool. It's great how the resorts have so many activities. You can never worry about being bored!

Happy that I finally saw the Dig Site, we headed back to our room to get some well deserved sleep. We had an early wake up call the next morning for our next park.

Great update, Jen. But don't you just hate when the real world messes with the important DIS time? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

We have never done Beaches & Cream and I really want to get there one of these trips.

I love that the CSR is now showing poolside movies...they never did that before.

Great update! Love the pics of SE! It's so hard to get good pics on that ride.

So sorry that Stitch's ankle was that bad. :( Good thing you took a load off and had some ice cream for dinner! :thumbsup2

Haha maybe you did fly back to CSR! I love the Dig Site! I watched Up at AKL this past August and I loved it. I hadn't seen the whole thing until then and it was SO adorable. (:

Can't wait to hear about Animal Kingdom! ;)

It's the worst!!!

We have never done Beaches & Cream and I really want to get there one of these trips.

I've always had a nice time at B&C. I've only ever had their ice cream so can't vouch for their regular food. You have to like ice cream and lots of it!

I love that the CSR is now showing poolside movies...they never did that before.

Really? It really suits the party atmosphere but I'd hate to have a room near the dig site. The movie is played LOUD

LOL, yours is like the 3rd TR I've read in the past couple of days where someone has gotten that sundae. Why have I not been there yet?! Even though I've never had the No Way Jose I bet you're right about vanilla vs. chocolate. I tend to prefer vanilla anyway but I'm sure it's still really good!
