Jodie, it does count against you. I currently have about 10 PMs in there... some of sentimental value so you have to make sure that what you keep in there is something you'll need long term or remember to delete them

Im starting to feel ickky myself. Im hoping its just psychosomatic from dealing with dh all morning. Of course I am kicking myself for playing kissy kissy with dh last night. And of course he made breakfast and I sipped and spit his coffee.

No matter when or if I cancel the trip I will still lose the first night because its under five days.

Im sorry if Im going on about this. Im just scared. I have no one down here at all to talk to.

Karen, I do think Kim said she had to go to town today somewhere so she might not be answering because of that.

I know you have a phobia of being sick (I remember that because I have it too) but if you are, then I just hope that it does only last a day, if that. It might just be psychological for you too. I get that way often or you could be a little green but not get it near as bad as your DH. Try not to worry about it at all though because no matter what I am sure that will make you queasy to think about!

Anyone know how to get supposedly washable magic marker off a child?? Patrick decided it would be a REALLY smart idea to make black dots ALL OVER his little bitty body!!!! He is a MESS. I tried Dawn and water and it just made it lighter. He has it all over his arms and legs, feet and hands. I thought of rubbing alcohol but thats too large an area to use it on. It could make him sick.

Elaine I am so glad someone else has that phobia besides me. Maybe Kimmie, you and I are triplets seperated at birth???

Yep fobias like that are big in my mind. Maybe we wer separated at birth. I hear some people talk about how often they get sick like it is no big deal... to them it probably isn't, but to me it is. Normally though I deal with stomach bugs in other ways. I wind up feeling queasy and then I have trouble with "other things" BUT at least I am not doing anything else I wonder how many others have that same fobia.

DH is feeling so bad about what he said he has so far cleaned the entire kitchen and fed the girls lunch all by himself. If he had a tail I think it would be between his legs right now!!!!

DD is on her way.....now the waiting starts. At least the weather is nice and looks like no snow on the roadway over the Pass.
She got creative and hooked her computer speakers up in her car so she could listen to her CDMan....even though the quality isn't great...it is at least something.

Hey guys, I'm back!
I'm feeling much better - although I'm still achy and tired. I got the newspaper done and sent into the main office. Now I just have to get the posting done and print out 100 invoices.

The house is an utter wreck - and I've got the urge to decorate for Christmas. I told DD I would pay her $50.00 to use for Christmas shopping if she decorated both inside and out. Being the smart and wise girl that she is, she snapped that offer right up!!

Have to leave in a little over an hour to pick up DS, he's on a 10 mile Scout hike.

Sorry I haven't been around to cook for all of you, how have you survived all weekend without my delicious stew?

naw...you didn't miss anything....it was too stupid to share. I simply asked if he had transferred some money after we refinanced on Friday and he turned it into a "I don't tell you how to do your job" discussion ending with....and I quote...."the finances are practically none of you buisness so leave it to me"...... There was also a "I don't remind you to do the laundry" reference during the exchange

It'll be awhile still, but thanks for keeping track of her
300 mile drive......through the most boring countryside you can imagine!
Then over the gorgeous mountain (gorgeous when there is NO snow on the road ), then through the urban sprawl.....but it's Sunday, so that part shouldn't be too bad.

Housework is done...now I need something to keep be occupied for 3-4 more hours! Maybe a nap.

Yep...I think the drive home will be uneventful...and that's good.
Then I have until next Sunday when I can worry about her driving back again.
This is the first winter she's had a car at school. I made her ride the bus last year .....but she refused this year

I am back from shopping. Boys are outside blowing leaves and we have unloaded the car. Allison tried on so many dresses. We now have three to choose from and then will take back the other 2. She is going to try them on for the Steve and Chris tonight. She really thinks that this boy who has been calling multiple times during the evening, coming to her locker, and who asked her if she would go out with him is going to ask her or he presumes that they are going. She said she is going to find out for sure tomorrow. I really hope that he is going to ask her or she will be very hurt. He had mentioned something about being grounded 2 days before homecoming and then didn't go. He watches his 11 year old sister after school and gets grounded easily about them not getting along. Hopefully, he will behave for the next two weeks. I would be one very upset Mother Ya Ya.

I want to know more about the hats that Jennifer is making. I haven't read everything here that I missed so I need an update.

Jodie, I am excited about the Ya Ya meet. I would have loved going to DISCON but with DH being out of work for so long and then me taking the long term assignment I just couldn't entertain that thought. I am dreaming that the economy continues in favor for us and that I can attend whatever we decide.

Betty, that is great that she has it down to a few dresses! I remember going shopping for dresses (although I did willingly only choose to go to my senior year dances... easier than trying to convince my parents to let me go and have to follow their rules ) but I would take my boyfriend with me so he would help me pick. I figured if he loved it on me then I was fine I do hope Allison does get asked though or that she at least finds out for certain tomorrow. You'll have to take pictures and show us though of the dress she does pick out

Jennifer is making (knitting) us little ornament hats to hang on our bags for DISCon. They sound so cute and I can't wait to see them!

I haven't said anything about meeting for a YaYa meet. I won't be able to say anything at all because honestly after this trip I don't know when I can convince Luis to let me go again. So we will have to see when the time comes.
