I just saw Monsoon Wedding(rented). I know it was out a while ago...but anyway it was so great. Have you seen it. This director-Mira Nair-is brilliant! Makes me want to got to a Punjabi wedding.

Yep, got to go shopping. Thought I'd got a bargain present for our nephew - an Alice Cooper DVD - but one disc looked funny so I didn't want to give it as a present but I'm not sure what my retail rights are here - I hate confrontation, can you tell? Any excuse not to go back! Roland had a brilliant idea - I get to keep the DVD and we buy Kai a new one! The only condition is that he doesn't have to watch it...

I have had a crazy week so far with almost no time to Dis.
This morning I leave for a long weekend in Chicago with 8 of my girlfriends. No kids & no hubbies We have play tickets on Saturday night & we plan on doing a lot of shopping!

Morning all! Just popping in quickly to whine a little more. My head is stuffy and we have snow Fortunately they say not more than an inch will fall and since it is only 34° outside it may not stick much to anything (maybe the ground but probably not the roads).

Nancy, at least we are getting the colds now so they will hopefully be gone by the trip!

The forecasters are calling for us to get 2-3 inches of snow by tomorrow.

I believe the previews of next week's Survivor said that it would be on Wed. night. Wonder if it will be before or after the Amazing Race?

During the Elephant Trek, (which was 2 hours on an elephant!) Brian was totally freaking out, clinging to the railing! Every time the guide would walk away from the elephant, Brian would yell, "Excuse me, excuse me...." It was hilarious. Clay was much cooler and calmer about everything.

Clay is surprising me with his strength, speed, and endurance during the challenges. But he is such a squirrelly little dude, I don't like him. And when he and Brian came back from their Trek, Brian made a sarcastic comment about the "little sheep rushing into the water, so relieved to see their master...."

Penny definitely got hers. Jake kept looking over at Erin and Ken, who were seated in the Jurors Section and rolling his eyes!

Elaine, I guess I should be happy we only have rain. I hate snow. They are saying the rain will turn to snow later today.

Okay I am just losing it completely... work just ain't happening anymore. We had a half day yesterday with our group gathering. It's Friday, it's snowing, next week is only a partial week and I am 9 days away from the first real vacation I've had in two years! Nope, work just isn't happening for me at all!

Well I found out that our less than an inch of snow is now supposed to be 1-3 inches today. It is still snowing and I think the grass is completely covered. It's probably a good wet snow great for snow ball fights, but probably a big big pain to shovel. I guess no leav blower to move the snow off the driveway for us. Sherry, I am just shocked you guys don't have snow yet (but ours started as rain as well)

Someone please help me... I need a good kick in my **** to get me back and serious with my work!!

It was raining here but now it quit. The snow is supposed to start tonight and carry on through tomorrow. Sunday is supposed to get up to 44º, which is good as DS has a 10 mile hike with the Scouts.
