I can't believe how many pages you've talked through today. I'm going to have to explain to my boss that I need weekdays off (with pay, of course ;) ) so that I can be on here dissing with my friends. Do you think he'll go for it? :lmao:

We were chatty yesterday. ::yes::

Say, wouldn't hurt to ask, would it? ;)

He still has Our car car too!!!!(let's not go there)

But anyways.....

DH got a call last night-I guess he went in for emergency surgery to get his appendix taken out:eek:

And the BIG Loaf doesn't have any insurance since he always likes to work for cash jobs-What a dumb @%%!!!!!:scared:

can't wait to see that bill :faint:

:scared1: :faint: That is one bill I would not want to get.

Hope he is okay.

:thumbsup2 But SIL is in Chicago again at the Cancer Center of America- She had to have 4 units of blood tranfused sine her blood count were so low-But the good thing about that is she's feeling better and should be feeling better for WDW this Saturday-They're flying down on Sat!!!:thumbsup2

I think we should get her a wheelchair though to get thru the parks-we'll have to see

Does anyone know if we can get her a pass to allow her quick access to some of the attractions -there's not many things she'll be able to tolerate, but I figure she could go on Buzz Lightyear/Soaring-But the wait in line might be too much for her

I hope we can get her one-Cause I really think she'll only be able to tolerate a little time a each park before she needs to leave and get some rest back at the resort:guilty:

Check out the disabilities thread Kim. There is some kind of pass but I'm not sure what the conditions of getting one are.

There is some kind of Red Card Medical Pass you can get. I think you might need a note from your Dr. But I agree check out the disabilities boards they might be able to help you. And in can she does need a note you might want to try and find that out right away. :thumbsup2

Morning.

One more Day here also. :cool1:

:dance3: Today is good so far. I wonder how long I can keep it that way.

Just back from the Disabilities board and found this out:

Do I need a letter from the doctor?
No.
You don't need a doctor's letter and the CM is likely to not want to look at it. Some people DO feel more confident asking for a GAC if they have a letter, but a letter is not required. According to the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) you can not be required to provide proof of a disability.
You can choose to show proof, but can't be required. If you do have a letter, it should reflect your needs, not your diagnosis.

Thanks for the suggestion Kelli!!!

And this is helpful for Soaring and some of the shows!!!! Since there will be 6 of us all together!!!!

We have 6 in our party; can we all use the GAC?
The GAC is for the use of the person whose name is on the GAC.
The GAC is usually given for up to 6 people (5 plus the person with a disability). There may be some situations where you are asked to split into smaller groups. When that happens, it's usually because the waiting area or seating area for people with disabilities is too small/crowded for a large party
