Things are good in Chicagoland. DH was off with me today and we were still putting away the extra dishes, bowls, etc. from Christmas Eve. Did a few other things, and then made a pork roast on the new Popiell (sp?) roaster we got from his brother. It turns the roast on a spit. It came out great.

Kim is whining! Marilyn takes a snowball out of her stash and flings it at Kim. Woo hoo! Got her on the left shoulder and the snow splattered all over the back of her neck. Ya still bored missy?)

Beth, the WD Treasures are kind of historical compilations. This year they released:
Mickey Mouse in Black and White
The Complete Goofy (every solo Goofy toon)
Behind the Scenes at the WD Studios (incl Reluctant Dragon)

Each is a 2 DVD set & is "hosted" by Leonard Maltin (well, just a snippet at the beginning). Last year they released:
Mickey Mouse in Color
Disneyland USA (several TV specials)
Silly Symphonies
Davy Crockett

They're all a neat way to look back and see things from the Studios that you normally wouldn't see (like every toon that Goofy starred in by himself, including all the "how to" classic shorts).

I now have the 3 new ones, plus the Disneyland and Mickey in Color DVDs. I still want the Silly Symphonies set, but they're kinda hard to find. You have to find the older ones at Best Buy or other video stores. TDS sold out long, long ago.

I'd highly recommend them for all Dis fans. Lots of cool footage on them.

I was laughing so hard Christmas Eve. My two little nieces opened up a couple gifts and both had a doll in their hand. I asked them, "oh, who is that", and they both said

BETTY SKETTI!!!!!

When I started laughing everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but that picture on the left of Apolo is a good one.

Sounds like everyone had a great Christmas. We had a good one this year also. half of Tims family was here on Sat. and things went well. Only had a few complaints from the MIL so that was pretty good. We somehow got stuck with her spending the night also. I don't know how but everytime its someone else's turn to have her we always end up with her. Someone is outsmarting me and I don't like it! Oh well she was better than usual and we did survive.

The boys got almost everything they wanted for Christmas and the things they didn't oh well you can't have everything.b Tim and I felt sick yesterday but are feeling better. Its Tim's Birthday today. He's "29" for the 10th time. . we went to TGIF's for dinner and he got serrenaded by a bunch of women. He just hid under his napkin. It was pretty funny.

Got to say that I am completely out of the game loop. We still have Super Nintendo and Playstation at our house. Really don't miss the days of trying to find the latest game. I bought the family a board game this Christmas but we haven't had a chance to play yet. I got Cranium. Allison has played it before and said that it was a lot of fun.

Steve and I went to see Catch Me If You Can tonight. It was a very entertaining movie.

Well, I have been told that my palm pilot is now ready. I am going upstairs to start inputing information. Will catch up with you all later.

*Kim runs around behind the ski lodge after Marilyn finally lets her up out of the snow bank... Kim grabs a bucket, fills it with snow and sneats passed the spa (awww man! That's disgusting! Which YaYa is that in the spa with Granny?!? Gross!) into the back door of the lodge and vewy vewy quietly tiptoes to Marilyn's room. Ever so gently, she begins to open the door to the bedroom... Kim laughs (vewy quietly) her most ev-il laugh... bwahahaha.... she slowly opens the door and begins to tip toe inside... but wait... who is that down the hallway? Is that my sweetie? Suddenly Kim can't for the life of her remember why she's holding this bucket of snow. She shrugs, dumps it on the floor and heads down the hall to see who exactly that was sneating around the lodge so late at night. Hmmmmm....

Morning all! Sorry I missed the fight, but I had a few things I needed to do so I got off the computer instead. So I will ignore all mean snowballs directed at me and pretend some of it didn't happen but no matter how you look at it, Apolo ain't sexy!

I was upstairs all happy and cozy in bed when my cell phone (of course downstairs) starts ringing. I race downstairs only for it to be a wrong number

Jeannie, I just had to say I would take that purple ketchup over that green ketchup any day!!!
