Wow...we're still here!!
I'm back from grocery shopping. It's a NASTY day out there!!
I'm cuddled in to stay (other than moving to the nice warm sunny beach house!!)

Beth....I don't do poetry.....that would be Bonnie and Jodie.
And a mall would have to be close by or it wouldn't be a good fantasy place.

Elaine...you did good....only 12 tarts I have to go 50 miles to the "real" YC store, so I buy lots.
I did go to the pharmacy yesterday to get the Blueberry muffin votives (they don't make tarts!! ). Got the last 4 they had.

Kim....I will keep an eye out when I'm in Seattle. Guess I should carry the camra at all times Could always go stake out his DF's barbershop

Okay.....I'm off to clean out my mail boxes.

The beach house does have a turret doesn't it.....well, it does now. That's MY place. Quiet, good view. Starry night skies

Wow, we're still here!! Well good. I should be able to help move! Paige is having a friend over to spend the night, so I expect to be up awhile tonight.

The movie was excellent. The girls enjoyed eating candy and popcorn for breakfast and lunch. Emily did just fine I thought it was going to be too long for her. She had an asthma attack about 3/4 of the way though that we had to address....she attributes it to "eating too much candy mom"..... What a goof ball!!!

Well, off to get snacks for the sleep over and do some recycling for money for a service project.

Nancy, Staking out his father's shop is a WONDERFUL idea!! I'm sure dear ole' dad won't suspect a thing when he sees you hanging around out front with your roll of lime green duct tape and that big box sporting all the air holes. Don't let him see my address on the front...we don't want him finding out where his son has been shipped off to. If all else fails, you can send dad... he's pretty darn cute too.

Beth, Elaine and Bean are the ones marking up my monitor. I just hate it when they do that!

Bonnie, Thailand sounds absolutely mahhhhvelous!! Hmmm... since I didn't watch Survivor I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but I know with you in charge, we can't go wrong!

Hee hee... it's going to be the most incredibly romantic little hideaway under the stairs you ever did see!

Elaine, what "flavors" did you get? I'm so completely bummed about Patchouli & Clove being axed.

Kim will hate me for it but I didn't care for her Patchouli & Clove at all. I got a huge variety of a bunch of things. Honestly I got 12 different ones just to stink up the house a little different. But I got Seaside Holiday, Moutain Lake, Festival of Lights, Roses of Cliff Walk, White Christmas, Buttercream, Midsummer's Night, Key lime Pie, Wedding Day, Sage and Citrus, Tulips & Honeydew Melon I am lucky our YC stores are very close to us. One is about 10 miles away and the other is about 8. There are some at my local Hallmark and a few other stores in the area so I can go once a week if I wanted to I didn't want to buy too much since I am patiently waiting for my YCE to come soon

A lot of stores are carrying them now...seems most Hallmarks, but they don't have the variety.
We only have 2 "real" stores in the state!! And they are just 10 miles apart!

I haven't tried a lot of those scents......but I do like honeydew.
I really like Buttermilk Pancake too....see a trend here
Oatmeal cookie is good....but that is also on the discontinued list.

I was so excited to receive my YC.....now I only have the Dis ornament and Secret Santa and then nothing to look forward to in my mailbox.

Our Hallmark has about 10-15 scents (maybe 20 in a good month) at a time. I rarely do shopping there since they only have some of the same ones over and over again. I just wanted to try a lot of the scents out there and tarts are a great way to try them! I like our YC stores we have around here.

Nancy, after you receive your SS & OE, won't you have Christmas to look forward too?

Ok, first things first. Kimmie, thanks for taking my stuff to the new house. As for room request, 1st floor, nice view of the ocean and the decor similar to what I have now. A nice mix of Jedi and Dis. Thanks sweetie!

Second, I'm stealing time away to write this note. Haven't really caught up on my reading, so I hope everyone is having a good day. {{{Hugs}}} to those who aren't, and {{{hugs}}} to those that are.

Third, somewhere I see that Kim has reunited w/ Mr Fuzzy Chin. Sheesh, I go out for a while last night and sleep late today & I miss *everything*! Um.... exactly *how* did this happen?!?! I do my darndest to be there for my sweetie, then, *poof* I'm tossed aside when he comes back showing his grace. Life is soooo unfair. And after all the things I did...... I feel so... so... used. Sigh....

Sorry Ive been kinda quiet today. Been a weird day around here. We have had to keep the kids in and stay close to home due to tornado watches. We are now currently under a severe thunderstorm and tornado watch. This is FLORIDA!!! We are only supposed to have to deal with HURRICANES!!!! I hate this. I am terrified of storms. Trying to remain calm so I dont scare the kids. So far only light rain but its really headed our way according to the weather channel.

Forgot to say that our HS Football team got knocked out of the playoffs last night. We lost 12-7. I thought we could turn things around with 2 minutes left - but the other team intercepted the ball. It was very sad, felt horrible for the players - but they did make school football history for winning 2 playoff games, being the District 10 champions and beating a rival team for the first time in 13 years! I'm very proud of our guys!

It has rained here since last night - but the snow has held off. I had my Aunt's memorial service today.

Well, kind of ...but it doesn't come in the mailbox.

I have Disney to look forward to also....but I am starting to get a bit overwhelmed with that.

I got a box in the mail today!!
Not a regular Dis exchange but from a Dis person that I have been doing a one-on-one exchange with....and it was full of chocolate and Yankee candles!! Made my day!! (I'm feeling a bit lonely)

Yes, Hallmark is limited.....but you can't find some of the YC scents in the "real" stores. Blueberry muffin is one.....and for me, they are better than nothing. At least close by. Also we have a craft store that has quite a good selection.
That's where my daughter worked and introduced me to them....
