Hi everyone! My family will be joining you the last week of October...so you can add us in!

Traveling will be: myself(33), DH(35), DS(12), DD(8), and DS(4). We're celebrating our son turning 5 on Halloween. We are arriving October 27th and staying until Nov. 1, and are coming to the Poly from 4 nights on the Dream.

We have tickets for MNSSHP on Oct. 27th.

The other days I haven't scheduled too crazy...trying to keep this trip a little more laid back

So the countdown is on.....we will be there before we know it!!

...Hi Tim and Tracey. I added you to our list. Closer to departure time we are going to post pics of ourselves (if you want) and I am going to start a Face book page for us so our Poly friends on the Poly thread can live vicariously through us It is proving hard to put together a "meet and greet" because everyone has their plans set but I bet we can try a Tambu lounge meeting some night!

Sounds like an amazing trip, trains, buses, monorails and boats or should I say Ships!!

My Grandfather worked for the Federal Government a million years ago and my Mom was born in Silver Springs, MD. Is that near you? He worked in Health and Education but then was transferred to Chicago when my Mom was about 5 (early 1950s).

My DH John travels to DC every year for a work meeting but this year it happens to be the week we are in Disney which was sort of a bummer because DD and I were going to go and take in the sights while he was working. There is always next year

You should really take the time to visit DC, it is a great city (third on my favorites list behind NYC and Boston). I would suggest taking one of the trolley tours that lets you get out at the monuments and has a good tour guide.

We love Boston! We are hoping to take a road trip next summer to the East coast. We spent 2 weeks there in 1999, before the kiddo, and DH and I had the best vacation! So much to do and see I can't wait to take our daughter!

I know a few of us will be at the MNSSHP party on Tuesday night. We have not decided if we are going to do SOA again this year. We really enjoyed it but are trying to keep our schedule flexible. I hope we if we decide to go there will be some seats available

Although I don't have a problem making my ADR's 180 days in advance it is kind of a pain since 6 months later my family now wants to change 1/2 of them and of course there is no availability where they now want to eat I almost wish Disney would keep a small block of tables available and release them closer to the actual time.

Does anyone know if beer is available in the CL lounge during the afternoon (like 1-5pm)? There have been so many mixed reports on other threads and we like to hand out and relax at the volcano pool in the afternoons and dh (and I LOL) enjoy a beer or two, so it would be a nice perk if I didn't have to end my trip with a huge pool bar tab!

Yep, beer available in the afternoon! You just need to ask an attendant for one. But you will have to put it in a plastic container for the pool. While at the resort I usually am always walking around with my refillable mug in hand...it could be coffee, coke zero, water or some other type of beverage

I had the thing set at a 16:9 ratio which is like wide screen, so that's why everyone's face was stretched out all crazy. So I re-uploaded it just now with a regular 4:3 ratio and it looks much better! Its not in HD but I think it still looks OK. This has really gotten me even MORE EXCITED for the trip!!!! Can't believe we are down to 32 days of waiting!!!

Ditto! There are things I want to change now because we've want to change some park days and our flight got pushed back and I just can't get ressies. It's annoying me!

This is super cute! I really need to do this for my family after this trip. We take so many pictures and I told DH we really need to make sure we take more video, so I want to make sure we put it all together so we can watch it now and then. Then we can start a tradition to watch our old videos before every new trip! This is a great one!

One month from today! I can't believe it's getting so close! I have to really get myself organized and I have barely had time to get on the DIS let alone get my house in order. The sad thing is I don't really have anything SPECIFIC going on. It's just LIFE getting in the way, you know??? Tomorrow we're having a family birthday celebration for my DB and DBIL, so maybe I'll designate Sunday as house cleaning day (long overdue) and pre-packing day to figure out what I still need to do. Otherwise I'm going to be scrambling!!!

We really need to get in gear too, but life stuff has been keeping us busy. It's really time to drag that luggage out of the closet and see if it meets the size requirements. I haven't flown since I was probably 12 or 13. A lot has changed since then.

Not only that but I've gotta make sure all my bathroom products meet all the standards. Has anyone ever worn their insoles in through the airport? I have hardsole inserts, and I was wondering if they would let me pass through with them...

You should be fine with the inserts. You may have to take your shoes off, but you'll be fine getting through.

We're celebrating our survival of yet another busy year. Actually we are surprising our kids, who believe we are going on a very boring and torturous vacation. We will be in South Carolina when we spring the news and share the joy, just trying to make it the next few weeks without saying anything. Ahhhhhhhhhhh the torture, but the look on their faces will be priceless, I suspect they won't believe us until we actually arrive.

We are arriving October 23th and staying until Nov. 2 staying GV. We will be driving down from Northern Virginia. So please stay off I95 on Saturday October 22,

We have ADR's nearly everyday............

Soooooooooooo need a vacation. Last year we stayed at WL and truly loved it, this year we decided to try Poly ! Please tell me we will love it !!!

Only question I have what should we request for building ???????????
