You have to keep me updated on the 'must have' games...

:)

Will do! :)

If y'all go to TC's meet in May, my boys will talk your ears off about video games! :teeth: They were so psyched when I told them you got a GC! :teeth:

Might have to smuggle a TV and GC with us up there..:smooth:

Evening all... I don't really have time for a ketchup, but I just wanted to stop in and say hi to you all since I see more of you here now. I had a nice day (busy) and had lunch with my brother, headed out to Target and then got caught up doing things at home. Soon I will have my friend Marc stop on over and he'll probably be here until late.

I did see that Karen lost her bracelet... I hope you find it soon :) Off to make dinner!

Elaine--any game cube recommendations???
2003 MLB Slugfest gets thumbs up!!

Well I do really like Need for Speed... it isn't all that easy but it is fun to play. I also just got Animal Crossing today and I just spent about 2 hours playing it and I didn't even realize it  Luis didn't even get any games that are good for your family (he got a lot of what he likes) so I am not sure I could recommend any. But Animal Crossing is a lot of fun and it even came with its own memory card!

Dinner is in the oven... I swear I will catch up with you all soon!

My boys rented Animal Crossing and LOVED it. They had alot of fun with it. They will probably buy it eventually. Right now they are on an X-Box kick, since they just got one yesterday.

I would like to possibly get a role-playing game like D & D(to play when girls are asleep;) )
I liked NFS on Playstation and liked the look of Animal Crossing...
Might have to get another game if they ever run them on sale or if i see them used..:)

Carol's back :teeth:
sorry your FIL was a bad boy :( Need the YaYa Enforcers?
He should be glad you were there at all since roland was sick.....you're right, you just can't please some people.

Games....I'm so out of the loop on these ;)
But DS got an X-Box and some games and DD got a Game Boy Advance. That's about all I know

DD had powerpuff girls, E.T.(GBC), Diva's something or another, Pac-man & Arcade games with Pacman included and will get a Shrek racing game on her party on the 4th...

She has been playing that non-stop..

Just about to have dinner, but wanted to stop by first. Glad to see everyone had a great Christmas. :) And anytime you can get Star Wars in there, it's that much better! :teeth:

I'll just tell you about the 2 big things I got this year. The first you all know about. It arrived over a week ago: my new gas grill. :teeth: Got the thing put together, got the tank, now I just need a decent day to try it out. :) The other toy I got is really, really cool. So cool in fact, that I've crashed it a number of times. :p It's a beginner's kind of remote controlled model airplane. :) Shaped like a Stealth fighter, it's made all out of foam & has 2 small plastic props. You hold the remote switch to run the engine, toss it in the air, then fly it around (no landing gear). It has a small battery that runs for 7 minutes, then needs a recharge. I crashed it pretty good a few times at the IL's yesterday. Hit a fence too. :o I need to get some tape and foam to reshape the nose, tho. It's sorta banged up pretty bad (darned fence!). Well, the rest of it is just fine, just the nose. If you're thinking about getting into flying, this is a good way. Granted, it still costs like $70 or so, but it's cheaper than the real thing!! Tomorrow I plan to "fix" it and take to the skies again. :teeth:

Gotta run. Dinner calls. I'll try to ketchup w/ ya'll later!! :)

Im afraid my bracelet is gone for good. We looked everywhere it could be and didnt find it. I fear someone picked it up in the parking lot or restroom of the restaurant and kept it.

Dh was very sweet though and took me out tonight and bought me another one. It's even prettier than the one I lost. It will never really replace my first one because of sentimental value but it's very very pretty. It has three stones all together and then a space and then three stones on and on around the bracelet. I said every time I look at the bracelet it will remind me of my three special guys. It also has a very nifty SAFETY clasp on it. I still may get a chain put on it anyway. I wish I would have done that with the first one. I kept saying I should but never did.

OH Karen I'm sorry about your bracelet..sentimental things are the hardest.:( I hope you can build many happpy memories with your new pretty one from DH.:)

I have such limited computer time until I'm back home again...so I'm skimming like a maniac!!!:o:o

KIM!!!! Ahhhh....that is the BEST SIG I have seen EVER.:)

And one more item before I have to tear myself away...

...Elaine said KETCHUP!!! :p:p And I think Carol did too!!! I'm not sure if it was a first-time usage for them actually... I know I am a BIG HUMONGOUS DORKFACE for STILL getting excited...I mean you all may have used it before and I may have missed it...anyway I promise I'll stop noticing, I think everyone has used it at least once anyway...hmmm...maybe not Shep...nope I'll stop... I swear it!!!!

Later!!!

Todd, if you can wait until May, Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes GC
is coming out on GC. Its an RPG game.

Aww....Karen, I'm so sorry you didn't find your bracelet :(
But the new one sounds very nice.....I like the 3 stones reminding you of your guys :)

I think I will have to put a sapphire bracelet on my birthday list. I love them!! I got earrings for Christmas. Little studs ( don't say anything!) and hoops with small stones.

Shep, DD got F-Zero and Mario Kart. That's the only 2 she asked for (but she isn't little ;) ). She has old game boy games that will work too, but of course, they aren't in color

Jeannie, Jeannie.....HI!!
When will you be back to YOUR computer?
We miss you....you little dork :teeth:

Karen, I'm sorry about your bracelet. :( The new one sounds lovely.

Hi Jeannie!

Hi Nancy!

Jay, your plane sounds pretty cool. :teeth:

Not even going to try to Ketchup. That would be next to impossible. My 47 minute flight last night turned into an hour and 15 minutes due to circling the airport for them to clear the runway of snow. A very turbulent flight as well, wasn't sure I wasn't on a roller coaster or maybe tower of terror. Tim was green by the time we got off the plane, and me, who never gets seasick or airsick was also queasy. DD, who hates flying, thought it was "cool". What was cool is that there were only 34 passengers, so we got to spread out and be comfortable. What wasn't cool, was that it was a flight to Las Vegas, and I had to get off in Cleveland! Then we had the nice drive home in the snow, thank goodness I had the foresight to bring the 4 wheel drive. I loved seeing my family, but boy am I tired!

Work sucked today, my boss must have had a lousy Christmas, cause she was a *****. I won't know about the promotion until at least mid January, but if I don't get it, I am looking for a new job. I am driving way too far to be treated like someone's dog.

Sounds like everyone had a nice Christmas. Thank you to all who sent Christmas cards, I had my mail stopped while we were gone, so after my lousy day today, I came home to four DIS Christmas cards, two from my YaYa sisters! I also got a nice letter from a long lost friend who I hadn't hoped to ever hear from again, so that was really cool!

No Jody, anyone ready for a rhyming contest?

 HI Sherry!!

I'm clueless with all the game talk.
But my guys have Nintendo, Nintendo 2, Sega, Playstation, Playstation 2, X-Box and various hand held ones....and ones will certainly be added all the time.
DS is a electronic geek :teeth:

I know DS got Ghost Recon and he was very happy about that. That's X-Box.
He loves Role-playing games. Plays some vampire-thingee game every week (in real time with people and everything :teeth: )

Be back later. I need to run out and check the mail...maybe more goodies are there :)

Hi Bonnie...welcome home.
Sorry you had a bad ay at work :(
Lousy boss ...betcha Santa brought her coal!!

I'm sure glad I wasn't on your flight....I get so airsick. But spreading out sounds good. Every flight we're been on in years has been very full!!
