My goodness, I get a few phone calls and have to run to the store and I miss so much!!!

Karen, I am so glad the storms have passed. They are very scary and the ones we had last week had even me scared and I love storms! I was scared once I saw the pinks on the radar an saw the hail. Storms can be very nasty and very scary. Glad your special angel and all the wonderful people here were around to help you.

I had the same reaction Karen when I saw Nancy post about volcanoes and earthquakes! You couldn't pay me enough to live on the west coast!

I guess each part of our country has its own particular hazards, LOL!

I'm feeling a little under the weather, getting the scratchy throat thing going here (thanks a lot Jodie!), I'm hoping it's just allergies but if I'm not around for the move, everybody have a good moving party.

I'm leaving all behind except Pierce, and just starting over. I like this moving around stuff!

Bonnie, I hope you just have allergies too right now. Mine are acting up due to the fallen leaves and the rain we've had (makes for tons of mold). So as annoying as that is, I do hope that it is all you will have to deal with

Elaine I have to admit I had my angel in my hands several times during that. It was calming to me and she was going with me if we had to bug out!

I have got to take a picture of my angel and post it for you all to see. She is just the most precious, beautiful angel.

Oh Elaine that teared me right up. I have to admit I had her in my hand and over my heart several times tonight with my eyes closed and just calming. She is absolutely the perfect size for my hand. I have very small hands and she fits right in my palm just perfectly. I just love angels they are soooooooo very calming to me for some reason. You could not have picked out a more special ornament for me.

Karen, I saw her once when I was out before we even had the OE and I thought she was beautiful then. I saw her again when I went shopping for you and nothing I saw looked better. I am so glad that she seems to be the perfect ornament for you Angels are calming though... always watching over you

I'm back. We had to pick up pizza from my son's favorite pizza place, which is 12 miles away.

I'm so glad everyone thought the Memorial Service remarks were funny, I must confess that on the drive to get the pizza I wondered if you guys would think I went a little too over the top with that one. My poor Mom had to turn her head and stick her fist in her mouth when I said that. I thought the old lady was going to keel over!

Wow - that was fast for you to get my card. And yes, you have my permission to share the photo with everyone. In fact, if I had all the YaYas addresses, I would send you one. My $1400.00 scanner (which I've used 4 times in 4.5 years) is sitting here being used as a copy stacker. I had a hard drive crash a few years ago and never reinstalled the scanner software. I just take everything that needs to be done to the main office and have them do it. I need to get someone out here to figure out what needs to be done to get it operational again!

My DD is 17 - and you're right, she is a major heartbreaker! The Scouts in DS's (he's 14 and in 8th grade) Troop lust after her big time - she won't give them the time of day! She's had the same boyfriend for 2 years, he's 18 and in his first year of college. (He's the one who rides to me for all those away football games!) She's a Junior in HS.
